There are no tears/rips on the vinyl but may be some light wear from age(closeup pic) Danish walnut wood legs look great! The chrome on the foot rest is rusted but I believe they will clean up. I just wiped them off and the rust started to wipe off. Brass feet look great and not tarnished. The color of chairs is alittle darker than pictured because of lighting. Vintage Wood 37" Stools, Thonet Mid Century Modern
Beautiful pair of wood stools. The pair show signs of age. There are scratches. And scuffs on the surface of both chairs. One chair has a chip on the base of it's leg. The stools stand 37" tall. The chairs are unmarked although they are stamped'Made in Czechoslavakia' and the letter'K' Along with the lines of the chair. The stamping is also similar to how Thonet's chairs were marked- the K standing for Korycany the town in Moravia in the Czech Republic where the chairs were made. There is some minimal wear to the foam inside the cushion seat and one has a tack missing from a underside corner as pictured. The stools have a chrome base. Some light wear as pictured. One note, one has clear round feet, the other two are a dark color. The stools seats are 24 1/2 inches high x 13 square. The backs are 38 1/2 inches to the top; the wood slat backs measure 11 1/2 high x 13 1/2 wide. Some light scuffs to the slats. A bit of Old English will take care of this. These bar stools are all in good sturdy condition but they do have some wear on the top and one of them has a broken screw at the bottom that secures the footrest to the chair. I'm not sure of the exact age of these and they look a bit newer than the mid century ones. They are stackable and each one measures 29 1/2 inches tall. 13 inches in diameter across the tops. These are in excellent condition with the exception of a few spots of minor damage on the caned backrests. See photos of the close ups of the backrests for details. Two of the chairs have little areas of unravel along the top bar of the backrest. One has been glued by a previous owner. You could redo the small areas for perfection. But they are useable as is and the damage isn't progressing. The backrests also have a few tiny breaks within the weaving. These are hard to spot and in no way affect the strength of the backrest. They are old! Revolving swivel seats spin smoothly. Cloth fabric is clean and undamaged. Probably not original but color works with color of bamboo or easy recover. Foam cushions are good. These are 4 fantastic mid century swivel stools with original vinyl seats. I cannot identify the maker but would love to know if you know who it is. It has the same bottom as the Eames chair and the wood is beautiful. The vinyl is has a few dings here and there- I had to hold myself back from redoing them while I refinished the rest of the chairs. They swivel perfectly and that said. I made sure not to just turn the seats when I took a picture from the back. So, you can see all sides! I have set the reserve fairly low. I am happy to ship these if you figure it out and can send someone to pick them up. The dimensions are 29 to the seat bottom. 46 to the back and 21 at the widest part of the seat. I love eBay. Pair Vintage Cosco Eames Mad Men Sputnik Era Mid Century Modern Retro Stools
Your bid is for this Great Looking. As Found Pair of Eames, Mad Men, Sputnik, Era- Retro. Mid Century Modern Cosco Stools! Sorry I just don't where to stop when describing the varied decors these great looking stools will fit into. They measure 29 1/2" tall. With 13" diameter seat, a 14 1/2" diameter footrest at 12" high and a 4 1/2" diameter neck ring. They are in good vintage condition, with some light surface rust on the chrome footrests and screws and also on the legs near the bottom feet. I have done nothing but a light damp cloth wipe down for the pictures. The scotch pattern vinyl seats are in very good condition. One having a light stain, shown in a close-up of the seat. These are ready to go into your modern decor home as is. Or do some light touch-up, or they would be a very easy complete restoration ... moreproject as they will be dis-assembled to save costs on shipping. 4 Vintage Mid century Hairpin Stools
For sale are 4 Mid Century Hairpin leg stools. They are 30" high with the present vinyl seat. The seats are crunchy and should be replaced. The height to the top of the base is 27" The foot rest is 14 1/2" wide. The bases are painted black metal with rough welds. Nice mid century example.
