But i am not sure, could be the ... moreearly 1900s?There are no markings on it that i can see. The Hall Tree is in excellent condition, is very solid, and has a nice aged Patina look. It is about 82-3/4" tall, 24 to 26" wide(at different levels) and 15" deep. The Beveled Mirror is about 17 1/4" wide and 35" high and in very good condition for its age. There are 6 Coat, Cap Hooks, the two on top are Butterfly Hooks( unusual& rare) see picture 5, I have never seen these before or after we got this one) I don't know if they were on the Hall Tree from day one or if someone added them later, they are old and they compliment the attractive decorative carvings on top, plus they do match the cutout pattern above the seat perfectly.see picture 3) The Bench Seat has storage space under the lid. There are no major issues with the Hall Tree. Please get in touch if you have any questions or would like to see it. I am offering this as local pickup only. This classic victorian style piano stool is very pretty. And would make a great restoration project. The bottom frame is composed of cast iron. It is beautifully engraved and features three gorgeous twisted legs that add volumes to the overall style. The seat portion appears to be made of pine. It looks as if it was just the base that a padded cushion or covering was glued to. You can see some of the left over residue from this in the pictures. The cast iron portion is in great shape, with no dents, dings or bends whatsoever. The part that adjust spins up and down quite smoothly. There is light surface rust in a few places that should be very easy to remove. It is around 18" tall, and the legs are 18" apart at there widest points. This is a very nice piece! Antique 1899 Kimball Upright Piano w/ bench Tiger Oak Gorgeous Must See!
I am selling my antique Kimball upright piano as I need to make room for a home remodel. This is a stunning piano- gorgeous tiger oak with lovely patterns in the wood grain. And leafy wood carving designs on the front. All the keys are in nice shape. As soon as anyone walks in my front door, they comment how beautiful this piano is! The piano measures 59 1/4" high. 63" wide, and 27" deep. The previous owner had d o n e some restoration on the finish I am not an expert and didn't want to attempt any refinishing on my own. The wood is bare and natural; on the inside you can see the previous dark finish-probably from linseed oil. There is a small dark ring from a candle( on the top that could bee removed with wood lightener; there is some veneer on the ends of the body near the keyboard that has chipped off but could be replaced. ... moreAnd near the front feet. A couple of small trim pieces on the bench need to be replaced and could be found a t your local home improvement store. Overall a gorgeous piano- sounds nice- all of the keys are int act. I n nice shape- beautiful color with no stains. Ch ips cracks or d iscoloration and only one sticks slightly but could be easily taken care of when tuning(after a piano is moved it pretty much always needs tuning The foot pedals could use some polish but work fine. There are 6 of the original coat hooks and the beveled mirror has NOT been resilvered. The hall tree is from the Arts& Crafts era. Early 1900s. in good original condition. The base does not have the lift up seat. The drip pan is not original, but works very well. The beveled mirror needs to be resilverd or replaced($45) Stands about 80 inches tall AND is 21 inches wide, not counting the umbrella holder. This is a listing is for the 5 5" wide wide antique oak church pew bench that is pictured for you. The bench is in the original finish; I have gone over it with Old English to cover over scratches from the 100 + years of usage. The bench is completely authentic and is an attractive looking piece that would look great in your family room. Entry way, on your porch or patio, in a sun room, in an office or reception area, or just about anywhere seating you would like to place them. It is 5 5" wide. The end panels are 3 4" high. When placed against the wall. The bench will extend out into the room 2 2" There is a slight curvature to the bench that you can see in the picture. As you might expect. for sale is a very large quartersawn oak hall tree or hall bench with a mirror big enough to be called a pier mirror. it has very nice quartersawn flake throughout the entire piece. mirror is original and is beveled and shows a tiny big of silver loss and some smokiness. it has nice carvings at various places that can be seen. it has neat arms and arm supports that are very thick. The result was a lustrous design that came to signify Hitchcock's work. Pin striping was done with paint though never in gold. Striping was of yellow ocher. Gold was reserved for the banding which went only half way around the turns in the legs. By 1825 the company had a new home in a spacious three story brick factory. Built near the old one. And Hitchcock had started labeling his chairs with an identifying stencil. ANTIQUE 9-1/2" TOP-OF-STACK OAK WOOD FOOTSTOOL This sale is for an old small Top of the Stack oak wood footstool that was recently removed from an estate in the Cumberland Valley of Pennsylvania. It is shown as the top stool in a group picture with an average size stool to indicate its relative small size. It measures 9-1/2" long x 4-1/2" wide x 4-3/4" tall. It features nicely scalloped double aprons. Rounded bootjack legs with cut-outs, and nice worn finish on all surfaces. It remains in good condition. It does show the normal imperfections of old primitive footstools including tight separations. Partially exposed nails on the underside of the top and missing slivers of wood. Antique Oak Chautaugua Industrial Art Desk with Matching Bench School Learning
Antique oak Lewis and Myers school desk/learning center. Dated 1923 and manufactured in Valparaiso. Indiana. I also have the accompanying seat that completes this set. The top of the desk features an American Resources Map with area, population, mining, and manufacturing. From what I can tell the paper is cloth, somewhat distressed with a few minor stains. Top measures 21 1/2"X 17 1/4" Unopened height is 26 1/2" tall and stands on 2 adjustable legs that are adjusted by thumb screws. The desk also features a slide out drawer, desk top also slides rear-ward to reveal yet another desk top. The first top with map and sliding top is removable or locked in place with a sliding pin to lock in place. The Oak bench measures 15 1/4" in length by 7 1/2" in width, and is also adjustable in height styled exactly like the desk ... morewith thumb screw type adjustment. In the full up position it measures 14" full down position is approx. 10" in height. When the top is opened it reveals operating instructions for each child, shelf type compartments on both sides and a compartment in the center for writing materials I would guess. This auction is for a wonderful old heavily carved oak bench from Scotland. It's a head turning doll. There is lot's& lots of carving on this bench. The patina is a beautiful dark oak. It's stable. Sturdy and quite heavy. It's put together with wooden"pegs" with a few of the older"flathead screws" and a few extra nails added from over the years. The craftsmanship on both the carving and the making of this bench is just wonderful, we seldom see items this old, this well made and still in good condition at anywhere what I would call a reasonable or affordable price. For your consideration is this antique mission oak bench or footstool. It is made of quartersawn oak and retains it's original finish. It features nicely shaped and cut out end panels with keyed tenons. The top shows remnants of an oilcloth or leatherette seat cover. It is stamped with the number 408 underneath. It measures 18 1/2" long overall. 15" tall and 12" deep. Everything remains in very nice as found condition.
