2 Antique Cast Brass Glass Ball & Claw Feet for Piano Stool or Parlor Table
This is a pair of old ball and claw piano stool feet. These antique feet are cast brass with frosted glass marbles. Each foot is 3 1/2 inches long. The inside diameter of the ends is 3/4 inch. The marbles move freely inside the claws and are looser than most marbles in ball and claw feet. That is not a flaw. But it is unusual so we thought we'd mention it. There are two spots of paint on the one foot. The talons are not all the same length.

Cast iron& steel, swivel seats, round pedestal with 8" round bases, mounting holes present(mount to floor) each stand approx. 27 1/2" tall, swivel seats(simply rest inside pedestal) swivel seats(turn) with ease, each measure approx. 11 1/2" in diameter x 1 1/2" tall. Seats are all cast iron& steel, no wood. Each of the stools have a weight of 20 + lbs. Each have their original white enameled porcelain finish. Show no signs that they have ever been painted. Three of the screws in one of the seats appear as not original(as shown) Considering their age& in comparison to the others shown in research. These are in quite rarely seen, ... morewonderful condition, very sturdy, show some signs of age related wear to the porcelain finish, some loss of shine as well as scratches to the top of each seat. Some chipping is also present. One of the pedestals has an attached(by screw which can be removed) chrome finish ring which is broken off, which may have originally been some type of foot rest. Please note: dark blotches shown in the photos of the seat tops are only shadows. These were purchased from a local estate sale. Sold as both coming from a local area Drugstore dating in the 1920's. Adorable Vintage ICE CREAM PARLOR STOOL. Salesman Sample or Doll Size VINTAGE ICE CREAM PARLOR STOOL Adorable vintage miniature ice cream stool measuring 7-3/4" tall and 4" wide. Featuring four sturdy twisted wire legs with inset thick wood seat banded in metal nails holding the seat in place and serving as decoration. Uncertain of original intent. But someone suggested it was a salesman sample of a full size ice cream parlor stool due to the size. Well made, each leg is formed from two wires mounted into the underside of the wood seat- they are coiled at the ankle and a loop forms the foot- there is even an extra stabilizer wire horizontally banded around the base as shown. Bearing old cream paint and a natural wood seat, condition is very nice with no major damage- some chipping/rubs to the paint and seat has a slight warp on ... moreone edge- does not detract a bit. This is an Antique Cast Iron Swivel Base Soda Fountain Ice Cream Parlor Bar Stool. I purchased this about 17 years ago. Planning on using it in my kitchen dining area when we remodeled. It has been in my shop all this time. Honestly I forgot I even had it out there and found it while cleaning it out. It is a beautiful piece, with great detail around the bottom of the base. It is in perfect swiveling condition. It has the holes to bolt down if you like, but it is not necessary to bolt it down. It will stand without falling. It was originally use in a ice cream parlor. You don't necessary have to use it for a stool. There are so many other creative uses for this case iron base. I have seen others, but none with the cool detail design around the bottom of the base, that's rare! It is inches tall. It is 2 feet tall.

1880's Kranich & Bach Empire Brazilian Rosewood Parlor Grand Piano w/ Stool
Kranich& Bach Empire Revival Victorian Brazilian Rosewood Parlor Grand Piano with Stool Not many Kranich& Bach pianos like this were made. Rare Art Case piece of furniture made sometime between 1885-1889 The beautiful piano is unique with original satin finish on the case. This wonderful instrument is a classic example of the heavy and bold carved rosewood of the Empire Revival influence popular in the late 19th Century of Victorian Style and was made between the 1870 to 1880s. It is Brazilian Rosewood and in great condition. Kranich& Bach rethought the standard piano action and improved it. Which gives it an elegant sound- rich warm mellow tone. All keys intact and working. The beautiful keys are creamy white in color have a great touch and a nice feel on the fingers. The original ivory keys were probably replaced in the late ... more40s to early 50s. Just by looking at the quality. The black keys are the original ebony keys. The strings were probably replaced at the same time as the keys. The music stand has intricate delicate cutwork. That will lay down flat with matching sides. There is a lock. But no key. The legs were probably contracted out to be made by someone else. Maybe Kimel and Cabus due to the lines and large rosettes on each leg or Thomas Brooks of Cincinnati who made similar rosettes and lines. The harp is painted gold and still shows a faint hand painted scroll pattern on the sides of the bars. This piano is unusual in size as most grand pianos of this era were at least 6'4" in length. the baby grand sizes didn't become popular until well after the turn-of-the-century. Part of the unique charm of this piano is that it has a very bold and masculine appearance. Yet is rather small in actual size. This piano measures 71" 5'11" from front to back. Nearly 6' It is 54 1/2" wide. When the lid is closed it is 39 1/4" tall. The original bench was not available when we purchased the piano. The bench pictured is included.
