This auction is for a fabulous pair of Industrial stools or chairs. These stools were likely originally used as a dentist stool but would be awesome as a bar or drafting stool. I love the look. They have metal. I believe aluminum, bases and these funky half moon shaped backs. Check adjustment bars and knobs too! Great style all around. Here we have a VINTAGE NICE CHROME and PADDED ADJUSTABLE AND SWIVEL METAL INDUSTRIAL MACHINE SHOP STOOL. The top measures approximately 13" in diameter x 2" THICK PADDING. The height adjusts approximately from 17" to 23" The stool does have smooth working castors and swivel action. The seam on the side of the seat does have some stitches missing. Vintage Machine Age Industrial Stool Chair Old Toledo Steel Era Adjustable Metal
Here we have an old vintage Machine Age industrial stool. The seat of the stool is about 14 inches in diameter. The back rest measures about 12 inches across. The seat can adjust to about 33 inches high and as low as about 25 inches. As you can see from the photos this chair has some wear for use in a factory and has been well used. The foot rest has been welded and some of the welds have cracked slightly but it's still sturdy. The condition of the stool gives it a great look and is structurally sound. Vintage Toledo Industrial Swivel Drafting Stool Adjustable Tan Hard Plastic Seat
You are looking at a very cool Vintage Toledo Industrial Swivel Drafting Stool Adjustable Tan with a Hard Plastic Seat. This item is in good vintage condition. There are some scratches on the plastic seat. It functions like it should. There is also a spot on the back of the backrest where you can see the number 140. Its faint but still there. Apparently these were used somewhere where they numbered the seats. It has been cleaned some but would probably come off easily with a good cleaner. Ill leave that up to the person who buys it to choose how to clean properly. Other than that its a great looking stool. Please see photos closely. The seat measures 16 x 14 inches. Vintage Brown Ajusto Swivel Adjustable Height Industrial Use Stool
I am going to start this at a very competitive market price- BID TO WIN! This is a very cool and hip stool. I would classify this as a Vintage Space Age Modern Swivel and Adjustable Commercial Grade Chair. It's uses are industrial to commercial- drafting. Industrial, etc. This chair has it's own mechanism that freely spins the stool top- it's not the traditional screw the goes up and down as it threads its way up or down. Furthermore you can depress the chair and put foot on the base and slowly raise the height an inch at a time for 11 additional inches- without having to continuously turning it to achieve the same success. The total from to adjustment is: 24 inches tall to the seat from the lowest position. At it's Peak Height- the total is 34 3/4" inches. There is scratches to the seat( see pics) and rub to the legs ... morewith only the slightest of rust only to the base chrome foot pieces on the bottom. Vintage adjustable swivel stool. Probably Mid Century. All steel construction. Made by Krueger Metal Products in Green Bay. Wisconsin. Total height is 40" with backrest fully up. Legs are 20" at widest point. Seat is 14" in diameter. Good solid condition overall. No cracks or bends in legs. Height adjuster and swivel on seat works smoothly. Metal band around seat cushion is slightly distorted. Not very visible and an straightforward repair if cushion is removed. Paint splatter on seat and backrest vinyl and a small tear on backrest. Vintage antique BKL Elliott Industrial adjustable drafting stool Toledo style
For sale is an awesome vintage antique? industrial drafting stool that was made by the BKL Elliott Company out of Pittsburgh and Cincinatti. To my way of viewing it is almost exactly(if not exactly) like the Toledo UHL type of stools that were made during this period. It measures about 34 inches tall when seat is put up as far as it will go and about 25 inches tall when down as far as it will go(number of notches it can be placed between these two dimensions) The seat is raised and lowered by using a ratchet type of mechanism that is in good working order. When it is squeezed it pulls the pin out and allows the seat to go up and down. When released it locks the position in place. The stool is about 18 inches wide at widest part. It has an awesome hardwood seat and has the original padded vinyl seat cover that can go over it. Seat cover is ... morein fair to good condition but it does have some small rips and discoloration in the vinyl. The seat is in great shape but does show some places where the seams of the wood pieces are coming apart along the edges(see pictures) It is very minor and does not interfere with the overall look or function of piece but include as a matter of accuracy of description. The item is very substantial in weight. Weighing about pounds. The metal still retains some of the original green paint(some pictures make it look like it is black but it is actually a deep green) but does have some loss of paint and minor rust. Again I think it is not a flaw but adds to the original vintage look that would be expected of something of this vintage. This is an awesome all totally original industrial stool that would make a great bar stool or extra seating in any room that you place it in. It will give your home instant vintage industrial charm. I saved this chair from the trash 15 years ago. Because I loved the swivel feature and how comfortable it was- and it still is. As you can see from the photos, it is rusty and the feet are very worn. The seat is about 14.5" in diameter. When at it's lowest point, the chair is about 28" tall, and about 33" at it's max height. The hoop at the bottom is about 18" in diameter. This item is very used and is sold as is in vintage used almost antique condition. This stool probably had a back piece at some point and that is why there is a spot on the side of the seat that is cut out. This is a very cool stool i used for a long time. Absolutely stunning adjustable swivel stool. this 4 footed beauty is all original from 1920's it's military green and fully operational. there are patented numbers on the bottom which I searched and they came back as Vichek stool 1920's and J.A.Campbell 1930's. This puppy is almost 100 years old and still works and looks great. However buys this will be in love from the minute they see it there is one flaw(one foot is missing the pad as shown in pictures) If i was to keep it I would replace them all with casters anyways. For auction is an amazing vintage industrial shop stool with a cadmium red painted steel base and a solid oak seat. This stool has it all; beautiful combination of materials. Wonderful primitive industrial design, fantastic details, and perfect patina. It has been thoroughly cleaned and detailed. The seat height is adjustable and swivels freely. The base, while full of odd angles, is solid and sits flush to the floor. The joints are held together with buck rivets, though two have been replaced with slotted bolts near the top. The wood seat has a small chunk missing near the edge, but it has worn smooth and is free of splinters. Due it's age and use, the seat does wobble some and tilts slightly, but it is still comfortable to sit in. The finish is worn and covered in tiny paint spots, but is all the more beautiful for it.
