That said, the stool is otherwise solid and functional and looks fantastic if you like the dark, lived-in gothic look. Ball& Claw Feet For your consideration I have a set of 5 cast iron feet from a table or old piano stool. Each foot is 3-3/4" tall with a 1-1/4" diameter glass ball. Opening for leg measures 7/8" The top portion of the leg has a unique design that is scrolled. See pics. Three feet have glass ball. One with crushed glass and the other two have nicks. Two feet have no glass. They have surface rust to cast iron finish. Ready to clean up and use for a restoration project. Vintage Industrial Adjustable Drafting Oak Wood & Cast Iron Swivel Stool
Up for bidding is this gorgeous steampunk industrial red drafting/ piano stool. This would make a great barstool in either an industrial modern or country kitchen. It has chippy red paint. The seat is wood and through the red chips it reveals a sage green underneath. The legs are cast iron at the top and wood at the bottom. It adjusts from 20" to 25" There is a small cut in the rim of the seat(see photo) which tells part of it's story that someone was using it as a saw horse. The ornate arched back is made from the foot treadle and the stool base is made from the ends of the stand. This one piece stool has an all welded construction and is a very solid and sturdy piece. Great antique wooden and cast iron drafting stool. The factory cut on the leg rest loop came apart which is normal for these stools. Looks like the previous owner glued it and also drove a small screw up through the bottom just to insure it stays. It is very sturdy and heavy duty. The seat does swivel and turns but it does not adjust for height. Measurements are as shown in the 2nd and 3rd photo. The stool is too big to ship. Sorry. Ask any questions if needed. 2 Antique Cast Iron & Wood Ice Cream Parlor Diner Soda Fountain Stool
This auction is for a pair of antique ice cream parlor or soda fountain stools. The tops have warped a little and one has a large piece missing from the bottom of one side. The other one has two splits and will need to be glued back together. The bases are in good original condition with no cracks or chips. They were designed to be screwed to the floor and the tops roatate. But are a little loose in the hole. They may need some kind of washer or sleeve, but I don't know for sure? These are a great little pair of stools that I hope are still worth restoring. They measure about 22" high and the seats have about an 11" diameter. Both for one amount, low minimum bid!

An"expert" told me this stool was to be in the bathroom but I'll bet it went into the other rooms as well! No matter what color the scans show. Offering for sale a Authentic Antique J. Briggs Piano Stool. The underside of the seat base plate has the following stamped into it's steel plate: J. Briggs. Warran, Ind. October 23, 1866, Piano Stool, Dec' 10, 1867, Patent Peterboro, N.H" I'm guessing one of the dates is the'Patent Date' and the other the date of actual manufacturer. However, I'm not an antique expert so I really am guessing? It is authentic and original. Except for the wood seat which is made of plywood. Someone along the stools long history has replaced the wood seat top. All the bolts, and the wood pedestal appear to be original, including the three iron legs. I believe the legs are made of cast iron? The wood pedestal has a pretty large crack in it, so it would have to be repaired if you actually intend to use it for sitting. The wood is ... morerough, I would be rough too if I were that old. Hehe! I'm really looking for a serious buyer who can restore this beauty or leave it intact with the intent of preserving its history. This is too Cool for words! Not only is this a swivel style stool. But the legs have the most amazing detail on them! The bottom part is a cast iron bronze base with a face sitting on a clear ball. The clear ball part seems to be a heavy duty plastic, but looks like its glass. The underneath of the seat is mounted on black cast iron as well. This guy has the best looking legs if seen in a long time. This is why we buy Vintage! You won't see anything like this today. Although I've seen a few other piano stool similar to this. I've yet to see one with this kind of feet. I've seen the"claw' foot before, but I've not seen one with a"face" foot. That makes this one of kind even more of a unique and rare find.
