CAST IRON GLASS BALL FEET and legs - repairs - piano stool - vintage
I have left the claw feet on the legs. The feet are in good condition as are the glass balls. There is old varnish and dirt built up and they need a good cleaning. There are bubbles in the glass but I couldn't see any cracks. The legs are 16 1/2 inches tip to toe. The legs may need refinishing if you are redoing or repairing another stool. They do have some character to them now. The center piece is cracked and doubtful it could be used except for a pattern. If you get the bid and do not want the extra pieces I will just send the feet and figure postage that way. For now I am weighing all pieces to calculate postage so take that into consideration. This stool may need to be reupholstered. I do not know what kind of wood this stool is made of, but it appears to be real solid. The rest of the paint needs to be stripped off of the wood and stained. Or it can be kept just the way it is. The Company that made this stool has been gone for a long time. I cannot even find anything about it. I live in the town where it was made. Vintage PIANO STOOL, Twisted Iron Legs & Swivel Circular Seat, by W.D. ALLISON
I believe this is an old swivel seat PIANO STOOL and by the looks of the material I would say it dates from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. This stool is in pretty good shape. But it is a little warped and the legs do not all sit flat on the ground. The seat is also a little off center due to the legs not being evenly spread. The twisted iron legs are easy to bend and shape so if you want to work on leveling the legs and seat I am sure you can do so. The swivel seat spins up and down, the lowest level being approximately 15 inches high and the highest level being approximately 24 inches high. The center seat screw misses the very bottom guide hole by about 1/2 inch, but you can press this center screw inward and screw it into the bottom guide hole, see the pictures I have provided. The wooden seat may be original, not sure. This ... morewooden seat shows some lacquer and wood flaking on the top side and I can see some wood separation around the edges. There is a metal number plate nailed to the side of this seat. Vintage/Antique Wood Piano Stool Glass Ball Claw Foot Adjustable Chas Parker
This is a beautiful vintage wood piano stool by Chas Parker. It has light blue glass. Ball and claw feet. Two of the glass balls are completely round and the other two have a flat spot from wear. The seat is very smooth but does have a crack where the wood separated but not loose at all. There are small scratches and dings which you would expect because of age. It adjusts up and down by turning the seat. This is a beautiful piece of furniture, just needs to be polished some. Please ask any questions. I can also show more pictures if you need them.

Center bottom may have had a finial on it at one time. Bottom plate on seat is marked with a diamond shaped logo with a piano stool in the middle of it and the wording stamped below it"Trademark" and the numbers"47878" One of the legs is stamped on the underside with the numbers. 77729 C" and the letters"HB" Fabric is also in good condition with no holes, stains or odor. This a beautiful piano/organ adjustable seat stool. Victorian in style with lots of ornate scroll work on the legs. Stem and horizontal supports. The seat is worn in with most of the nice grain showing through what was once a black seat. The seat is thick and wide(no cracks) with a 14 inch diameter. Its adjustable from a low seat of 18 inches off the floor to a high of 24 inches. This stool is very stable with the eagle claw glass feet a wide 15 inches square. The seat has a gorgeous leaf scrolling all around the perimeter, but its pretty worn and you have to look close to see the intricate detail. The feet are awesome with a full 3 inches of feather pattern in brass rising up from each claw. Age estimated to be around 1900. A very nice useable antique piece!

Antique vintage Merriam walnut piano stool bench ball and claw feet, good shape
Up for auction to U.S. customers only is an old piano stool made by Merriam Co. of South Acton. Mass. I believe the wood is mahogany. Overall it is in great condition(see pictures) with very tight joints and only a slight wiggle to the seat; the finish is in great condition with only a few small dings to the seat surface; somewhere along the line a previous owner decided to paint the metal parts of the ball and claw feet brass which looks good but is not original(a little stripper should easily remove the paint if you want a silver finish) It stands 19 inches tall and raises to 24 inches. Antique High-Back Piano Stool Early 1900's Glass Ball Claw Feet Vintage
This is a beautiful. Antique piano/organ high back adjustable stool with glass ball claw feet. The stool seat is adjustable from a low of 18 inches from the floor to over 21 inches. It features hand carved scrolling on the top of the seat back, which is evident because its not perfectly semetrical. From floor to top of the seat back is 36 inches and the back support is 16 inches across with an arched curve for comfort. There are decorative turns on all the legs and horizontal supports and each leg as well as the center stem are fluted. Not sure what the wood is, maybe walnut or maple, but it has grain and its stained a medium brown in color. A very nice old piece.

