Well used stool weighs 7 lbs. and measures 13" Tall x 16" wide at it's widest point of the legs x 13" in depth. The seat measures 14 3/4" wide x 13" deep. The seat is constructed out of pine and the frame and legs are a hardwood that we can't determine what type of wood it is. The stool is still sturdy but one of the legs is shorter than the others causing it to wobble, you can trim off the bottom of the legs if you want to level it back up. It has the original green paint that is reminiscent of the 1950's and 60's green paint underneath a coat of antique white paint. We didn't clean the stool at all because we didn't want to change the original condition that we found it in. It would need a good and careful cleaning(if you want to) As it is a little dirty from all the years it was used and from being in the barn. Retail Value Estimate- $75.00-$95.00 We are not 100% sure of the age but is most likely to be from th e early 1950's based on the original paint and style of construction. But just, slightly wiggly. I'm not a carpenter or a wood guy, so I didn't want to try and tighten them. The leather cushion is clearly in disrepair. It would need to be restored in order to make it look nice. It has springs on the underside. Here are the measurements at the various parts: front edge of left arm to front edge of right arm is 51" wide- back edge of left arm to back edge of back arm is 43 1/2" wide- seat back itself is 43 1/4" wide- height is 37 3/4" depth is 21 3/4" For the cushion. Vintage Wicker Blanket Box Trunk Storage Ottoman Lloyd Loom chest bench
Get that great Vintage look and extra storage with this lovely off white vintage wicker blanket box in the style of Lloyd Loom. These were popular in the 50's and 60's in the UK and the edges would frequently be painted gold. It think that must have been the case with this one. Because there were flecks off gold paint in the trim. The wicker is small and firm, but still pliable. It is a tight weave. It has two rows and wicker trim where the lid and trunk meet. There is a wicker pull tab in front for convenience in opening the trunk. It has 4 nice mid century legs that lift it off the ground 4 inches. It is great for extra storage for craft projects. It has the great patina of age showing several coats of paint from its past with some worn down or distressed areas and still has the original turquoise paint inside. The wicker is in ... morevery good vintage condition with no holes or tears. The top has been completely reupholstered in a spring green and cream pattern. The layers of old fabric and nails were removed. It has a fresh and inviting look and is a great size for coffee table. The finish has some wear, mostly on the top surfaces of the wood. There is a chip near one leg socket underneath, but it doesn't show and the leg still tightens correctly(please see picture 3. There is a little waviness to the wood slats near each end of the bench, which seems common for benches of this type. It seems to be made of good quality wood and is sturdy. It was made by the" Manual Arts Furniture Company" Cincinatti. Ohio. There is a storage compartment under seat. The top has been restored to a polished soft satin finish. There are some small scratches on the legs and side areas. The legs have decorative grooves. A child( i assume) wrote the name Honey on the front, it is very faint and hard to see. See pictures. Vintage CUSHMAN Colonial Cricket MAPLE FOOT STOOL #9038 sm WOOD Bench
The sturdiest little stool I've ever seen! Solid maple wood- well built- excellent quality! Legs are pegged into the top as shown in photo. A brass tag on the underside states the manufacturer- A genuine Cushman Colonial Creations- made in Bennington. Vermont. Also has an"F" stamped into it as well as"CUSHMAN 9038" The Cushman company was sold in 1971. This stool is over 50 years old, but has no major problems. A few surface scratches, but nothing structurally. The top looks like someone started to sand then stopped- a few light places on the top. 3 of the legs have a felt tab on bottom which I did not attempt to remove. It measures 8 1/4" high and 13" x 8" wide. Really in very good condition. Just a wonderful, beautiful stool! Insurance will be included in shipping charges. Vintage Antique Prayer Bench Wood Kneeler Catholic Rosary
This is an absolutely wonderful old folding prayer bench and it is in great condition. It is made from solid oak and is very sturdy. All joints are tight. There are both a padded knee cushion and padded elbow rest. The red velvet that cover the cushions have a little wear but only very little. Seeing the wear one can't help but think about all of the prayers that were sent from this lovely old kneeler. There are no stains or marks on the velvet material. There is a carved wooden crest on each side depicting a rosary. A brass rod runs across the bottom the add addition structural support. The brass has taken on a nice dull patina.
