Antique Hand Carved Couch - Lawson Style With 3 Footstools - (Sofas & Chaises)
This is an older sofa in very good condition. When I had it recovered I was told that it looked to be from before 1900. I however have no way to track its history. It is very unique. The frame is completely separable from the cushions making it easy to recover. Its proportions give the sofa a tailored back about as high above the seat as the seat is deep. With arms much lower than the back. The pitch of the sofa’s back allows your back to rest at a comfortable angle, not too upright. It has 3 matching footstools that were certainly carved with it. It has 3 seat cushions, 3 backrest cushions, 2 round pillows for the ends, and the cushion that sets into the frame. The dimensions are 73” long, 32” high, 33” deep. The footrests are 17” square with a 10 1/2” height. Omersa Abercrombie and Fitch Leather Three Pig Footstools Mid Century Modern
Up for grabs are a group of leather pigs. They're unmarked. But are most likely newer Omersa's- based on design and condition. They're in very good shape. With a little wear from use. The two larger pigs have a pinhole in their tails. I think someone had pinned their tails down at some point to train them into position. Overall in very nice shape. Care tip: Do not wipe down with water. As it will make the dye run. I put a fresh coat of NikWax on them, as is the recommended care for Omersa pieces. From a fine estate and a rare find. Is this very gorgeous pair of vintage or antique grain leather and wood claw foot footstools. They look to be quite old. The man who they were purchased from, said it was his grandmother's. Please see the pictures and condition description above. Their color is a true darker brown. Measures 15.5" long x 15.5" wide x 8.5" high. This pair is a decorator's or collector's dream, for this period style. Each footstool weighs a little over 10 pounds.
