Up for auction is an antique foot stool. The top comes off to use for storage underneath. It measures 19 long x 10 wide x 10 1/2 tall. Some wood cracks and chips. But foot stool seems very solid. I believe the wood is OAK. The bottom is made of some other type of wood. I took close up shots of the woods so you can see it for yourself and make you own judgement. Antique c 1700 William & Mary English Oak Joint Stool-Childs or Foot Stool
A William& Mary period oak joint stool measuring about 16 7/8” tall. 14.5” long, and 12” wide. This shorter size piece would have been a child's chair, or used as a foot stool. The woman I purchased this from acquired it from a professor friend of hers in Pennsylvania. It features pegged construction. With old forged rose-cut nails attaching the top. Said top is cracked and swayed, and has pulled away from the skirt, so if a replacement(as is often found with these) it was done many years ago. It is otherwise sound throughout, with scattered wear as pictured. The previous owner put felt pads on the bottom of the feet, but these could certainly be removed if desired. Child-Size Mission Oak Style Foot Stool, Real Oak, Real Leather, Made by Me.
This stool is like new. However, it was sold and returned, as the buyer thought it was bigger and so that was that. It is a child-size, smaller stool, measuring approximately 9" by 13" and stands 8" tall. Made of red oak, stained golden oak, all joints are glued and dowelled and is extremely sturdy. Small Oak Foot Stool W Tapestry Top & Matching Throw Pillow
This auction is for an Oak Foot Stool with a Tapestry top& matching Throw Pillow. The foot stool measures approximately 12" x 12" and is 11 1/2" tall. The base is solid oak and very sturdy. The tapestry top removes and is wrapped around hard board with a finished back. The matching throw pillow can also be used on the foot stool for even more cushioning. The pillow is approximately 11 x 12 pillow. The back of the pillow is a very dark green- almost black. Both pieces are in very good condition.

Vintage foot stool made from oak. Seat is canvas/fabric with leather trim( Brass caps on each end. Cross braces on bottom for stability. Measures 14" x 14" x 17 3/4" high. All hardware is sturdy and in good working order. Back of seat has printed initials"MCC" and some white stitching that I can't make out. Seat has a 3/8" bare spot and leather trim shows wear. We are offering an beautiful handmade Oak footstool. It is 14 inches tall. 17 1/4 inches across the top from handle to handle. It is 14 3/4 inches across the middle and 17 inches across the bottom legs. It is 10 inches wide and the under foot rest storage is 4 inches deep. I don't know the age of the stool but it is put together with screws and the upholstery tacks are older. The foot rest appears to be leather but I can't say for sure. What attracted me to the stool was the beautiful curve of the legs. It had to be a huge piece of oak. The stool is very sturdy and we can find no cracks or repairs on the stool. The original Leather top is 9 1/4 inches by 15 1/4 inches. It is good condition very sturdy with a few scuffs and scratches and a small patch on the leather that looks like there was a label or tape on it a one time( pictures 11 and 12) it only shows up in the bright sun light. It was obviously designed to stand up to a heavy workload. But the stool has seen its share of use over the years. There are small saw marks in a couple places on the seat edge. The seat has apparently come loose at some time in the past and been reattached with L-brackets. Although this may not be original, it is very sturdy. The foot ring does have a split in it. These things can be observed in the photos. The chair could be restored by a skilled woodworker. Approximately 28” tall x 15” square. Please examine the photos closely and email any questions. There are some small chips at the foot areas but otherwise just normal surface wear. The leather top is worn and also has tiny paint dots here and there. This 19th century foot stool or bench comes from my own 35 year collection. It is made of Oak with wonderful hand carved legs that are wood pegged into the body(Photos# 8 and# 9) which was painted brown and decorated with red flowers and green leaves. It measures 6 1/4" high with a 2 1/4" apron and the top measures 10 1/2" by 10 3/8" with a 3/4" wide by 1/4" thick border which is held by small round head nails. Although I purchased this at a local Antique Flea Market. It reminds me of some Anglo Indian pieces that I've seen but I am unsure of it's actual origin. It is in good to very good used condition with some cracks in the top, nicks throughout and the paint decoration is s little worn.
