Antique Cast Iron Floral Needlepoint Petit Point Footstool Foot Stool Ottoman
I have for your consideration a Antique Cast Iron Footstool with a Needle Pointed Cover. Cast iron base is in black. There is some minor chipping to the paint and underneath there is evidence of a gold color paint. The top in upholstered in a vintage black ground needle point with oval beige center surrounded by flowers and leaves. The center of the oval beige has a bouquet of flowers done in petit point. Footstool in in very nice condition with no breaks or repairs. Needlepoint is very nicely executed. When needlepoint was placed onto the footstool. Some of the needlepoint canvas was left exposed, look at photo#8 for a closer look. It can only be seen if stool is turned upside down. The underside has written what looks to be Grandma's 1922 in pencil. This piece measures 8 1/4" tall x 14 1/2" wide x 10 3/4" deep. Weight ... moreis 12 lbs. A very nice example and well preserved. Antique wood & cast iron Gold ornate Victorian Needlepoint footstool round
Estate find! Lovely little ornate wood and cast iron footstool with a needlepoint top featuring a floral pattern. The footstool measures 10 1/2" in diameter and stands a total of about 6 1/2" tall. It is strong and sturdy with no wobble. One of the legs looks like it has been repaired at some point. Please view the photos as they are part of the description. I have included a picture of the inside of the leg that has been repaired. The close up of the outside of a leg is the same repaired leg.

Antique Small Folding Footstool Stepstool-Needlepoint Top-C.1920-30's
A nice old folding stool which I was told was to be used as a step stool for climbing up into old cars from the 1920-1930 era. I don't know if the needlepoint top would have been used then or if it is something which was added later. The needlepoint is old. Has faded some and does show some wear but there are no holes in it. Two of the corners have been stitched over to cover the wood but two corners have not. The stool is made of wood, the legs fold under and there is a bar which'locks' the legs in place. The piece measures approx. 9 3/4" x 4 3/4" x 4 1/2" tall when opened. This makes a very nice stand for display and really cute for displaying dolls. Great little stool.

Vintage Needlepoint Footstool with brass and leather casters
This footstool is very interesting. And I don't know quite how to date it. The needlepoint with black background is in good condition, and could be any age. It probably is not original to the wooden frame. The woodframe has a serpentine shape with octagonal feet. The casters are layers of leather between brass.The feet look like they have been hollowed out by hand. According to my readings, this would date the casters to 1770-1780, however I think they have been re-applied to the feet because the screws look newish. This piece is very solid and heavy.

No makers mark that I can ascertain. What is really unique about the stool how the legs are angled inward. Anyone out there that can share the significance of that design? Antique Inlaid Wood Footstool with Fruit Decorated Needlepoint Top
This item for auction is an Antique Inlaid Wood Footstool. With a Fruit Decorated Needlepoint Top. It measures approx. 12" inches long, 8" inches wide, and 5" inches tall. The stool sits on, 4 feet. The Needlepoint has Fruit and Leaf Decoration. The front of the stool has a fancy inlaid decoration(Pictured) and a pin stripe inlay, on the other 3 sides. Comes with the normal wear, of an item made in the 1800's. Nice early one.

Beaded Needlepoint Victorian English Footstool
This sale is for a small Victorian English beaded needlepoint stool. Fortunately. The beading and wool is complete. I cannot find any loose or missing beads. The design is almost a Celtic one using black, silver(pewter) and bronze glass beads. The background of the needlepoint is a red wool. The footstool is about 4" high and 12" in diameter. The 3 porcelain ball feet protrude slightly from the stool edge. These often are seen with wood veneered bases, but this one is gold painted. It doesn't appear to have ever been veneered. It has an aged look to it, but the most attractive aspect is the beading. Please email me with any questions.

Vintage Carved Wood Footstool Antique Needlepoint Flowers Ladies Stool Footrest
Up for auction is a lovely vintage footstool with a floral needlepoint cushion. This is a great piece. An excellent addition to any home. The footstool measures approximately 14 1/4 x 14 1/4 x 9" This is a sturdy little stool. The wood base is solid. There are signs of past use on this stool, including scratches and scrapes on the wood portion, and some slight staining on the top. I didn't try to clean the top portion at all, so the stains may be able to be lightened or removed with a careful cleaning. In addition, one side of the top is a bit loose from the base.
