Up for auction is a Metal Stool with Wooden Seat. I picked this up from a local estate. So I'm unsure the history of this item. Item is dirty and shows normal wear from over the years. Antique Machine Age Industrial Drafting Architect Wood & Cast Iron Swivel Stool
Here we have a really great late 1800s antique drafting table stool that is wood and cast iron. As you can see from photo 9 one leg has a crack in it and in photo 10 you can see an example of some cracking to the bent wood foot rest. If you look at photo 7 you will notice that only 3 of the 4 screw are the original ones but this stool is very sturdy when lowered like shown in photo 2. This stool also raises as shown in photo 5 but the seat becomes wobbly the higher that you go but the base is very solid. When at it's lowest this stool is about 30 inches tall. The foot rest is about 14 inches in diameter and the seat is about 14 1/2 inches in diameter. This item will ship FedEx ground so it can not be sent to PO Boxes. This chair is in good condition. And functions properly. The only noticeable issue worth mentioning is that there is a small chip of wood missing on the front lower right side of the seat back. Vintage Industrial Toledo Uhl Stool Machine Chair drafting mid Century steampunk
I have lots of Mid Century and industrial stuff listed and more on the way including more UHL stools. This is a nice old one it does work the back pivots as well as adjusts up and down from 39 3/4 down to 29 inches. The seat adjusts also from 25 3/4 to 17 3/4. It has normal wear but the wood seat and back could be refinished if you wanted to but it has lots of character.

This antique Industrial/Steampunk stool is in EX. condition for it's age. The bent wood legs are in EX. condition with just a couple of very tight age cracks& 1 of the legs is a little chippy on on the bottom. This is a very solid stool weighing 17 lbs. Adjustable from 32" to 37" T he seat has been replaced& is 1 5/8" solid wood. I don't see any mfg. name on it. The cast iron parts appear to have been repainted the wood may have been refinished. There are square nails holding the cross pieces to the legs as shown in pic#8. The guy I got this from told me that this stool belonged to his Grandfather. Who was a plumber by trade. This swing stool would be perfect for mounting to a drafting table. Desk, booth, or wall. The stool has a cast iron base marked"S-814" on the frame and"I" in another area. The stool extends about 19.5" from the wall and the seat is 12" around. The bracket that mounts to the wall is 10" tall and a little under 1.5" wide. Antique Operators Stool - Industrial Barstool - Drafting Chair- Bentwood-Vintage
Available here is the fourth of four antique industrial stools I am listing. This beautiful stool was probably used by a telephone switchboard operator or possibly by a architect as a drafting chair. This would be perfect as a repurposed barstool! The stool body is completely made out of wood. Unlike many of the later versions. The swivel mechanism is steel. It dates to the early 1900's. Probably between 1910 and 1915. The stool is in good functioning condition. The chair height is adjustable by swiveling it one way or the other. The caning is in good shape. And it supported me(pushing 200 lbs) without issue. It features a flared four-legged base with intact and stable heel ring. Supported by bent wooden rods affixed to the base legs. It has a contoured backrest. The footrest has what looks like a splinter in the wood, but this was how ... morethe chair was originally crafted. The wood is wrapped around the base and the split is where the ends connected. The seat diameter is approximately 16.5" and the footrest diameter is approximately 18.25" When the chair is swiveled to its lowest position the seat is approximately 28" from the floor. I have listed 3 other matching stools and would be willing to make a deal for all of them. This is listed as local pick up only. I can safely store this for a reasonable amount of time in Kansas City. Shipping may be available through UPS. They would do the packing and fully insure it. Vintage Industrial Steampunk Oak & Cast Iron Drafting Architect Swivel Stool
