This is a 50's Toledo Stand on casters. This stand has been spray painted(years ago) a pale pink color. Stand measures 31"w x 16"d x 26"h. Drawer measures 13 1/4"d x 10"w x 1"h. Africa Additional Information: This female figure is sitting on four-leg circular stool. ... moreThe figure's legs extend the front legs of the stool. The figure is carving in the stylistic lines of the Senufo. This figure wears a necklace and a waist belt made of rope. Senufo figures were used during different ceremonies and unless one knows the specific context of the figure it is often difficult to name the specific use and name of the figure. However what is presented is a mature woman recognized here by her breasts. Facial expression, body scarification, and hairstyle. Figures such as this may have been commissioned by the male âPoro Societyâ or the female âTykpa(Tykepa) Society, both which were concerned with initiations, funerals and social control. She may also have been a Yasungo, a shrine figure or one of a male-female pair representing the first couple known as âKasingeleâ. 4 Antique Indian Face Head Dress Cast Iron 2" Glass Ball Claw Stool Table Legs
This is an antique lot of four matching ball and claw cast iron and glass ball stool or table feet that are true survivors. Very old these have what appears to us to be an Indian Head with Feather Head Dress in cast iron and the glass ball portion is a little under 2" across. The one glass ball has most of the inclusions that are still intact I can only feel one of the chips missing the rest can be seen but not felt. These glass balls and show inclusions to each glass ball. Not sure what is factory made and what was from decades if not a century of use. The top of the leg where the taper goes in is around 1" wide and overall each leg is nearly 5" long. All four have no finish on them and are as found with some cool original patina that is surface rust and none is actually damaged in any way. Vtg. Industrial Toledo Stool with swivel seat and adjustable in height. Great earlier Toledo label as pictured. This stool measures 22" 26 1/2" adjustable height. Seat measures 16" w x 14" d. and has a 16" dia. foot ring. Original height adjustment spring is missing and has been replaced by newer one. The feet on this stool are worn, all four balls are fully intact along with rings but the bottom has worn out. This stool is military green in color showing use with random paint splatter on its seat. Great stool overall.

Lovely looking stool in excellent condition. Although I have listed the stool in victorian. I think the balustraded legs have more of a Georgian look to them? I really don't know the true age of this item. Though I am pretty certain it is old and original. Would suit an artist, weaver or lace maker ect. I have looked through ebay pages and cant find any similar. Measures approximately 67.5cm high and 37cm square at the bottom legs and 32cm square at top seat. The claw feet are huge and authentically very old. They are not newer made to look old. The claws are cast iron and have faces on each one and the crystal balls are about the size of baseballs. Probably dates to the 1940s to 1950s. Measuring 21" long. 17" tall and 13" wide, we believe it is a vanity seat. It could also function as a foor stool or small side bench. It has a stretcher base support. With black background. The needlepoint floral design stands out. When looked at with flash, there does appear to be additions to both ends as this large canvas was adapted from possibly a chair seat to the bench seat. Not obvious, otherwise.

VINTAGE HAND MADE MORROCAN RED/WHITE LEATHER & WOOD STOOL W/ BRASS TACKS
Up for sale is a vintage highly decorated leather and wood footstool. I believe it is from Morocco. The longest part of the stool is 16” in length. It is 9 ½” in height and 9” wide. It is stool decorated with white and red leather sewn. The wooden part is hand made and each leg is decorated with brass tacks and some gold trimming. Two of the wood leg tops next to the cushion are decorated with brass tacks and some type of animal hair. See picture#4. The stool weighs 4 lbs. 6 ozs. as reflected in the shipping costs) There is a corner of the cushion part that has a leather tear. See picture# 9. Otherwise it is in good shape. AAFA Handmade and Painted All Original Gout Stool~Rose Head Nails~
Really beautiful old treasure! These were considered"medicinal" back in the day as they were used to take pressure off painful joints and such when seated. This is handmade as seen in the scroll work on the bottom edge and the graceful roll of the top and the original stenciling. Outside has rose head nails and the center portion which would have originally been covered with fabric sports what seem to be hand hewn nails as the heads are varying sizes as per pics# 6-7. I have always used this with the wood showing as the slats are interesting with their different hues of age. Does show age appropriate wear. But displays beautifully. Measures 16 X 11 x 7.

