Vintage Industrial Steampunk Oak & Cast Iron Drafting Architect Swivel Stool
This oak stool is in very good condition for it's age. I am thinking turn of the century from it's design. I love it's design. The curved legs and wood foot rest.It swivels and is 31" down and 35" up. You need to do a lifting spinning motion with the seat to get it to rise. It can actually go a little higher. But I didn't want it to spin out totally. The seat is wood underneath, but has been recovered with a piece of leather. original horsehair underneath* Old seat was totally worn. There have been a couple of repairs done, but it is solid. Legs are 21" across-foot to foot. There are trusses built in the cross braces at the bottom, 10th picture shows. I would prefer local pickup, but I will ship it. Not sure what it's weight will be once packed, weighs 12 pounds as is. Vintage Industrial Adjustable Drafting Oak Wood & Cast Iron Swivel Stool
Up for bidding is this gorgeous steampunk industrial red drafting/ piano stool. This would make a great barstool in either an industrial modern or country kitchen. It has chippy red paint. The seat is wood and through the red chips it reveals a sage green underneath. The legs are cast iron at the top and wood at the bottom. It adjusts from 20" to 25" There is a small cut in the rim of the seat(see photo) which tells part of it's story that someone was using it as a saw horse. The cross bar mount under the seat is missing 2 of its screws(easily replaceable) I tried taking pictures of it from every angle possible. If you need any close-ups of anything or have any questions. Vintage Industrial Drafting Stool Adjustable Drafting Chair Metal Wood
This is a vintage industrial metal and wood. Office/drafting stool/chair. It is a swivel chair with adjustments for changing the position of the back rest. While the chair itself raises and lowers on the spindle, I am not sure how to permanently adjust as I see no locking mechanism. I see no manufacturer information on the chair, only a sticker that says"twice a year grease swivel and spindle bearings" The seat is about 16" wide x 14 1/2" deep. There is a strip of the wood top missing and age appropriate wear on the rest of the chair. When the chair is in the highest position, the seat is approximately 32" high, and when it is in the lowest postition the seat is about 26" high. The backrest on the stool can be adjusted with a wing nut setup. This item, when boxed, weighs about 25 lbs. and will be disassembled(hopefully ... morein two pieces) when shipped to keep the cost of shipping reasonable. I can send additional photos if requested. This is a cool stool with great patina it hasn't been cleaned or restored it looks cool as is or if you want you could paint it. This is 18 tall and 14.25 wide it is very sturdy it will hold anyone. The front legs are molded with a curve in them at first I thought they were bent but they were made that way not sure of their purpose but it does make working on things on the ground easier with a tilt to the seat.

Great antique wooden and cast iron drafting stool. The factory cut on the leg rest loop came apart which is normal for these stools. Looks like the previous owner glued it and also drove a small screw up through the bottom just to insure it stays. It is very sturdy and heavy duty. The seat does swivel and turns but it does not adjust for height. Measurements are as shown in the 2nd and 3rd photo. The stool is too big to ship. Sorry. Ask any questions if needed. This auction is for one MID-CENTURY HOWELL INDUSTRIAL/DRAFTING STOOL. It is has a chrome base with four legs and a padded black. Vinyl circular seat. It is approximately 48" high and the seat is 12" in diameter. The black"foot protectors" are in tact. The vinyl surface on the seat is somewhat dried out but not terribly. There is one 1/4" knick" in the vinyl which appears white in color. There is MINIMAL surface rust on the frame in different areas. The original label is affixed to the bottom of the seat and it reads"PATENT APPLIED FOR, EXCLUSIVE, HOWELL, ST. Up for sale is this nice vintage industrial factory drafting stool/chair. This stool shows wear from age as pictured with a few tears in the cushion and some surface rust on the steel- all original as found condition. It measures 26" tall to the seat and 39" tall to the back rest and the base measures 17" by 17" I think it adjusts up and down but it needs some work.
