I believe this was manufactured piece, although no makers tag or marking found, not a home craft/hobby build, but at some point it was reupholstered by a novice in the current rust orange tone vinyl. I consider this a re-upholstery piece, as the upholstery has imperfections such as spots, scrapes, and a few small tears and home repairs and you will want new foam cushions too because of age. Looks like previous owner spray painted legs black while legs were still attached. Great foundation to work with, ready for buyer's make-over. DESCRIPTION: Vintage low Asian-style bench manufactured by Leonard of California. Inc. original tag attached underneath) It has a black painted wood base, thick tufted green cushion with 4 gold tassels attached at the corners, reminiscent of James Mont style. It also has 6 big round buttons underneath the base(in the same fabric) It measures 40L x 20W x 14" tall(from the floor to the top of the cushion, approximately) Good original vintage condition. There are some nicks, scrapes, indentations to the wood base, and white colored marks to the lower part of the feet. Most of these could either be filled in a little or touched up a bit with some black paint. The white marks could probably be removed with a little bit of cleaning. A few light spots to the cushion, which are hardly noticeable, and possibly some light fading, but it's ... morea little difficult to tell for sure since the bottom half of the cushion looks the same color as the top half. There is a 1-1/2" area of fabric fraying or separation underneath the seam on one side.we didn't notice this until we turned the bench upside down, but it still seems to be holding together okay. It could always be re-upholstered, if desired, or left as is since the fabric looks in pretty decent shape. you are bidding on a bench designed by milo baughman for glenn of california. it is the hard to find 7' long version. it had a small piece of marble on it at one point and it looks like some water got underneath. there is some discoloration from this. Maple burl wood 2 inch thick slab mid century modern table bench 4ft iron legs
This is a beautiful old solid Maple burl bench or coffee table. I think we picked it up at a swap meet back in the 70's. it was old then and has that 50's varnish on the top. The legs are a solid iron but nothing special. The Maple slab is 2 inches thick. 12 inches wide and just at 4ft. long at the longest point. It has wonderful natural burl edges. it stands 14 inches high and is easily strong enough to support human weight. Vintage 1950's George Nelson Style Bench Table Herman Miller Mid Century Modern
This is a very nice circa 1950's all original cushion and table bench in the George Nelson Herman Miller style. It is not signed. It is in excellent condition with yellow vinyl covering all around and soft padded surface with laminated white side table and yellow legs. The cloth bottom covering is ripped in places and coming loose. There are two very small chips in the edge of the white top and two tiny cracks in the corners at the far edge of the cushion(see closeups) Some minor paint wear to the legs. I have not stapled the cloth bottom or tried to repair it. The padded cushion is soft and comfortable and not cracking. It measures 48" long, 18" wide and 17" tall and the legs are not removable and are very sturdy and strong. Telephone shown in picture is not included. Thank you!

Description*PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING* Item: Vintage Hollywood Regency Lucite X-Form Vanity Bench with Removable Cushion making the bench double as a serving/side table. Age: Circa Late 1960's Measurements: 22" H with cushion and 19" H without. 21" W, 15" D. Condition: I tem is in very good vintage condition being structurally sound and sturdy with light signs of normal use as pictured including a couple minor scuffs on the feet and age appropriate yellowing of the interior glue around the top edge which is common with vintage lucite. The current cushion has a frilly cover and could stand to be recovered. I have added many images so you can get the best idea of its beauty and condition and supersize all images for great detail.
