First off please note that the Singer 201 sewing machine pictured is not included in this auction and is used for display purposes only. You will onl y be receiving the sewing cabinet with matching bench. This cabinet is used but is in great condition cosmetically with only some light scratches from normal gently use. It has no wobble and is a very solid and sturdy cabinet. I removed a Singer 201 from this table but it will fit most machines including 15-91. 66, 301, 401, 99 and many more. I will include the cabinet li ft spring arm assembly for most machines however it can easily be removed to fit larger machines. So this will fit most sewing machines. You will also receive a matching b ench and the cushion can be removed to allow more r oom for storage. It also ... morefeatures 4 drawers that slide in and out as they should. This is larger than the cabinets that are normally on here as it measur es 34 1/4" wide x 1 6 1/ 4" deep x 29" tall. When the top is opened up it measur es a total of 46 1/ 4" wide. So it has lots of room for your fabric to sit during sewing. The opening to this table measures 16 5/8" wide x 7" deep. The peg holes that fit into the sewing machine measure 9 5/8" center to center. I have no doubt that this cabinet will fit your sewing machine. This is a vintage RUGDL bench vise. It is Model#12. All cast iron. Something actually made in the USA. This vise has 3" jaws and opens to 3 1/2" It has a 3 hole mounting base with the swivel option. Also has an anvil horn and a flat plate on the back of the vise. Looks like it was repainted black at some point. Some cuts on the top of the jaws. But overall condition is very good. There is some sort of white stain possibly paint and some fading on green leather but otherwise in good sturdy condition with only some small cracks in the leather at the edges as visible in the photos. Vintage stool bench Wood with mustard yellow velvet? Padded upholstery Tacks
The legs are 15 3/4" tall; the padded area puffs up a little higher. About 18" by 13 1/2" wide and deep. Amazingly. The fabric on top is not stained or torn. It is dusty down in the buttoned areas. There is one area in the velvet(not sure that is velvet, but it looks like it is) that looks like it was rubbed thin or matted down maybe. That one is in the middle of the top. There is another spot, gunk or something, that you can see in picture# 10. I think that will clean off okay. There are scuffs and shallow scratches in the wood, examples shown in the pictures, but no deep chips. The stool stands firmly, no wobble to it. None of the upholstery tacks are loose. Now I will admit I do not know a lot about vintage things except they are worth more. Now this was my sisiter's stool for her very old Piano. Old enough that it had Ivory keys. This stool was with it. The piano is gone now and all that is left is this. It does need to be restored to make it really nice. It does still spin up and down. I believe the wood is Oak but do not quote me on that. It is a dark stain in color and very old. Now the Piano and stool was bought in 1956 and was used then. I do not know when it was really made. I am thinking before 1950 but for sure before 1956. This will also be selling in yard sales this year so sooner or later it will sell.
