Vintage Steelcase Industrial Office Metal Drafting Stool Chair
For auction is one beautiful vintage Steelcase metal drafting stool from the early to mid 1980s. It is in fantastic original condition. It is upholstered in black vinyl and has a gorgeous chrome base. The entire stool has been cleaned and detailed from top to bottom. And the chrome gleams from a fresh polishing. The backrest has a few light scratches and one nicked upper corner on the back(see photos) The only other flaw is with the chrome adjustment collar. Which, while fully functional, has an uneven edge. I have provided a closeup photo of this detail. The seat height adjusts from 25"31" The footrest ring measures 19" in diameter, and the base measures 20.5" across/28.5" diagonally. Vintage Industrial Toledo Stool with swivel seat and adjustable height. This stool measures 28" 32" adjustable height with a 15" dia. seat and its foot rest ring measuring 15 1/2" dia. The ball joint feet are rusted together. So they are not floating and movable like most stools of this kind. The seat is maple and ahows heavy wear and use. The seat is cracked(repairable) with random paint marks on it. The seat also sets lopsided, not certain why but when the swivel action is used the seat has a wobble. Although it has some flaws this is a very sturdy and reliable stool. Showing spot rusting in areas and over the years someone has spray painted it black. The label has been spray painted over, the outline is visible but the lettering is not. Great stool overall.Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

The feet on this stool are worn, all four balls are fully intact along with rings but the bottom has worn out. Here we have a 3 antique industrial stool seats. I don't have the legs or base to these. I wish I did because they have a great look to them. I purchased them in the hopes of finding a base or building one for them but time has stretched on and I have yet to do so hence I have decided to let someone else make a project out of them. My original design was to make them into a 3 seat bench or couch with a cool industrial look. As sitting on the floor shown in the photos the backs come up about 16 1/2 inches and the seats are about 14 inches by 15 inches except for the all wooden one that is about 14 x 13.5. As you can see these have some abuse from being in the industrial world but that just adds to their great look. The step stool is in very good condition and appears to have been re-painted many blue moons ago. It is a flat black paint with some chipping and paint splatters. Vintage Industrial Metal& Wood Shop Stool Chair- Aged to perfection! 35 1/2" tall, 14 1/2" diameter seat. 21 1/4" to top of seat The legs look to be adjustable though the screws and bolts have been there a long time. The bolts and screws are a variety so do not know if they are original. One on the bottom of seat is not for sure. The metal is rusty. The wood has darken from use and age and the chair has great lines. Attractive industrial chair! Weight is an estimate. Vintage Industrial Drafting Stool Adjustable Drafting Chair Metal Wood
This is a vintage industrial metal and wood. Office/drafting stool/chair. It is a swivel chair with adjustments for changing the position of the back rest. While the chair itself raises and lowers on the spindle, I am not sure how to permanently adjust as I see no locking mechanism. I see no manufacturer information on the chair, only a sticker that says"twice a year grease swivel and spindle bearings" The seat is about 16" wide x 14 1/2" deep. There is a strip of the wood top missing and age appropriate wear on the rest of the chair. When the chair is in the highest position, the seat is approximately 32" high, and when it is in the lowest postition the seat is about 26" high. The backrest on the stool can be adjusted with a wing nut setup. This item, when boxed, weighs about 25 lbs. and will be disassembled(hopefully ... morein two pieces) when shipped to keep the cost of shipping reasonable. I can send additional photos if requested. There are some deep dents on the seat's side rim. Antique Industrial Singer Drafting/Bar Stool This industrial drafting/bar stool with footrest was made from parts of an old Singer Treadle Sewing Machine stand made of cast iron from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. The ornate arched back is made from the foot treadle and the stool base is made from the ends of the stand. This one piece stool has an all welded construction and is a very solid and sturdy piece. The cast iron& steel stool has been sandblasted and finished with a durable baked on satin black powder coated finish. The 7/8" thick solid oak wood seat has a 14 1/2" diameter and has been stained and finished with a commercial grade satin lacquered finish. The stool height is 44" to tip of back.
