Victorian needlepoint stool blue bird in floral tree
Measuring 16" x 11 1/2" x 8" high. The bluebird of happiness is spreading it's wings in the flowering tree centered on this stool. The background is a dark brown. The stool itself has seen some wear. perhaps they once had a puppy. The left side is scratched all along the bottom edge(see photos) as well as the back right leg is chewed. I have photographed this from every angle to show the wear. and age- no Old English used. but you can. The needlepoint is fine with no odors- if there were a puppy. It grew up and went to Heaven(All dogs go to heaven) long ago. I am selling this as-is so please know there is no return. Thank you

Antique Victorian Velvet Upholstered Cast Iron Vanity Bench Foot Stool Ottoman
This is an antique cast iron bench with dark forest green velvet upholstery. It has been reupholstered at some point and the fabric is in very good condition. Looks clean, does not have any tears or holes, the tacks that attach the fabric to the wooden seat are all intact and in good condition, and the trim is tightly woven with little to no obvious wear. The seat is heavy solid wood that seems sturdy. There are some age-related cracks in it that don't seem to weaken the seat at all. The cast iron legs are firmly attached with screws, and they are in very good condition with some minor scuffing and wear to the gold finish. Nothing is broken or missing. The bench seems a little high to be used as an ottoman. But I've seen others list it as one and that's what the antique dealer who found this thought it was. I think it would be ... morebetter suited as a bench, but might be used as an ottoman for a taller person. It measures 24" L x 11 1/2" W x 17" H. Victorian adjustable piano/organ stool with iron claw feet holding glass balls
Diameter of the top of the seat is about 15 inches across. Height of the stool at its lowest is about 19 and 3/4ths inches. And about 24 and 1/2 inches at its tallest, with the seat spinning easily. We had the seat recovered with heavy weight dark red velvet, and it was refinished before we bought it, with the finish left without any varnish or lacquer. The centers of the legs photograph lighter than they actually are.

Victorian Antique Organ Piano Bench or Vanity Stool Marsden English
This beautiful organ or piano bench was made in England. Most likely in the late 1800s, possibly very early 1900s. It is made of solid wood, which I believe to be mahogany. It has a beautiful rich medium tone, reddish brown in color. The wood has a beautiful grain which I have tried to capture in the photographs. Underneath the seat is a cast iron mechanism that allows the seat to be raised or lowered using the knobs on the side. The mechanism was made and patented by the Marsden company and is in perfect working order. The wood on the underside of the stool and part of the mechanism is stamped"Marsden's Patent LEEDS 542. See photos) The bench features splayed legs. With lovely turned designs. It is well made and very sturdy, suitable for daily use as a piano bench or vanity seat. The cushioned seat has been replaced and recovered ... morein a gold and beige fabric, but could easily be switched out to match your decor. It is in good condition, no stains. The bench weighs approximately 14 pounds. And measures 19 inches tall, 21 inches wide, and 14 inches deep. When raised to its maximum height it is 22 inches tall. CONDITION: This is an antique piece. And as such it does have signs of wear. There are small nicks and dents that do not affect the structural integrity of the piece(please see photos for examples. I feel these marks, which are visible only on close inspection, serve to further illustrate the true antique nature of the bench. There are no major damaged areas and no missing pieces. Manufactured identical to each other in every way except for the size! These two antique pieces are in good condition. Their age being well over 100 years! The full size footstool features cast iron legs that were plated. To appear as brass. The woolen fabric is in good"antique" condition with signs of wear, nothing major though. The wool cover underneath is intact with someone long ago having made a few minor repairs( as in re-tacking with nails) along the underside. Truly nothing major. See photos please. The ... morecast iron legs are on tight and are sturdy free of cracks. Rust etc. This stool measures approx 10 inches in diameter and stands about 5 and 1/2 inches high. Some of the writing on the bottom of the footstool has either worn off or it was never marked as clear as the tiny foot stool. What remains of the writing reads. The Letter"C" then Furniture Co, Allentown PA. The tiny salesman sample foot stool. Is about the size of a pin cushion but with feet. As you can see in the photos, there are 5 antique hat pins stuck in the top of it. I bought it this way. This stool was obvious a salesman sample for except for its size. Its identical to the full size foot stool. Same wool cloth, and style of legs. The legs are tiny sturdy tin or cast iron legs. Overall its in really good condition. Normal wear, without any holes, tears or repairs to the fabric on either the top or underside of the stool. The legs are sturdy. However one of the legs has a small wobble to it. These 4 turned legs were salvaged from a Victorian stool that was broken. They are 4-1/2" not counting the metal slider at the bottom and the screw at the top. I don't think they are walnut because the grain seems more open than walnut. But I'm not sure what wood they are.

The top appears to have springs with stuffing inside that gives it a nice firm but comfortable feel. It doesn't go"flat" when pressing on it and it springs back fine. The orange top coloring is bold and uniform and NOT faded like my lousy photos may show. From one family. It's in wonderful condition with ... moreNO fabric tears, rips or holes. Wood legs are strong and secure. NO wood cracks, chips or missing pieces. The top embroidery is strong and secure. All fabric edge and bottom covering tacks/pins are secure. The top fabric has a few small and light pulls here and there that isn't a big deal. The wood shows some small scattered scuffs and dings here and there. There's a very light 1/2" brown spot on the top and a couple light spots on the bottom fabric I'll let you tidy up. One leg may be a wee bit short and need a small shim to stabilize it. This has been kept very well over the years and is ready for use or display. IMPORTANT NOTE: I ship all my items once a week every FRIDAY. It is heavy. it has the dings and scrapes of 100 years or so of normal use, but seems very sturdy. from the underneath you can see a crack across 1 disc, i have not tried to repair, and it seems an old crack and shouldnt affect use. can be raised or lowered.highest is about 20.5' tall, that is the point at which i saw a thread begin.lowest about 18.5" tall.seat is 14.5" across. i think there is a newer nail in one of the claw feet, see pic.as for shipping i dont have a box yet so am estimating about 75.00 to west coast, about 30.00 east coast and somewhere between the 2 for everywhere else. please wait for an invoice at the end of the auction so i can determine exact shipping.

Very nice antique victorian foot stool with a fancy heavy cast iron antiqued gold reticulated base and a gold on gold brocade fabric cushioned top. Each leg has a raised relief raised flower medallion and outwardly curled feet. Measures 27" in height. Approximately 14" square. Material appears to have just been reupholstered so it is not the original. Cast iron base is in pristine condition. This foot stool is very heavy. Shipping is expensive. Offered from a local estate is a great& funky antique horn legged foot stool. This small primitive piece is different from every angle and would work as well as a stand for a piece of sculpture or a basket. As it would a foot stool. It is 8" square and the top retains what I believe is the original green velvet upholstery. Which is worn but still fairly supple. The horns are nailed and fairly sturdy. Though one is loose. And would probably benefit from glue. But as this looks original. I will leave that to the next owner. The backing is textured black paper of the kind often found on antique frames. I have for auction an estate find. This is a Cast Iron Foot Stool. The frame is cast iron and heavy with an ornate Scroll and Floral? design. The foot stool weighs over 14 pounds before packaging. The cushion most likely has been reupholstered in a tapestry fabric that is burgundy red& multicolored. It has been tacked/stapled on the underside to the board and then screwed to the frame. The cast iron was painted Red. I believe that is the original color and there is paint loss. I have shown each side. So please view the photos carefully. The approximate dimensions are 14" on each side& 6 1/2" tall to the frame. With the cushion on the stool is 8 1/2" high. I did not see any breaks or repairs in the cast iron.
