Antique Victorian Walnut Ren Rev foot stool
Offered for auction is this wonderful walnut antique foot stool. The finish appears to be original and is very dark and rich in great condition. The 4 sides of the walnut frame have 4 burl veneered rectangular panels each with a scalloped drop element with a turned walnut medallion in the center. The legs have bulbous turnings at the tops of the legs and one of the turnings is missing part of the wood. At the top of each leg is the same turned medallion as on the frame. A few chips and cracks on the feet. All innards of the stool are horse/hog hair with cotton. No foam and shredded stuff is used. Seat is 14" high to the crown of the seat and 16" in diameter. A super look for any Victorian parlour. The orange covering was put on termporarily and is simply pinned on. You can remove and put your own covering on as needed.

This fine Victorian foot stool I think dates to between 1860 and 1880. The stool I think is made of walnut that has nice grain and colour and has nicely carved feet as seen in the photos, the stool has a pink silky type material which I think is a later replacement and could do with a light clean, the stool measures 12 inches diameter and 6 inches high, there is general minor wear and tear with age with a couple of small knocks and some wear to the braid on the edge of the material

RARE Antique VICTORIAN Era GOUT Footstool Foot Stool Rest 1800's Vintage Wooden
WOODENDECOR10 Presents A Victorian Era GOUT Footstool This item ships FREE FedEx Ground in the Continental U.S. This is an authentic Victorian Era GOUT footstool from the mid 1800's to the beginning of the 1900's. Its rare design was purposed for gentlemen with means as a way to relieve the pain of gout by lifting the foot at the ankle while not touching the foot. It is made of solid wood(I believe it to be walnut) With two handles on either end for easy positioning so as not to touch the foot, four carved wooden legs, and a straw padded tapestry or rug covered body. Here, this rust toned rug is edged with ornate trim and round tacks. I can not say whether it is the original rug or not though it certainly coincides with the time period. There is relatively minor wear on this piece for its age with some varnish wear, what looks like ... morelathe holes in the ends of the handles, some wear on the bottoms of the legs, and a superficial crack in the base that is not deep nor does it compromise the structure or stability of the footstool. Its as sturdy as ready to use today as it was over a hundred years ago. The rug is still in good shape, all tacks are present, and trim is in great condition. The footstool is a great historical piece for the collector with an interesting medical background. Similar pieces have sold for up to $250.00 in the past few months. Up for auction is this cool antique 6 legged stool. The legs are oak wood and have a unique shape. Wood legs have been stained. Of the 6 legs. 4 have some slight damage. Pics 4& 5 are of the same leg. This is the only leg that is split-this leg is also a little wobbly. The covering on top of the stool is vinyl. Pic#10 shows there were a couple of previous coverings. One looked like a velvet cloth brocade material. Stool stands 10" tall. Diameter of the top is 17" And diameter across the bottom of the legs is 18" Super cool 6 legged stool. ORNATE Antique 19th C Victorian Era Cast Iron FOOT STOOL Ottoman foot rest
I have up for sale a wonderful circa late 1800s Victorian Era Fancy Cast Iron Base Footstool. The castings are ornate and the paint appears to be the old original. The stool measures approx 14" square on the base. Approx 12" square on the top. The upholstery is older, I do not think it is the original but its older. It should be reupholstered and repadded. It has a scalloped top. And measures approx 14" x 14" x 7-1/4" tall and weighs about 9 lbs 10 ounces as you see it. The 14" is the base measurement, the top upholstered part is approx 12" across. The fancy cast base is quite beautiful. The paint appears to be original. Its with out question very old. The cast iron is in excellent shape, I notice one small crack, that has a repair on the back. This is a subtle crack that is only noticed when viewing with ... morescrutiny. My last few pics show the crack. In summation, this is an extremely minor imperfection and does not in any way compromise the structural integrity. Absolutely gorgeous Victorian heavy solid and chunky brass stool or stand. This gorgeous piece of furniture is as intricate and beautiful as it is unique. It is solid chunky and very heavy and is made from a really solid and thick brass(see picture 6) it is really built to last(no cheap thin brass here)and there is no reason it wont last at least another hundred years! It is in very good strong condition albeit with some age related marks and stains and although it would be easy to clean up I have left it exactly as it is due to the fact I feel this adds charcter and gives a real sense of age. Really nice Victorian era Piano/pump organ stool. You no doubt see these advertised on Ebay but they are always 3 foot models. This one has FOUR! I am guessing they thought it more stable. This has a very period appropriate paisley upholstery with a red fringe border. VERY VICTORIAN! This would be ideal for your music room, turkish parlor or even at a dressing table. Priced very fairly considering the re-upholstery and the rarity of its design. Antique Victorian Foot Stool,Walnut, Unique "Dog" Shape, Coffin Kneeling Stool
Up for auction one antique Victorian foot stool. This stool is an unusual design. Looks like a dog or some other animal in a kneeling position, head down, butt up. It is slanted forward and has a rolled part at the bottom to rest your heels on. There are three large protruding wood dowels on each side of the stool. The sides of the stool are joined together by means of wood slats which have than been covered with carpet. This carpet is not original to the stool. The stool measures 14-1/2 inches long, 11-1/2 inches wide, 7 inches high at the back and 5 inches high at the front. It weighs 4-1/2 pounds. There has been some repair work done on the stool, two of the slats have been replaced. This does not show under the carpet. Other than that it is nice and sturdy. On Feb-05-14 at 16:47:39 PST.
