Custom finished Set of three benches VERY strong benches with thick wood. High load capacity Set of three all matched. Smaller pair: 30" long. 19" deep and 14.5" tall Large bench 60" long. 19" wide and 14.5" tall Custom finished for a client who did not return to collect by Hillenbrand furniture and finally declared abandoned. Client requested a distressed look and the benches were sanded down. Stained, glazed and then finished with shellac and top sealer. Difficult to photograph the contrast is not as great as in the pictures. No scratches. No dents. Fully refinished. What an interesting if slightly imperfect piece of vintage Santa Fe or Spanish Colonial style furniture. Many possibilities here. the frame is very light weight. So uncertain if you could actually switch out the spring for a bench? But the cushions definitely need to be replaced and/ or recovered. are worn and dusty. but what a lot of potential with various fabrics. Marked Mexico on inner part of frame and there are some inner dings/ bites to the wood- likely from spring being taken in and out? Also some paint marks and some dings to finish, esp lower front. The bench is 30" tall. 37 1/2" from side to side, and 21" from front to back. It is covered with a vintage red vinyl that will need replaced. The wood structure underneath is in solid condition. It has no label on it so I can't tell you much about it. I am guessing it is wool because the fringe looks and feels like wool but I am not an expert so it is just my guess. It has a nice design to it. The background color looks like a creamy beige to me. The rug measures 59" x 13 1/2" fringe included) The fringe(just the fringe) measures 3" The rug has a nice pile to it so it looks like it would make a paino bench quite comfy. Very cute and sturdy. Does have some small but minor rust spots but those could be touched up with a little rustoleum. The fabric is in good condition with no rips or tears. Vintage Eastlake style Organ Bench-Walnut
This auction is for an Eastlake-style organ bench. It was used with an 1880s era pump organ. Dimensions are approximately 24"x 15"x 18" Weight 25lbs. The seat is covered with a black velvet. It appears to be made out of walnut. But I'm not sure. I'm not a furniture expert. But it appears as though this is an old piece that was refurbished a little bit. As you can see in the picture, someone added a couple of rubber feet to the center of the base for stabilization. I'm not sure why, because it doesn't reach the floor. Regardless, it is still is a little bit wobbly but sturdy enough for a person to sit on and feel safe. There are screws that probably need to be tightened. The legs are scuffed up a bit. Beautiful Vintage Carved Parlor Settee Sofa/ Bench for Two Greenish Blue w/ Dark Wood. It is in excellent condition for it's age. It was purchased from a Jersey City home built in 1903. It measures 33" Long Back X 37 1/2" arm opening X 23" deep. The fabric is very nice and probably 10 to 15 years old. Vintage CANE Seat WALNUT Wood VANITY BENCH by CONANT BALL Up for auction is a Beautiful CANE and WOOD VANITY BENCH Made by CONANT BALL Co. of Boston Bench is approx 23" x 15" x 18" Tall. It still has the original old Conant Ball Label(barely readible) and is also incised with CB Logo(see close ups) It is in great used conditionI. Shows some minor wear to bottom areas of legs as expected with age, but overall great. it is strong and solid, cane is in great condition, no holes. I believe the wood is walnut. we had it in a guest bedroom with an antique country french double cane walnut bed-matched perfectly, although its' simple pleasing lines allow it to easily blend with many styles.I have personally owned it for 30 years(non-smoking Home)and we bought it at an Estate auction in Fairfield, Ct) so unsure of exact age, but ... moreprobably from 50s-60s. Bench will be shipped in one piece. Conant Ball Company: Founded: 1852. By Aaron Jackson and Aaron Greenwood. They sold the compay to Abner and Leander White, who later retired. John R. It is marked: W. Germany" on one side, and is a solid, well-made tool that is in smooth working order. The jaws are 1 5/8" wide, and will open up to 3/4" wide. They close tightly, and do have a few file marks on top. This vise can be mounted to a table or bench top with the thumbscrew. The spring is strong, and overall is a very good old tool.
