Antique Vintage Piano Organ Stool Victorian style Cast Iron Ball& Claw Feet Ornate. The stool adjusts from 19 inches to 22 inches. The top is 14 1/2" across and 1 5/8" thick. Scratches. Nicks, and some of the finish knocked off from normal use. There is a 2 inch piece of bead molding missing on the seat rim. The glass balls have flat spots worn on the bottom. The glue joints on the top of the seat are visible. The screw thread has wear, so the stool seat is a little wobbly. Very usable. The base is very solid. The chair has an adjustable seat the spins to make it go up and down. I am not sure if this is normal. But there is a slight wobble to the seat- probably a thin piece of cardboard inserted by the pin would tighten it. The piece is rare and gorgeous. A superior example of a traditional design Victorian ... morefoot stool. The stool os raised on three turned and ebonised legs. Each leg is decorated with a ring of ormolu beads. The deep ebonised circular frame is similarly decorated with a band of ormolu beads around the rim and a deeper band of diagonal beads seperated by diagonal banding. The pad is covered by a wool work panel depicting flowers and foliage. Lilies I think, that are elobately decorated with beadwork. The beadwork panel is removal facilitating easier cleaning/polishing of the wood& ormolu without the worry of inadvertly waxing the wool. The panels base is connected to a screw fit dowel that is held in place by a diamond shaped wooden nut. Dimensions: The stool has a diameter of 31.5cm and stands 12cm tall. Weight: 1569g's. Condition: The wood is ebonised. Clean and waxed with a nice sheen. There are surface marks to the wood from past use. The ormolu is clean and bright with no apparent wear. There are very minor polish deposits and very minor tarnish to rebated areas. The wool work is clean and the colours are bright and true. The beadwork is well done with no apparent loss of beads. This is a nice condition Vintage Piano Organ Stool Chair. Has the eagle Claw and Ball feet. This was my grandmas. I'm no furniture expert on age. But from what I've seen I would say it is sometime between 1870-1900. Chair is in great condition. These stools with the backs are very rare. My uncle who is in the furniture making business repaired the top back of chair. You cannot tell except for the screws he used. Back of chair is 36 1/4 inches high. Stool seat turns round and raises and lowers just the way it's suppose to. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have. Right now I cannot find a box so I am going to have to list it pick up only. I would be willing to deliver up to 80 miles one way after payment has been made.

Antique 19th Century Victorian Carved Wood W/Needlepoint Top Gout Foot Stool
Antique victoroian walnut foot/gout stool. It is carved on both sides with a raised scroll ending in a bellflower. The four feet have raised ribbing. It measures 13" long. 11" across, and 8" high at the tallest point. The needlepoint is original. The binding around the needlepoint is all there, but in some part it is stiff to the touch from age. The underneath has a black baize fabric that has a tear. The foot/gout stool is sturdy and is all original. A Victorian Beadwork Design Mahogany Foot Stool c1860/80
This Victorian footstool I think dates from between 1860 and 1880. The stool is made of mahogany with three turned feet which I think are later replacements as there are more modern screws fixing them to the base, the top has lovely beadwork designs of flowers and patterns in the centre and has nice colour and patina with age as seen in the photos, the stool measures 12 inches diameter and around 5 inches high, there is a glue repair to the bottom of the stool as seen and some knocks to the mahogany with use over the years, the beadwork is in general good condition apart from a few missing beads and minor wear and tear with age and use

A Victorian style footstool that has seen some better days. It is being offered as is and as found. My guess is that it is made of walnut with a velvet-like material cover and dates from the last quarter of the 19th century. These are just my guesses and I do not guarantee it. It appears to have the original finish. But it is damaged in a couple of spots. One of the slats has come out of the hole(but could easily be glued back in) It looks like it may be missing a little wood, but still fits into the slot. The main issue is one of the legs at the very narrow"base of the urn" is broken. You have to laugh at an attempt to secure it. It is a piece of old string(which is still present) The fabric is in terrible condition w/ spots and losses and probably faded(which photos should show) The stool measures about 18" by 11" and ... morestands about 9" tall. Stands 19.5" tall at its lowest point, seat is 14" and distance between legs is 12" It was touched up at one time and there is a little gold paint on the legs at the base of the claw feet and some random varnish drips on the underside of the seat base. There is also a thin sliver off along the side of the underside, and a very light circular scratch on the seat that covers well with lemon oil. please see all pictures for best description. The footstool originally had a needlepoint covering over padding but has been nicely repainted at some point.
