Very nice pair of Mid Century(1970s) 30" bar/counter stools. The pair were made in Canton. Mississippi by Gilbert& Ryan, Inc(very nice furniture manufacturers) They feature turned wood legs with a dark stain. They have a chrome support bracket that fits around the legs. They also have chrome floor glides under each leg. The seats are very nice and feature a medium brown vinyl fabric with a golden vein that gives the pair a tortoise shell look. The pair are in good condition with some minor scuffs on the legs that can be easily resolved with a little dark stain. The vinyl is good with no rips, tears, etc. The padding is also good and the stools are comfortable. Each stool measures 15" wide at the lower legs. The seats have a 15" diameter. Hello all. Here's a REALLY cool set of mid century hairpin leg barstools that absolutely scream the era. They are 29" high and feature gold metal hairpin legs that are solid with no breaks or loose welds. Just flaked off gold paint from the foot rest rings. The 12" round seats are covered in a very era-correct cream vinyl with silver and gold streaks running all over, and a shiny gold piping. The vinyl is in remarkably good shape with no rips or tears/punctures etc. I think however, the wood screws that hold the cushions on have been rotated to secure it to"fresh" plywood, when the screw holes loosened over time.I weigh around 215 lbs. and sat and spun around in these and they feel solid, even though the center spin peg/bearings feel a little loose. Vintage Ethan Allen ? Stackable Nesting Ottoman Foot Stools Mid-Century
This is a nice set of four stacking foot stools or ottomans. I believe they are Ethan Allen pieces but they are not marked other than being numbered 1-4. They each measure about 17" square and are 7.5" tall. They are wood with vinyl cushion tops. They are in great vintage condition. Sturdy frames and legs, and vinyl has no holes, rips, or repairs that I can see. Some light scratches on wood and slight wear and scuffs in vinyl but no tears. I did not include pictures of the bottoms of all the stools to keep the count to 12 pictures, but they all are numbered. The green cover(1) has a small discoloration in one corner. I have tried to show this in a picture. Rubber pads on feet. The reddish cover(2) has rubber pads on feet. The light tan cover(3) has rubber pads on feet. The tan cover(4) has"splotches" that look like a spill ... morewas not wiped up right away. And a small curved line marking that looks like part of the top part of the vinyl has worn off. Amazing vintage Atomic Mid-Century Formica bar & 2 stools - super cool & kitsch!
Amazing mid century formica bar on black metal(iron) legs. With decorative vinyl forms on the front. 50s atomic kitsch at its best! In great shape for its age, just some minor wear to the top surface, mostly to the right side. May polish up but still looks great as is. Top shelf has masonite doors for glasses storage and a built in bottle opener and towel rack. Bottom shelf is open for booze storage. Matching turquoise vinyl stools also in excellent condition although one has lost 2 of its disc feet(probably replaceable from a hardware store) One disc foot is loose on the other chair. Vintage DECO Aluminum Stools-PAIR!-Mid Century Modern-1940's-Machine Age-Restore
Matching pair of aluminum tube stools. Probably made right after WWII to early 1950's. Both in the same good solid condition. No cracks. Dents, crushed tubing. deep gouges, or deep pitting. Original anodized finished is covered with surface corrosion. Metal is thick gauge and it would be a straightforward process to sand and polish to a mirror finish. Everything comes apart so each stool is 4 legs and 2 rungs. Original hardware needs to replaced. Stainless hardware store items. Stools sit square and have no rocking to legs. Seat tops have cheap vinyl covers. Bases need to be replaced but that is straightforward for good upholstery shop. Stool legs measure 29" with seats. These seats are another 2" higher. Footprint of legs is 16" by 16" Rungs are single piece of tubing that has a seam with a piece of wood riveted inside. ... moreThese 4 joints are all OK and solid. Very cool vintage Arthur Umanoff Bar Stools set. The stools are in great shape and swivel a full 360 degrees. Black vinyl upholstery is very nice. No holes or tears. The only condition issues are many of the rubber skid protectors have deteriorated from the feet and some of the black iron coating has worn off which is not very noticeable considering the iron itself is almost black. Circa 1960's Welded Wrought iron bar stools 12" wicker rattan tops 24" height Very strong. 14" square at base Restored(painted fresh) An excellent set of 4 bat stools which are heavy 3/8" iron. Wicker cane seats woven. Perfect for outdoor use or indoors too. With the 4 foot rests at two different heights it makes these versatile but also incredibly strong. Recently repainted and they look great. Very strong with steel spider support beneath top wicker. Some wicker shows wear with a few breaks etc. And one is a darker color(was the stool that was at the top of the pile as these stack) These will be sent FedEx.
