The legs have a gorgeous design with ornate patterns and lion claw feet. The bench has a fabric seat which has been covered in a French toile fabric. The toile depicts several French Country, rural scenes and is quite lovely. It features a burgundy background with muted colors in the patterns. The bench is in very good condition. A Beautiful and very Rare Victorian Walnut Courting Bench. Turned spindles with carvings. Professionally restored and re-upholstered with red velvet. It was made sometime in the late 1800's. The courting bench has a lot of history. As it was used when courtship was very formal. The bench was divided to keep the man and woman separated. It measures 3 feet long x 34" high and is 18" wide. The seat is 16" from the floor. I have owned this piece for over 45 years and it has been on display since then.

Old Vintage or Antique Victorian Gossip Bench Settee
This is a very beautiful victorian gossip bench! It has magnificent carvings all over and would look great in any home in just about any room or hallway. I cannot say exactly how old it is. But it is definitely many decades. Has small scuff/tear in bottom back side as seen in pictures. I believe it was probably recovered at some point, but I do not know. Also, the white portion of the handle is busted, but can easily be replaced if you choose to do so. Very minor issues in comparison to the elegant beauty this piece brings. Beautiful Antique Victorian Carved Mahogany Tapestry Cushion Bench
Up for auction is a beautiful victorian cushioned bench. It measures 44 1/2" L x 20" W x 17" H. It appeared to be made out of ornately carved mahogany or possibly cherry. The material is a mauve to rose color floral tapestry. The bottom material of the bench appears to be original. When you push on the springs it feels like there may be straw or horse hair stuffing inside. The wood and material are in excellent condition and the bench is well constructed. silverplate napkin ring featuring two delightful Dachshunds. This item is made of pewter overlaid with sterling silver. One Doxie is standind on his hind feet on a park bench while the other is standing on hind legs next to the bench. Behind the dogs is the actual standard size napkin ring. Circa 1860. The settle is constructed of solid oak panelled timbers. The back consists of five-raised fielded carved Tudor style inset panels. Further fielded panels are also visible to the bottom of the seat and the sides of the settle. The single lid in the seat is hinged with steel hinges. The inside of the box settle. Which is dry and clean, is ideal for storing shoes and wellies in the hallway. The settle boasts down swept shaped oak arms to the sides and pegged construction. The settle features the original polish and patination and thus the colour of this settle is superb. This item would look superb in a variety of rooms from the hallway. Dining room or kitchen. ANTIQUE HANDMADE VICTORIAN FOOTSTOOL BENCH SHOE SHINE BOX INSIDE WITH CONTENTS
This is a very unusual antique FOOTSTOOL with a SHOE SHINE BOX INSIDE. The box is also filled with several tools and a can of vintage DAZZLE TAN SHOW POLISH with some shoe polish still in it. There is also a wonderful shoe form that is affixed into the inside of the box with 2 screws. I believe it has the letters C& M on it! There are four shoe brushes. One is marked PARKS& PARKS ROYAL TROY. N. Y. and the other three are not marked. This footstool/shoeshine bx combination appears to have been hand made. The wood is either mahogany or walnut. But I am not certain. There is a very old piece of carpet type material on the top with brass tacks around the edge. One of which is missing. It measures 11" X 14" and is 14" tall. There is some cracks and splinters in the wood. see close-ups) but it is very much structurally strong.

Beautiful VTG Victorian Style Ottoman/Bench/Footstool/Hassock Wood Curved Legs
This is a vintage Bench Stool. Ottoman, with WOOD CURVED legs. Vintage style fabric with pretty green design is framed with a matching colored tassel to complete this ottoman and is in very good condition with tiny minor spots hardly noticeable. I think this type of fabric was popular in the 50's and 60's. It is VERY sturdy, heavy and is large enough to use as a bench for extra seating or rest your legs on. Very good condition.wood legs show minor wear from age and use, hardly worth mentioning. Any refinish is always left up to the new owner. My opinion is this has been reupholstered at some time and everything original could still be intact but I did not remove anything to be sure so that will also be left to new owner or some might want to reupholster and be surprised to see what might be underneath! This piece looks like it could ... morehave been handcrafted, again, that's my opinion. The stool is adjustable has great wood work and is walnut features great turned design and is in fabulous condition. The stool measures 23" high 18" across[side to side] and about 15" wide[ front to back] The original finish is in very good condition and the seat material is very clean as well. The manufacturing plate reads George W Archer Rochester NY and date of May 6 1873. A very clean antique for the collector.
