This is an old church pew with a back board for song book. Prayer book or bible. This bench appears to be very old and may be 100 years old or older, just not sure of the age. Measures about 8 ft. long. Some animal has been chewing on it in several places(see pictures) which adds to the primitive look. The critter also chewed on the bottom center leg and the bottom right leg. Red paint or stain looks much brighter in the pictures than it is, it is very dull. Buyer much pick up near Roanoke VA.

I have owned this organ for many years and had a great deal of fun with it. Organ does get very loud. All keys and foot pedals work as designed. Seven prong cables that connect speaker cabinet to organ have been replaced. Organ is extremely heavy. Vintage Allen Industrial Theater Church Organ w/ Bench and Oscillating Speaker
Up for auction is a nice Vintage Allen Organ. The organ is in nice condition and works but I am no means an expert. This organ was removed from a cathedral that was closing and has been warehoused for a few years. It appears to be complete but the speaker back is missing and the music strand has a crack. The organ turns on and plays but I am not an organ player so I do not know if it works to its fullest function. All of the keys are intact and it has all the original cords. The speaker is oscillating and spins when plugged in and playing. The finish and wood is in nice condition and only shows light wear overall. No major cracks, splits, or blemishes. This is an antique deacon's or church meeting house wooden bench. It is eight foot long and is in original condition. It is fairly heavy. So I assume it is made of a wood other than pine, but I don't know. There is a small repair that was done on the back bottom slat. This was done by my grandfather over seventy-five years ago. As you can see, it has been painted and quite well preserved. The seat is one piece of wood. This fine old bench has been in my family for a long time and has always been kept under cover. These pews are excellent for benches since they have a straight back design so will fit very close to the wall without a large angle on the back like so many pews. They are also very comfortable because of the curved back. this pew contains the original book holder on the back. As you can see by the photos they have a very nice decorative design in each end. This is an excellent organ and bench. The bench is large enough for two and has music in it. The bench itself is very valuable. The organ is electronic not tubes. As far as we know it is in great playable shape. It has been well taken care of. As the history shows. The organ is: 55" wide, 45" deep, and 53" high. The bench is 48" Long, 24" High and 13 1/2" deep and has a great curve to it. See Pictures) This would be a great asset to any church or home. The item is heavy and would have to be picked up. Antique 1800s Church pew backs Bench and arm For Repurposing or Redo Headboards?
I acquired these antique church pews from an old church in Springfield Ohio. They were remodeling. I purchased quite a few and these are the pieces that I have left. I was hoping I could find someone that would treasure them as much as I do. I have no means to repurpose any of the remaining pieces. I have a bench seat and back measuring 62 inches long. It's seat depth is 15 inches and the seatback measures 21 inches. The two back portions of the pews measure 88 inches wide and 22 inches tall. I have one arm. These pews are made out of antique oak and the seat of the bench is antique pine. I think the two pieces that are 88 inches wide would be great for headboards for beds. They have the attached hymnal book holders and communion slots. I am selling these for local pickup only near Springfield Ohio.
