Vintage Hollywood Regency Vanity Stool Mid Century Modern Chair Bench Danish
I have other Mid Century items listed and more on the way. This is a cool vanity stool with metal base and wood handles Danish style. This has normal wear to the metal finish but it is solid and sturdy. The fabric could be replaced it does have a rip in it but not bad if you want to use it. The wood handles are nice and solid. These are quite popular right now from this era and always sell well. This is 24 tall and 23 wide.

The seat graduates from 19" in the back of the chair to approximately 22 and 1/2" in the front. The chair is approximately 15" deep and is 20" high in the back and 17" high in the front of the chair. The back of the wood seat has some nicks in the wood frame which I tried to highlight in the pictures. The seat itself is in excellent shape. Clear Lcite Vanity Bench From the 1970's we offer this clear lucite vanity bench in the Hollywood Regency style. It measures 19" high. 18 1/2" wide and 14" deep. The cushion seat has an amateurish upholstery job, but it's easy to replace with fabric of your choice. The lucite is in good condition except for some white discoloration on one side of the bench where the fabric is next to the lucite. The white area seems to be on or inside the lucite, not sure which. I tried to remove it with mild soap, but it didn't respond. I'm selling the bench"as is" no returns. Whether the white comes off or not, it's still a lovely bench.just a bit imperfect. A white fabric would"hide" the issue anyway. It will be disassembled to save money on shipping. Thanks for looking.

Bench was made in the USA by PASCO- Pacific Cage and Screen Co. A real piece of Hollywood Regency history. The pale pink vinyl is worn thin and has two small 1/4" tears on the side edge. They're not very noticeable- but it would be an easy thing to re-cover. There's spotty rust on the wrought iron gold tone metal, especially near the bottom of the frame and legs. Vintage Vanity Bench/Stool/Seat Mahogany 1940's Hollywood Regency
Seat is 17 3/4" high by 23 3/4" wide by 14" deep. Back height is 23 3/4" Leg spread is 24 3/4" wide by 18 3/8" deep. Tag has it being made by the Statesville Chair Co. It looks to be solid mahogany to me except for the center lattice that goes between the seat and the fancy grooved and turned rail. It has been reupholstered at some point in a heavy 50's type vinyl covering. You can still see the old upholstery along some of the edges if you look underneath. Age is around the 1940's give or take 10 years. Sound and solid with some old nicks and scratches that look to have been touched up whenever they redid the upholstery. A little fine white paint mist on it from someone getting some roller spatter on it but not much of it and it does clean off. Upholstery has no holes or tears but does have 2 light brown ... moremarks on it on the front right corner looking at it. It still feels nice and flexible. It needs a very large box to ship it in which gets charged dimensional weight. 27/27/21/15d s.Be a smart shopper and click on the all details link at the shipping cost portion of the page.
