The wood is in very good condition, there are a few areas of wear. There are 1 or 2 areas where the joints seem slightly loose- definitely not too loose, like you can sit on the bench. But just, slightly wiggly. I'm not a carpenter or a wood guy, so I didn't want to try and tighten them. The leather cushion is clearly in disrepair. It would need to be restored in order to make it look nice. It has springs on the underside. Here are the measurements at the various parts: front edge of left arm to front edge of right arm is 51" wide- back edge of left arm to back edge of back arm is 43 1/2" wide- seat back itself is 43 1/4" wide- height is 37 3/4" depth is 21 3/4" For the cushion. We acquired from an Old North Carolina Farmhouse Estate. Own a piece of Early ... moreAmericana Farm History! It is perfect for displaying in a Primitive Country Style Farmhouse Home. This old. Well used stool weighs 7 lbs. and measures 13" Tall x 16" wide at it's widest point of the legs x 13" in depth. The seat measures 14 3/4" wide x 13" deep. The seat is constructed out of pine and the frame and legs are a hardwood that we can't determine what type of wood it is. The stool is still sturdy but one of the legs is shorter than the others causing it to wobble, you can trim off the bottom of the legs if you want to level it back up. It has the original green paint that is reminiscent of the 1950's and 60's green paint underneath a coat of antique white paint. We didn't clean the stool at all because we didn't want to change the original condition that we found it in. It would need a good and careful cleaning(if you want to) As it is a little dirty from all the years it was used and from being in the barn. Retail Value Estimate- $75.00-$95.00 We are not 100% sure of the age but is most likely to be from th e early 1950's based on the original paint and style of construction. I inherited the contents of my parent's Brooklyn Heights estate a number of years ago. It represented over 90 years of eclectic collecting from my grandparents and aunt to my parents. I have been selling their jewelry. Decoratives and art collections for a few years and will continue to do so but now we are moving and downsizing. In the next few weeks I will be listing some fine Fantoni, Gambine, Capron and Ackerman pieces, mid-century Italian glass, lighting, victorian, art deco and mid-century decoratives and some exceptional pieces like an Osvaldo Borsoni dining room table, Saarinen chairs for Knoll, Milo Baughman and more. On one corner there is a chip at the edge(see photo) and if you turn the table around there is a small crack on another edge. There are 3 cushions with zippers. The cushions are in excellent condition. I don't think they are leather but it is hard for me to tell. The legs could use tigthening for there is small movement when you sit or shake it. Bottom line is that this signed teak bench has great style(I prefer it as a coffee table) but needs some work. Measurements: 61 1/2" long x 19 1/2" wide x 15 1/2" high. Now featuring a face-lift with my hand painting rendition of an old Paris post card. This stool was fun to paint, and I sure hope you enjoy viewing it! Oodles of detail involved! After sanding and priming. I painted the background of the legs and the top in a strong pink color. The spindles and the edge of the top were painted with"lavender frost, a lovely color with just a hint of lavender in it. Then the fun began! I painted a detailed border of prim dots to resemble antique lace. In the center of the lace I painted a vintage-looking Parisian postal card. Finishing off the painting are my signature cabbage roses in the corner. Signed by me, and then sealed several times with a high-gloss sealant to offer ... moreyou years of beauty and use. This stool is old. It has a slight wobble to it. But it's still plenty sturdy. I have sat and stood on this, and it held me just fine. Through the years there was some repair work done to the stool(I believe the stool is hand-made) as there is some glue residue down a leg or two. I couldn't sand the residue off, so what the heck, I just painted right over it. This just adds, I feel, to the vintage charm of this piece! No miniature here.the stool measures a full 17-3/4 inches high. The top is 1 foot squared. The legs"flare" out a little bit at the bottom. And they are 11-1/2 inches deep, front to back, and their widest point. What a wonderfully unique way to display a potted plant in your front foyer or outside on your patio! Give your little Granddaughter her own special place to sit when she comes to visit you by letting her rest upon this! You could even display a cherished knicknack on this enclosed under a ball jar. Rare Vintage Restored Bosendorfer Sepelli Mahogony Polish Grand Piano with Bench
We are offering for sale this one of a kind vintage restored Bosendorfer grand piano. If you want to own something that is truly unique and will stand out from any other grand piano then this is an incredible opportunity. With carved legs and subtle inlays t his piano has the antique look and design of Bosendorfer's built in the late 1800's with a high gloss polyester finish similar to that used on a new Bosendorfer grand pianos. This grand piano is a beautiful piece of furniture with a timeless look that new pianos can not match. Based on the serial number of 4313 this piano was hand-built by Bosendorfer in Austria between 1850 and 1860 and was restored in Germany in 2006. We aquired this piano as a trade-in a couple of years ago. We originally asked $60.000. We are overstocked in inventory and need to clear out some of our grand ... morepianos to make room for new 2013 models that have arrived and are on there way. This piano has some minor cabinet damage that probably occurred when the piano was moved. see condition description) The cabinet damage in no way affects the performance of the action or the tone of the piano which are both incredible. This is a piano that looks beautiful and cabinet issues could be repaired prior to deliver or later by a technician who works on polyester and laquer finish. Considering that this piano was originally built in 1850, the conidition is amazing. The customer we aquired the piano from said the piano was resored in Germany in 2006 and was completely disassembled. The plate was sand blasted and refinished. A new hand built German Renner action was installed along with new strings. The sound board was refinished with all cracks filled and shimmed with a new surface venner finish along with new reproduction logos. The original frame is a sturdy structure hand built in approximately 1850 that will last for centuries. Massachusetts, which was worked by bewhiskered Nichols’ too numerous to mention. As the country grew, the Nichols’ chair business grew. And by 1857, it was already an established company that became the benchmark in craftsmanship.
