Vintage Doll Size Piano Stool Wood So cute
This is a fun little wooden stool. Too small to be a child's but too big for a doll house albeit a very large one. It is a piano stool style with the adjustable chair. At it's lowest it is about 5 5/8th inch tall approximately but could be increased in height by about 1 inch. Great for sitting a larger doll or use as a pedestal in a display of child or doll items. Made from solid wood it is in a nice condition. Some residue from glue. Could be a repair or from original assembly. We do not know if it was made by a little old man in his workshop or was self assembly or factory made. The top of the chair is 4 1/2 inch diameter approximately. An estate find.

Vintage piano stool leg tips
These leg tips do not have a clawfoot. They have more of a scroll look with curl almost feather look. They were painted gold but most of the paint is gone. They are not in the best shape. The glass is not chipped. They are 3 3/4" long. I think the will clean up nicely. Sold as.

Up for auction is this absolutely stunning vintage antique Victorian classic 1800's claw foot swiveling seat/ piano bench/ chair/ seat/ ottoman/ footstool. Adjustable seat raises up and down adjusting for multiple users. Characteristic turned wood legs and spreaders. Brass claw feet holding onto a glass ball and all authentic. I believe this to be maple wood due to the smooth wood grain although I'm not positive. Beautiful craftsmanship and really solid. Stool measures 16 to 22 inches high and 13 inches square at the base of the legs. In great vintage condition. I believe this was made between 1870-1890 by Merrian. This auction is for a vintage Bench or Stool from England. This is a well made bench that is very stable and sturdy. It can be used as a Piano Bench. Organ Bench, Vanity Bench or could be a nice additiona to your mud room as a stool. It has"under the seat" storage for music books. This is a wonderful little bench and has super eye appeal and it is can stand up to dailey use with normal care for a long long time. It's made out of mahogany. the seat cover is in good condition without any rips or holes. It is 21" wide. 14" deep and it's about 18 3/4" tall to the top of the seat. Incredibly beautiful needlepoint embroidered foot stool. Top comes off for a good sized compartment. 19 in high. 15 in deep, and 17 in wide. Not sure of age or origin, but it has age related nicks on the wood. Other than that it is solid and no tears on top part. The scene is quite interesting, someone is holding an umbrella over the person on the horse, there are cute animals around the border, etc. Colors are vibrant.

I got it off an old guy that was 85 years old& he told me that his grandpa made it for him when he was a little boy back in the Great Depression to play piano on. The stool seat height adjust from 22.5" tall to 29.5" tall approximately. The seat measures 13.25" at it widest and 10.25" at it narrowest. The measurements are approximations. It is still solid and will hold my 205 pound weight when I sit on it. This stool is well constructed but it is really old& I am selling it as a decoration antique and not something for everyday use. Ebony, 85-key Steinway& Sons piano has been in my family for 50 years and we have loved and appreciated her; before that she was owned by a friend of my mom's family, Mrs. Borden from Fall River, MA(according to my mom, she has was not related to Lizzie, but who would claim that? This vintage piano was in Mrs. Borden's family from when it was first purchased back in the late 19th century, before she bequeathed it to my mother upon her passing. She is a beautiful and unique piano with intricate carvings, but she is in need of repair as now some of the keys are no longer functional(aged hammers) the ivory is chipping away from the keys, there is a bit of wood damage near the bottom left, and the paint shows evidence of her age. This Steinway has never been repaired or refurbished and it is now in need of some attention. ... moreShe is perfect for someone who wants a new restoration project. The stool still screws up and down but the back is missing a few dowels and is not attached; it will need some attention as well. My family would love for this vintage Steinway to continue her life being loved and cherished. This is a vintage blank from a round swivel piano stool. It is 14" in diameter and 1 5/8" thick. Edges are rounded over. The plank has been rough sanded. Originally finished in mahogany. But the blank looks to be poplar or maple. Poplar was a good wood to use, since it takes just about any color stain. Mahogany was also very expensive. Why make your own blank, when you can get a head start with this one. Save a lot of time and effort. Can finish it to your liking.

It is missing the top seat& the screw part needs to soaked for it to turn& 2 of the screw ears are broken. 2 of the bottom short spindles from the center to the legs have been replaced as in the pictures. The metal claw feet are OK but the clear balls have cracks. It is rough but could be used for parts.

The round nut slides into a flat bottom hole and the wood plug keeps it in position. The parts of the center spindle will help you drill the correct size hole to the correct depth.
