Up for sale is a great pair of Mid Century Ottomans Designed by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin. This is a unique style ottoman on casters. And very comfortable. These seem to be very high quality materials and construction. We are changing the decore at our new place and some things have to go. They are in good shape, not perfect but no issues. Every time you move them or put your hand on one the velour fabric changes color or leaves marks. Brush it one direction dark, other way lighter. The fabric is a velvet or velvety like velour, and the color is a Rose type color. Ottomans are clean and come from a smoke free pet free home. There are no stains to mention, maybe an area or two that is slightly darker or lighter from different angles, but not stains. This is a pair of original Danish Modern/Mid Century Modern(walnut or teak) USA crafted and excellently constructed Eames Panton era swivel barstools- done in black naugahyde(possibly leather) With circular chrome footrests. They are in perfect functional condition, swiveling effortlessly; the foam insides are original but not flattened out or problematic. There are some paint scrapes on the bottom parts of the legs and the back of the seats that will come out with a little elbow grease or extra fine steel wool. There are a couple of pinholes in the seats that I can barely photograph. In other words, these are nearly in perfect and original condition. A little dusty as they have been in storage and not used for five years. I bought them because they were in such good, strong shape and I was going to reupholster them. Up for consideration is a set of 4 Vintage Bentwood high back Atomic Ranch Bar Stools with biomorphic free form original textured Naugahyde covering in an off orange color. The Stools measure 41 1/2 inches tall by about 18 inches wide at their widest point by 19 inches deep with a seat height of 30 1/2 inches tall. The chairs are unmarked. Trio Bar Stools- Arthur Umanoff 41" tall. Seat Height 24-25" foot rest 8" Seats 16" wide Circa 1960's For sale are three stools by Arthur Umanoff. They feature the non-swivel version seats. They are bold and elegant and provide a great seat to sit upon- which I have found more comfortable than the slat seats. Personally, and at 16" diameter is just right. Note there are two tones used in the seats. They are in vintage condition with minor marks and loss of enamel to wrought iron frame. The feet are in excellent condition with just a small piece of one fo the twelve feet being damaged. The frames are 100% welded so there is no"dismantling" of them other than the back rests and seats. So shipping will be needed via greyhound to make this economical. I'm not sure the age of the piece but I believe VanSciver was an American company in business from 1881 to the 1970's. It has a cool black vinyl front with orange accents in the top and stools. If you like that Danish inspired. Midcentury look this is would be a great addition to your bar or man cave. Its retro and chic! The back has one shelf and a storage area with two sliding doors. The piece is in good shape with the expected signs of age.
