This classic victorian style piano stool is very pretty. And would make a great restoration project. The bottom frame is composed of cast iron. It is beautifully engraved and features three gorgeous twisted legs that add volumes to the overall style. The seat portion appears to be made of pine. It looks as if it was just the base that a padded cushion or covering was glued to. You can see some of the left over residue from this in the pictures. The cast iron portion is in great shape, with no dents, dings or bends whatsoever. The part that adjust spins up and down quite smoothly. There is light surface rust in a few places that should be very easy to remove. It is around 18" tall, and the legs are 18" apart at there widest points. This is a very nice piece! Description: A painted cast iron bottle opener in the form of a parrot perched on a stand. The piece is painted in vivid yellow. Red, blue and black. The piece retains most of its original coloring and its original vividness and have lost very little of it over time. The parrot is standing on a black stand with his beak wide open. The parrot's beak is open and that is the bottle opener. The bird is perched on a stand which serves as the stand to the opener. Mid Century Chandelier Candelabra Wrought Iron Glass Candle Holder Erik Hoglund
For you consideration is a mid century Swedish iron and glass chandelier. It is in very good condition. Some minor spots of discoloration/rust and one of the 9 included glasses has a crack, no chips and not easily noticeable. I haven't cleaned it, it looks like there are some spots of dried out lacquer peeling. The fixture measures 12.75" high and 17.75" wide. Includes 2 10.25" extensions and 9 3 5/16" candle holders. USS Maine Cast Iron Coin Bank Extremely Rare in any condition If you are looking at this item you know what it is. But for those that don't: USS Maine. A second-class battleship built between 1888 and 1895, was sent to Havana in January 1898 to protect American interests during the long-standing revolt of the Cubans against the Spanish government. In the evening of 15 February 1898, Maine sank when her forward gunpowder magazines exploded. Nearly three-quarters of the battleship's crew died as a result of the explosion. While the cause of this great tragedy is still unsettled. Contemporary American popular opinion blamed Spain, and war followed within a few months. Maine's wreck was raised in 1912 to clear the harbor and to facilitate an investigation into the cause of her sinking. Her remains were subsequently scuttled in deep ... morewaters north of Havana. These banks were made in 1902 as a way to commemorate the loss and honor the crew members of the Maine. This bank is missing the back deck section that allowed controlled access to the banks hold. As well as several masts and one gun from each side. It is 10" long, 4" tall and 3.25" wide. Would make a great restoration project or displays quite nicely as is.I found a pristine example that sold at auction for over $7,000 and several complete versions that have sold on eBay for $500 to $700. I can find no manufacturers ID on the bank. It has a tin bottom. While I am not an expert in cast iron banks I would be delighted to answer questions that I can and/or supply additional photos if requested. Please feel free to make reasonable offers! this is a auction for a very rare ek1 ww1 krigesmarine. when i purchased this i thought i would be able to find the full history. Oh no this medal is so complacated. standared vaulted ek1 navy issue, can not tell if it is 2 core or 3 core. front core is silver with fantastic patina on the plate. centre appears to be solid copper, but also appears to have a silver plate at rear. cross is stamped on the silver back. KR4, with some other minor marks. the dealer who it was purchased from came to the same idea as to the next bit. it is stamped on the pin L12. This is the issue maker for private purchased ek1 from ww2, maker CE JUNKERS BERLIN. LDO L12 is Junkers for private purchase crosses. If cross was ww2 issued ek1 it would have the Prasidilkanzlei no P2. for junkers berlin or CEJ for early ones. i think this cross was purchased from junkers ... morein ww2 to replace a lost cross from ww1, from a relative, husband, son, brother, or in law. cross pin is very well made. navy crosses were not magnetic as the iron centre would have rotted away in the sea salt, i thought most were brass but this is copper colour. i will not give this away but i do hope for lots of bids. i hope you enjoy the info about this cross and also the bidding, i only sell quality so bid away. i hoped the KR4 on the back may have been a submarine, but alas i have found no info. thats all i know, good luck. many pics will be added tomorrow as my daughter is away till then.

Vintage VERY RARE 1955 Disneyland Original Cast Iron Park Bench AUTHENTIC
I am selling a large amount of original DISNEYLAND memorabilia DISNEYANA from an estate here in Scottsdale Az. This wonderful VERY RARE vintage Authentic Disneyland SOLID CAST IRON PARK BENCH that was made on the lot and placed when Disneyland first opened in 1955. It wasnt realized until time for the first MAIN STREET PARADE how heavy the benches were for the workers to remove and set aside to make way for the parade. It only took the one time for the crew to realize this problem. So the heavy cast iron benches were put away and used for prototype for much lighter benches. This bench has provenance to it as you can see in the following information that is included. Here is what I know to be true: This Disney park bench came from the estate of Richard(Dick) Pfahler who was one of Walt Disney's earliest employees.You can look this info ... moreup) At the time of Richard's hire. Walt's studio was on Hyperion in Hollywood. Richard retired from Walt Disney Productions in 1974. Upon Dick's retirement. Disneyland presented him with 2 of these cast iron original benches. Upon Richards passing the Disneyland benches were left to his daughter Melinda Pfahler Schussele of Scottsdale Az. Who forwarded all this info to me to share in the listing. Melinda was also a long time employee of Disney as well. Melinda gave one of the benches to friends in California(where it still remains) when she moved to Arizona and this is the one she kept which I am listing. It has all original wood slats from 1955 and has been kept in very nice original condition. The bench measures at least 5 foot in length and is about 2.5 ft in width and weighs at least 500 lbs(just guessing) The bench will be on local pick up only or buyer can arrange shipping. On one side it says 1901 Cut Out the Whiskey and Ax of all Nations with Carrie Nation's image. On the other side it is advertising for Bun Lauret Stove& Ranges and Art Stove Co. in Detroit. Michigan. This is not a real hatchet. It was made as an advertising piece to hang on a wall. I don't believe it is from 1901, I think it dates to the Prohibition Era in the 1930's. It is made of very heavy cast iron. This would be a great addition to any collection as prohibition items are very collectible and rare. This is priced to sell. But I have also seen it attributed to Kenton. It has"Presto" on one side on top of a lever and drawer for placing coins, which are in perfect working order. On the other side it says"Pat APD" The top and the doors on both side are painted red, and there are gold painted accents. It measures a little over 4 1/2" tall and 3 3/4" wide and 2 1/2" deep.