This oak stool is in very good condition for it's age. I am thinking turn of the century from it's design. I love it's design. The curved legs and wood foot rest.It swivels and is 31" down and 35" up. You need to do a lifting spinning motion with the seat to get it to rise. It can actually go a little higher. But I didn't want it to spin out totally. The seat is wood underneath, but has been recovered with a piece of leather. original horsehair underneath* Old seat was totally worn. There have been a couple of repairs done, but it is solid. Legs are 21" across-foot to foot. There are trusses built in the cross braces at the bottom, 10th picture shows. I would prefer local pickup, but I will ship it. Not sure what it's weight will be once packed, weighs 12 pounds as is. Michigan in the 1950s. The stool is very structurally solid and mechanically works great but the wood stool has lots of patina such as small hairline cracks. Vintage Industrial Toledo Uhl Art Steel Green Drafting Machinist Shop Stool Seat
This exquisite Toledo Art Steel stool came to us with the seat upholstered in shag carpet. Our competent staff removed the shag carpet. Sanded, stained, and refinished the seat to restore the authentic beauty of the seat. A small area on the edge of the stool seat was damaged by the staples. The damage was sanded smooth and adds a little character to the finished piece- see picture. The base of the stool was very much intact, aside from paint wear, and we have left it original. Vintage Industrial Adjustable Drafting Oak Wood & Cast Iron Swivel Stool
Up for bidding is this gorgeous steampunk industrial red drafting/ piano stool. This would make a great barstool in either an industrial modern or country kitchen. It has chippy red paint. The seat is wood and through the red chips it reveals a sage green underneath. The legs are cast iron at the top and wood at the bottom. It adjusts from 20" to 25" There is a small cut in the rim of the seat(see photo) which tells part of it's story that someone was using it as a saw horse. The cross bar mount under the seat is missing 2 of its screws(easily replaceable) I tried taking pictures of it from every angle possible. If you need any close-ups of anything or have any questions. Vintage Industrial Drafting Stool Adjustable Drafting Chair Metal Wood
This is a vintage industrial metal and wood. Office/drafting stool/chair. It is a swivel chair with adjustments for changing the position of the back rest. While the chair itself raises and lowers on the spindle, I am not sure how to permanently adjust as I see no locking mechanism. I see no manufacturer information on the chair, only a sticker that says"twice a year grease swivel and spindle bearings" The seat is about 16" wide x 14 1/2" deep. There is a strip of the wood top missing and age appropriate wear on the rest of the chair. When the chair is in the highest position, the seat is approximately 32" high, and when it is in the lowest postition the seat is about 26" high. The backrest on the stool can be adjusted with a wing nut setup. This item, when boxed, weighs about 25 lbs. and will be disassembled(hopefully ... morein two pieces) when shipped to keep the cost of shipping reasonable. I can send additional photos if requested. Up for bidding is this cool vintage Toledo adjustable drafting stool in wonderful condition for its age. This stool was probably made in the 1950s. Wood seat and back in great shape with no cracks. This is an old steel stool. It has some surface rust on it. But still very solid. It is 26" tall. The seat is 13" in diameter. It weighs 12lbs. I have another matching stool in another auction. Hardboard top has some paint chipped here, some rust there and scratches on the seat, but it is still very solid and a great, simple piece to look at. Overall this piece measures approximately 31" high. Floor to top of seat is approximately 18” high and the seat itself measures approximately 14” x 14” Stamped. Lyon Metal Products, Inc. Aurora. Antique Uhl Toledo Industrial Drafting Machinist Stool/Chair Tall w Wood Seat
For sale is a great vintage Toledo stool. It has a nice green and rusty patina. The seat raises from 27 1/4" to 31 3/4" The back height is 42" at the low setting. The spring on the lever to raise and lower the seat has been replaced and is not as rigid as the older spring. The wood on the seat and back has the normal wear scratches and discoloration. This is a cool stool with great patina it hasn't been cleaned or restored it looks cool as is or if you want you could paint it. This is 18 tall and 14.25 wide it is very sturdy it will hold anyone. The front legs are molded with a curve in them at first I thought they were bent but they were made that way not sure of their purpose but it does make working on things on the ground easier with a tilt to the seat.