Very nice piano stool from Chas Parker Co. Needs to be stripped down and repainted. But there are no broken parts to it. There are a couple of nicks to the top of the seat, but most of it could be sanded out by the right hand. The claw and ball feet are all in tact and feature no breaks. The seat turns very nicely, but it does make a loud screeching noise when it turns. For your consideration is this great looking"TONK" piano stool. The stool features its original finish. That has the alligator texture that happens over time. It has age appropriate wear and an overall very nice vintage look. The wood seat is 14" in diameter and adjust from 16 3/4" 22 1/2"+ tall. The higher the seat the more wobble it has as the thread runs out. This is the norm for this type of mechanism. The decorative claw feet have wonderful hand blown glass balls in their clutch. This is a beautiful maple and steel 3 legged swivel piano stool. With 1 leg not attached. It looks as though the screw hole(s) might be stripped for that leg. The legs goes perfectly back in place and I believe the holes could be filled and re drilled to make it perfect. It has a gorgeous honey colored maple stem with nice lines. The tufted fabric seat is comfortable and a rich gold in color. The legs are ornate and a glossy black in color. The stool stands 21 inches high from the floor and the seat is 14 inches in diameter with some cushion, has rounded edges and is really quaint. Vintage Salesman Sample Piano Stool 9" Tall
I don't claim that this miniature piano stool is in mint condition but there is no discounting its charm or relative scarcity as a salesman sample! Mechanically it is fine and twirls appropriately(as any proper piano stool should! And its patina is great. With some signs of original paint showing through. But two of the legs have chips out of them, near the base(seen in second photo) There is a small spot of one paint on one leg(about 1/4"inch) and the stool is very dirty. I have not attempted to clean it or do anything to it as I am not an expert in these things. The diameter of the stool seat is 7"inches and it stands 9.25" inches tall.

MacKenzie-Childs Round Placemat - Attached To MY Upcycled Vintage Piano Stool
You are bidding on an authentic MacKenzie-Childs Round Courtly Check Placemat. It is Brand New(I removed the swing tag) I stuffed it as a cushion and attached to My Upcycled Vintage Piano Stool. The piano stool was missing the seat and the feet. So I took matters into my own hands and gave it a bit of a face lift. With some paint underneath, and washi tape. I added the placemat. Which as I said, I stuffed. Then I made the yo-yo flower on top and added leaves and a tassel. For the feet. I used some faux crystal beads, and some plumbing hardware(I think) Not sure what they are called. Stool is marked with my name"Forget-Me-Naught" So there is no confusion. However I did leave the original label on the placemat. I did NOT refinish the stool. Dull areas on the legs are original finish and not dirt. It is clean. But there may be marks ... moreon the wood. There are not scratches or cracks, but it does look like a vintage piece with normal wear. Stool is 14" tall or 16" if you include the cushion. The feet are approx. 11" apart. Diameter of cushion is approx. 14" Very heavy. Solid wood, strong enough to sit on. Cushion is attached permanently to the stool. Shipping will be actual cost. Lyon& Healy Wooden Piano Stool Seat with Glass Claw Feet vintage. The stool sits on 4 glass ball metal claw feet. THe name Lyons& Healy Chicago is on a metal piece underneath the seat-see pictures. The seat adjusts up and down by turning without difficulty. There are some minor cracks in the wood seat(tried to show in last picture-still feels very smooth running fingers across) Minor scratches from use-no large scrapes or scratches. Vintage piano/organ stool made by Charles Parker Co. Meriden. Conn. The stool is adjustable, in great condition with no major flaws. There are three legs with metal ends, golden color and glass balls that are encased in the metal. No damage to the metal or the glass. No rust on the metal except very little surface rust on the plate that is screwed on the seat. The seat is in comfortable condition and doesn't need refurbishing.
