This is an antique foot stool from a local estate. It has a carved floral design on each side and a shell design on the legs. The fabric has a light stain on the top; This stool measures 20" x 15" and is 13 1/2" tall. I don't know if the wood is cherry or walnut but it is made well and very sturdy.

Antique Victorian Round Wooden Footstool with Beaded Needlepoint This is an antique footstool with beaded needlepoint on the cushion. It is in good usable condition. Some of the beads are missing in the needlepoint. And there are cracks in the veneer that vovers the wood on the base. The footstool has an 11" diameter and is about 6" high. It is designed with a wooden screw in the middle of the cushion that is secured from the underside of the wooden base. It is very easy to remove the cushion from the base. We are pleased to offer this beautiful antique stool/chair. This is a gorgeous piece with fantastic details and character. It features a high back with side spindles and a center slat. The top of the chair back is arched and has a nicely carved design. The chair has beautiful turned wood legs as well as the center adjustment mechanism. The legs are fitted with gilded iron claw and glass ball feet. The iron is very ornately patterned. The glass is a light green with tiny air bubbles. The adjustable seat is rounded and rests atop the actual chair seat. The chair looks as if it has been re-stained(by hand) at some point. The chair back. At the top, has dark stain on the sides and medium stain in the center. The dark stain pattern is not uniform and has a"free hand" look. This is for a very old small milking stool. It has a lovely rustic charm and you can tell it has been well used. I think. But cant guarantee its made of oak. I am not a wood expert: I would think its probably Victorian though may be a bit later or even earlier? The legs were probably once very old chair legs. One is worn down a bit more on very bottom so it has a slight lean. All part of its patina from a well used old hand made stool. You may want to polish it up, I will leave this to the buyer. It is approx 8.25" across and 5" high. A great old item in a period setting.

Beautiful Antique Biedermeier Waltershausen Doll house chair and foot stool. Auction is for both pieces. The chair arms wiggle a little, but are intact, the rest of the limbs are firm, there is a small blue spot in center of seat fabric, gold gilt has faded in a few spots, can't see any thing to mention about foot stool, please view all photos for condition. The chair measures 6 1/2" tall, and 3 1/4" wide at back widest area. The foot stool measures approx. 2 1/4" tall, 1 3/4" wide at seat.The pair have different fabric patterns,but are complimentary to each other. The stool is 18.75" tall and 12" across the seat. The velvet does have some wear. The threads in the sleeve for the adjusting screw, are worn, so the seat won't adjust up or down. Victorian Empire Mahogany Foot Stool/Ottoman~Flame Veneer~Ornate & Unusual
I bought this stool at an estate auction in Virginia about 20 years ago. And just loved its unusual shape. The wood looks to be flame veneer mahogany over pine. And is in good condition for its age with some minor chips. There is an old repaired break of one leg. But with 20 years of use it has never been a problem. Not really noticeable…see photos. It retains its original castors. This piece measures 17” high. And the cushion is 19” square. The top is upholstered in pink honeybee fabric which is ready to be replaced. In one area you can see the muslin underneath. Though it looks like it might be hard to reupholster. I think that if the fabric was carefully removed at the seams with a seam ripper, and the pieces used to make a pattern, it could be successfully reupholstered in an afternoon, with probably one or two of the side seams needing ... moreto be hand sewn. That was my plan, but we are downsizing to a smaller home, and I’ll leave the fabric selection and its renewal to someone else. The top is quite significant made and heavy(16 pounds) with a sturdy wood frame and lots of padding. While the base is only 7 pounds before boxing and packaging. This really is an amazing old antique stool. I am guessing mid 1800's. It is rather heavy. Solid wood, possibly Mahogany or? Cast iron legs with detailed design. Adjusting seat base, but is not currently working(see pics) Threads in the base see to be reamed out a little, but could be fixed. There is a water mark where I put my coffee cup by accident(see pics) but could be restained and fixed easily. Antique Industrial Piano Stool Steampunk Wood and Ornate Cast Iron Victorian
Up for auction is an Antique Industrial Stool. Made of wood and cast iron. It looks to be pre 1900, but I can't say for sure. It is in good condition and has the PERFECT patina. The center section is all wood and has 3 cast iron legs, the seat has the original wood. It looks like the seat cover has been professionally recovered, there are some cracks here and there, the bottom of the seat is separated at the factory seam- just needs clamped and glued. The cast iron is a bit rough and could be sand blasted to smooth it, but that is your preference. The seat is adjustable, one it is raised it gets a bit wobbly, but at the bottom it is nice and sturdy. It measures 19" at the lowest point and raises from there, the base of the feet is 15" wide, the seat is 13 3/4" wide. If you have any questions please ask. Thanks.

Really nice Victorian era Piano/pump organ stool. The seat is upholstered in a very exotic looking black with gold thread paisley material with a nice red Bullion fringe. The stool itself is wood and had been painted. This really should be used a decorative piece as the all wood ones do not hold up well to people sitting on them and pumping a pump organ. This has had some obvious repairs over the years. A HANDSOME 19th CENTURY VICTORIAN WALNUT FOOT STOOL In the ROCOCO or LOUIS XV STYLES of the 18th CENTURY FLORAL& FOLIAGE DECOR ELEMENTS. NICELY HAND-CARVED LEGS. FEET& STRETCHERS. ITALIAN MID to LATE 19th CENTURY. AS IS NEEDS A FAIRLY MINOR RESTORATION The end of one stretcher has been split. And lost a small piece of wood with no carving on its surface, which measures around 1 by 1/4 by 1/16 inches. See images& details near end of listing. GREAT PATINA/ORIGINAL FINISH. Offered is a very fine old(mid- to late-19th Century) Rococo-style Italian footstool. Approximately 15 by 12 by 9 inches. It weighs about 3 pounds, 5 ounces(1502 grams) Above is visible a very minor/wanna-be crack below and to the right of the blossom. Also visible in the following and my first images. I believe it's walnut. But my expertise regarding wood ... moreis quite limited, so. Poor placement of above nails does not show that the center one is substantially shorter than the other two; suggesting a hand-finished process? The above and two following images show the only notable flaw. The one I mentioned at the start of this listing. Note that the hand-carved pin is flawless. The split is quite clean, and the small section of lost wood has a flat, fully un-carved surface. CONDITION VERY GOOD PLUS, WITH ONE NOTEWORTHY FLAW, as clearly shown& described in 4th. 5th& 6th above pictures. Apparently should be disassembled& re-glued. But the original finish& patina should be fully salvageable if desired. One notable but fairly easily restorable flaw notwithstanding.
