Nice Old Adjustable Industrial Medical Doctor's Dental Stool
For your consideration is this old industrial stool. It is fully adjustable for height and appears to be original in every way. My guess is that it's likely a doctor's or dentist's stool. It certainly has that medical look to it. It features all iron construction with a white enamel finish. The round seat has an old oil cloth cover that shows some wear but still remains pretty nice. It is 25" tall as shown but will adjust another 3" or so higher and about 5" or so lower. A nice. Sturdy, well made stool in excellent original condition. We have for sale a Vintage Industrial Machine Age Adjustable Drafting Oak Wood Cane Seat Swivel Stool. The seat adjusts from 17 inches up to 22 inches. It has a round cane seat. Stretched just slightly but in great condition(no breaks) The stool is in very nice condition, there are a couple splits in the small round circle under the legs(See Photos) These splits do not hurt the integrity of this stool. I added some additional photos to the end of this auction showing a couple additional flaws such as a wood plug missing on one leg, some small holes around the edge of the seat, and a scape on one of the feet. Most of these flaws are easily fixable but to me also add charm and a vintage look to the stool. Please check all the photos and decide for yourself. This is a nice old drafting stool with the original finish. It spins to raise it or lower it and the back goes from 34" to 40" and the seat goes from 18" to 24" It looks to have the original stain so there is quite a bit of patina and aging. There are quite a few nicks and scratches but a good oiling up would cover a lot of them. The seat appears to be the original leather and about 25% of the wood band holding it down has broken off at some point. There are also so old white paint specs on the back. Koenig and Co. from Chicago Il. Solid Maple Seats with Matching adjustable back rest. Heavy guage angle steel base with original army green enamel paint finish. Vintage Adjustable Industrial Metal Stool/Chair- Seat 24-32" High plus Backrest For sale is a metal adjustable stool with backrest. It measures 24 to 32" to the top of the seat with the backrest adding another 12" to the height. The feet will be 16 to 18" apart depending on the setting. The stool is in used condition& has scratches and some rust as shown. The bottom of the adjustable legs are also rusty but they swivel to sit flat on the floor. The backrest can slide forward or back. I can't make out the name other than it says backrest under it. I do not know the age of the stool. Despite its flaws. It is still a great sturdy stool. Original Sikes chair made of a heavy strong durable wood(possibly oak) With cast iron gears to raise or lower the chair. It has a chrome steel ring foot rest that has rust(see photos) The green paint is coming off all over as you can see in the photos. Early chairs used ball bearing foot pads on the better made furniture as they did on this chair. This is truly a great piece of furniture which can be used comfortably by an artist, draftsman, architect, printer, jeweler, etc. You can use the chair as it is or refinish it. Usually in some state of disrepair from over a century of heavy use. This one is in good shape! Seems these are getting quite hard to find. In fact we couldn't find any comparable ones available on eBay at all. The only examples found were priced at $600-700 which sound's a bit extreme for eBay, so we'll be sure our opening offer is somewhere a bit over half or so. It is a great stool. Especially if you're lucky to have a great old drafting table. But if not, it's just fab by itself, with all the awesome industrial authenticity and oak& iron charm of the excellent drafting furnishings from an age where all drawings were done by hand while perched atop wonderful ... moreconstructions like this one! You are looking at a very cool old Vintage Industrial Drafting Stool Antique Machine Age Stool Toledo? Adjustable. This item adjusts by pulling upwards on the seat until you hit the threshold and it will drop all the way back down. This is a very nice design. There is no makers markings anywhere that I could find on this item. It resembles the Toledo stools though. This item works well and is in vintage condition. There is plenty of wear on this piece. Adjustable height and fixed wood seat with four decorative incised rings. Tubular steel heel ring. These stools originally had a baked enamel finish. The stool operates with a self-locking mechanism with spring-tensioned pawls. The pawls are released by raising the seat to its highest position. With the pawls released the seat can be easily lowered to its bottom position. Pressing the seat down when it is in its bottom position resets the pawls so that the seat can be raised to the desired height and then it holds position. Vintage Industrial Swivel Fully Adjustable Drafting Stool Chair-Distressed Cool
Here is a vintage industrial drafting or task stool or office chair. The seat is vinyl and the legs are chrome. Did not find a maker's mark on it. The chair seat swivels and the chair is also fully adjustable. The seat adjusts from 21 inches to 26 inches(shown in photo at 26 inches) The chair back adjusts by 3 inches from 11 inches tall to 14 inches tall and also adjusts front to back. The chair at its highest is 37 inches tall from the floor to the top of the chair back. The distance between the feet is approximately 15 1/2 inches and the diameter of the foot rest is 17 inches around. Chair is sturdy and weighs 23 lbs without the box. Seat measures approximately 17 inches side to side by 17 inches front to back. The vinyl is a very cool red color and is distressed from use over the years. It has some paint splatter and marks on it that ... morelook very cool. There are some minor tears to the vinyl on the seat and on the sides of the seat(see photos 3 and 4) Of course. Antique Machine Age Industrial Chair Stool Steel Do-More Casters Adjustable UHL
Here we have a great Machine Age industrial chair. This chair is made of steel and I have seen people listing them as UHL Toledo and also as Do-More stools. I have not seen any markings on this chair to indicate either of them as being the brand. The casters are Bassick casters and as you can see from the photos there is some wear and chipping to the wheels. Photo 10 shows the worst of the chipping to one of the wheels. As you can see from the photos this chair has been repainted and maybe recovered but it was obviously done awhile ago. The back rest of the chair is about 31 inches tall and the back rest is about 15 inches wide. The seat is about 17 1/2 inches tall and is 12 1/2 inches by 16 inches. The back rest of the chair is adjustable as you can see. The seat of the chair looks like it may adjust but I wasn't able to figure out how ... moreit does so. Vintage industrial stool Toledo? casters adjustable steampunk machinist leather!
This is a beauty of a piece. What you see is what you get. The stool is fully functional(that is the casters roll and turn smoothly. As does the screw adjustment) This has spent the bulk of its life in an auto-body shop so it has paint and chemicals all over it. I made no attempt to clean it. It has pitting and surface rust. It used to be chrome. This would be a great addition to an artist studio or auto shop or any industrial decor. See the pictures for the best description. Lower 48 USA only! Offered is an extremely cool looking old stool. It is height adjustable by turning the top. Typical of adjustable stools of its age. The wood appears to be oak. The base is cast iron and steel. The white areas on the cast iron is simply attic dust, as I am offering this in as found condition. The seat portion of the stool has some splitting. The stool could be used or displayed as is.