Up for your consideration is this great pair of original vintage Hollywood Regency upholstered benches. These are unmarked however are usually attributed to Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin furniture. The pair is in excellent structural condition with no damage to the original grey upholstery. The top interior cushions have softened over time and this has led to the pillow top portion of the benches to be slightly loose. This doesn't detract too much from the aesthetic appeal of the pair. But they could stand to be replaced. Otherwise excellent, clean condition. One of the benches has had its underside lining removed as seen in the photos. Here we have an antique mahogany constructed screw seat piano or organ stool made by the A. Merriam Company(they made pianos as well) based out of South Acton. Mass.the stool dates back to the 1890s, is very well made, sits very sturdy on the floor with no rocking.some of the features are: seat adjusts from 19" 23"using a hardened steel jack screw to spin the seat up/down. Seat is 14.5" diameter- has brass eagle claw feet.inbetween the talons is a solid crystal glass ball.all these are in nice shape- all spindles and supports are tight. Stool was never glued or obviously repaired- the bracket underneath the seat that secures the seat to the jack screw is in mint condition. Has no cracks or any other repair work done. Circa 1900 Gout Stool with embroider foot. Very old and very pretty Look!
You are bidding on an old gout stool. My dad says they use to roll gout foot on it to sooth the pain from Gout. I dont know how much of that I beleive but here it is. By the look of the carpentry and the embroider on it I believe it is very old and probably is alot older than I listed by the look of it. It has dark tacts on it that are hand pounded or made. They are not smooth but show that they are hand made. It was my mothers and she had it for a long long time. She loved antiques and I remember it when I was a kid at the foot of her bed. I am selling it for my dad now that my mother is gone. I hope you like it. The embroider is a phesant I think. 11 1/2" tall and 21" wide. It is actually very pretty. Melvin Bancroft Ball and Claw Piano Stool with Wood Seat Well MA Here is a beautiful Victorian period piano stool. A nicely don ball and claw leg one. Beautiful woodwork on this one. All the wood is there. Except for a finial that was probably in the middle bottom turned section. I see no cracks or splits in the seat. The piece of wood the legs go into has a seam showing, but does not appear to be loose when tugged upon. Also a knothole in the same piece where the wood came out of it. There is some sort of black stuff on the seat that I did not attempt to remove. I just wipe the furniture I gather with orange oil and then apply a polish to rehydrate the wood. Nice metal, maybe brass, claws that are still tightly affixed to the stool as are the glass balls that sit in them. Some of the paper label is still on the underside of the stool. Vintage Mid Century Modern TEAK OTTOMAN Up for auction is this beautiful vintage 1950's teak wood ottoman for a lounge chair. The l ounge chair in the photo does not match the ottoman and is not included. It is one of a matching pair of ottomans. So you can buy one, or both for two times the money. The only difference in the second one(not shown) is it has tears in the fabric. Photos will b e provided on request. The fabric top tilts up to a slight angle for leg support. Nice feature. It measures approximately 24" wide x 18" deep x 14" high. While there are no tears in the tweed fabric, it should probably be replaced in a color and fabric to match your decor. This very old foot stool is very sturdy and beautiful but has been repaired. One of the wooden handles had been broken off and was glued back together by someone. Also the woven fabric trim needs to be replaced(see photo 8) And it leaks sawdust. This feels like it was stuffed with sawdust or excelsior. There are small dents and dings in the wood as you would expect from a piece as old as this. The low loop hooked rug is in great condition with very little fading or wear, and has a lot of detail in the flowers and leaves. The background is red and black, making it look burgundy or maroon. The roses are shades of pink and the smaller flowers are light blue with yellow centers. Please see the other items I have listed. VINTAGE SPANISH BIRTHING CHAIR - STOOL
Up for auction is a Vintage Spanish Birthing Stool. I am not an expert in the field of antique Spanish furniture. All I can say is a close friend brought this chair back from Spain in the late 1950-1960's. That in itself would make it vintage. But how much older than that I have no idea. The birthing stool came into use when male physicians began to oversee deliveries. Spain, being a strict Roman Catholic nation, held the belief that male physicians should not see area of a woman's anatomy that is exposed during child birth.
