If you're interested in all of them-email me and let's talk~ I bought these minimal heavy duty industrial track light fixtures in 1987 at the height of Memphis design group frenzy for a loft space I lived in. They were created by German born designer Richard Sapper and made in Italy. And I had these and a dozen other Snakelights swirling all over the soaring ceilings of my loft. They are made of steel& black rubber with white ceramic sockets. These can be shaped and bent in infinite configurations, and will hold the form you give them. There have been a number of flimsy knock-offs of this groundbreaking design, but none seem to have come close in quality to these made-to-last-a-lifetime track lights(they weigh between 1 ½& 3 pounds each) The fixtures fit my former home’s track system which I bought retail from Builders Square, and they also fit my current Home Depot tracks. Nothing custom or commercial needed… At the time of purchase. They were a special order from an International Market Square showroom in Minneapolis MN and cost between $165.00 and $200.00 each. They’ve been in storage for over two decades and I ran across them a couple of months ago. The upholstery is pretty ragged, but the overall integrity of the construction is solid, no dents or bends, just correct patina to surface. There may be a small screw/nut type piece missing because the threaded seat post goes into sleeve, and threading would indicate there is height adjustability, although a look at the build doesn't really reveal a clear area where something is missing. So, you have a constant seat height of approx 20" Total height to top of backrest is ~23" Seat is approx 13" x 13" A very cool antique statement piece as a relic of music history. Here is an All Original Vintage 1950’s Walnut Singer Sewing Machine Cabinet Stool with the original vinyl covering in great condition. You don’t find many of these with the original vinyl covering in this shape very often. It came with a 1951 15-96 which is being sold separately(that’s how I know it is from 1951) The cabinet went to Goodwill because it ended up having some veneer issues which required some advanced woodworking equipment and I’m not about to deal with issues like that so someone got a good cabinet and Goodwill made a few bucks. This will be shipped with the legs disassembled for cost purposes(I charge only actual shipping costs to the buyer) so if you are not capable or know of someone capable of screwing on the leg brackets(4 brackets and 8 screws altogether) to reassemble the stool then don’t buy this stool. The vinyl is in near excellent condition(especially considering its age) and I wouldn’t even consider thinking about replacing it—it’s probably got a lifetime of use left on it. Attic fresh. I offer a vintage Cosco step stool. This stool has never been used and was still in its original box with original assembly instructions. I took this out of its box and assembled it to take photographs for this auction. I will disassemble it and package it in its original box for shipping. It is in great condition as expected. The chrome shines beautifully and shows no flaws. The cushion is also in outstanding condition. The rubber pads of course show no wear. They do show some adhesive around their edges most likely due to sliding when assembled at the factory(see photos) The cushion is an off white color which Cosco called"Almond" on the side of this box. Vintage Hirsh Garden Tote Stool: Green Steel, Frog Logo Rare! Circa 1989
This is a handy dandy little stool made by the Hirsh Co. beginning in 1989 and from what I could find. For only a very short period. The company also made an orange one for workshop or garage use. There don't seem to be very many/hardly any around today. It is made of steel with the connecting pieces screwed onto the base. The top is some type of wood, maybe even fiberboard or something of that nature, with the handle cut out of the middle. It measures about 13" tall and the seat is about 9-1/2" X 11" The seat is ridged. A nice feature, to make it safer to use as a step stool. The bottom is wider as the legs are slightly splayed. The bottom bin is about 4" deep for toting your gardening gloves, seed packets and small tools. The seat is sturdy and there are no dents in the metal. However. There is surface rust most ... morenotably on the inside bottom and in random other places, the seat is stained and one of the protective feet is missing. It was found in a very dirty old garage. I wiped off the heaviest of the surface dirt and anything that had the potential to move. It will still require a major cleaning.It is being sold as is. Fresh from a country California estate. This unique rocking gout stool/ bench is in very good condition. The pale greenish blue tapestry is quite nice and the wood appears to be a dark stained Oak. Vintage Sommers Bros Stool with Drying Rack Industrial Machine Age Patent 1929 This metal stool was made by the Sommers Bros. Appliance Company of Saginaw. Michigan. The patent date is Nov. 18, 1929. The stool has 16 drying rods that are conveniently stored under the seat. When you want to dry your clothes you pull the rods out. Each rod is 23” long and when they are all out the rack is about 56” in diameter. When your clothes are dry you push the rods back in place and you have your stool back. Pretty cool. The stool is 25 1/4” tall, the seat is 13” in diameter and the base is about 16” square. The paint is worn as pictured and the bottom shelf is rusty. The legs are green and the top is silver. Vintage heated foot stool. Pad measures 16" by 12" stool stands 12" high. Works great on all three settings and gets toasty warm on high. Cord is 5' long, great condition, stores inside the hinged lid when not in use. Paper tag inside says this was made by Division Products Corp. NY and has a zipcode. This is a vintage item, made sometime after 1962. Cloth cover is done in a needle point style, surely machine-made. It has a little snag on the edge of the lid that raises, but it's not that noticeable and there are no tears or wear. This was clean when found, I don't think it has been used much. Sturdy legs are real wood-off-a-tree and have moderate scratching/nicks. Most noticeable are nicks to the top of the left leg on both sides. Please enlarge my photos for a close look. For auction is one vintage Steelcase chrome and black vinyl drafting stool from the 1970s. It is in excellent original condition. And has been thoroughly cleaned and detailed. The chrome has been polished and shines like new, though there are a couple areas where the finish has ever so slightly blemished, such as the forward side of the backrest support. The chair stands 22" tall. 11" from gound to seat, seat is 11 1/2" wide, the rockers are 21 1/2" long. The Stool is 7 1/2" tall, 7" long and 12" wide. As you can see still has original paint job Black with Gold stripping with Flowers. There are two chips in The wood, upper right hand corner of back of chair and rite in the seat. You should be able to see both of these. The paint itself has several scratchs and chips in it. Chair is Solid. You just do not see many like this, it is a Rare Find.
