This lovely little stool is in very good condition for its age. The cast iron has surface rust but it does not affect the structure. The block connecting the seat to the feet portion has a chunk out of it. But you can't see that unless you are laying on the floor(nobody that drunk will care) The upholstery is in very good condition but not original. Nicks, and some of the finish knocked off from normal use. There is a 2 inch piece of bead molding missing on the seat rim. The glass balls have flat spots worn on the bottom. The glue joints on the top of the seat are visible. The screw thread has wear, so the stool seat is a little wobbly. Very usable. The base is very solid. Offering a stunning late 19th century piano stool. Which could also be used as a table. The quality is remarkable, as the base is solid walnut with thick ornate cast iron legs. The top surface was once upholstered. It has a beautiful distressed smooth worn surface, which looks like burled wood, but is pine. Traditional beeswax has been applied to reveal the lovely original finish. The walnut and cast iron construction make the stool fairly heavy for its size. Very solid, clean and height adjustable. We are pleased to offer this unique. Mid Century(1960s-1970s) Miller High Life Beer, pub table and chair set. This somewhat rare set features the Miller High Life, GIRL IN THE MOON as the main design feature. The table top is laminate with the Miller High Life logo and girl in full color(golden tan) She is holding a bottle of Miller High Life which is marked on the label. The table column is heavy, cast iron. There is a large, cast iron silhouette of the girl in the moon, again very thick cast iron) at the column's mid section. The table has 5 legs. The bar stools/chairs are either wrought iron or aluminum and feature the silhouette on each chair back. The leather/vinyl seats feature the"Miller High Life" with enclosed border logo in a golden tan. This is a very unique and highly collectible set. Wood Cast Iron Stool Plant Stand Rustic Primitive Reclaim Machine Age Industrial
This is kind of a strange thing. It has a cast iron base with worn green paint. The bottoms of the feet have been ground down so that its its level it appears that it may have had wheels or levelers at some point. The post is a modern galvanized pipe with a coupling attached to the top. Everything is screwed together tightly enough that I couldn't get it apart with normal force. The top is a beat up round stool top that has plenty of character to spare. It has been painted marine for quite some time but most of the where is under the paint. The top sits loosely on an old cast iron piece that says 1872. The pieces stands about 30 inches tall the top peace is approximately 12 inches in diameter and defeat are approximately 18 inches at the widest point. This is a great reclaimed repurposed peace and no one will have one like it it holds ... moremy weight(300 lbs) as a stool or would make a great plant stand. Antique SWIVEL STOOL w/ CASTERS Medical Industrial OAK SEAT Adjustable Cast Iron
Please read my listing thoroughly and view all 12 of my PHOTOS before bidding: Here is an antique adjustable industrial stool on casters. I was told this stool is as early as the 1930's and was probably in a medical office of some kind because the paint on base is porcelain and the adjusting knob is chrome. It easily and smoothly adjusts from 18" to 23.5" high and many increments between. Color is salmon(all original. Not a re-paint) The top is oak and is also original to the stool-top measures about 24" in diameter x 1 1/4" thick. The wood has wear, a crack and a few small holes but it is very sturdy and looks great in my opinion(see photos) The stool rolls very easily and smoothly. It is very heavy duty cast iron-the overall weight of the stool is 24.22 pounds. Antique Cast Iron & Burl Wood Victorian Adjustable Stool w/Velvet & Fringe Seat
Original cast iron legs and what looks like a carved burl wood base adjustable stool with a powdery sea-green blue velvet seat and plenty of satiny fringe. It extends to roughly 24" high but has some"give" gets a little"wobbly" at the top when extended. it adjusts down to a height of about 19" The top has a bit of"give" but seems fine for use; otherwise. It has no damage. some very light spots on the seat but not overwhelming. The legs at the floor are about 14-1/2" apart and the seat top is about 13-1/2" in diameter.

It looks as if it was just the base that a padded cushion or covering was glued to. You can see some of the left over residue from this in the pictures. Up for auction is this nice set of 4 Cast Iron Claw Foot Hardware. With Glass Balls. The pieces have Brass or Brass colored Gliding. They measure 4" long and the glass balls are 1 1/4" in diameter. Each foot has a hole in the back to attach to the furniture leg with a set screw. Very nice detailing. These are authentic as I took them off an old round table. RARE Antique 1890s Wood Cast iron Drafting stool 1900s VTG OLD Johnson CHAIR Co
An amazing drafting stool made by Johnson Chair co Early 1900s. Wood& cast iron chair. This is a nice solid chair! Wood is in good shape and the cast iron is as well. There has been some repair to the seat of the chair as seen in photos. The repairs look to be very old. This is in as is condition as I found it. All I have done is wipe the dust off. The top of seat does come off and on but it is a sturdy seat to use for every day work. This stool can adjust and get a lot higher. The lid of the seat comes off and the other two examples of this stool I've seen do the same thing. The screw you see in the 5th photo is holding a riveted part in the spiral shaft. Once you let the tension off by loosening the screw you are able to adjust the height of the seat. Once you get it to the height you like you just pop the seat right onto the shaft ... moreand it is good to go! very sturdy seat and very easy to adjust. Awesome Old Estate Antique Vintage Shoe Shine Box Stand. Solid Oak With Cast Iron Foot Rest. Stool(or stand) measurements: 15 1/2" high, 14 1/4" deep, 14 1/4" wide. There is a faux cow patterned cloth on the padded top which appears to have been added in the 50s or 60s. The original padded top would most likely have been leather. Most screws, nails, etc. appear to be original. I doubt the underside hinges are original. Please see photo. The box is oak, quite heavy and well made. It is an older item, pre-owned and has been used. There are signs of age and use wear, including some dings, scratch, scuff. Overall solid piece in good estate condition. As mentioned. The piece is heavy- oak and cast iron. I've calculated shipping allowing for a sturdy box and careful, ample packing. If for any reason there is an overcharge amounting ... moreto a dollar or more, I'll promptly refund the overage. A word about the top pad. The cloth and foam beneath it aren't great. Made by the Briggs Patent Portable Ottoman Portfolio Piano Stool- Patented April 28th. 1868 and Aug 31st, 1869. Briggs' Manufactory of Portable. Patent Piano Stools- This business was commended in town, in a small way, by Joshua Briggs, in 1862. He made, at old jobs, one dozen of piano-stools in 1863, accupying the basement of Robert Day's shop, near'Wilder's Manufactory, North Peterborough. In the spring of 1864 he rented the second story and attic of'Brennan's Building, in the village, and continued them until the whole building was too limited for his vastly increased business, when he purchased the saw-mill of Mark Wilder, and erected for his manufactory, in the summer of 1873, his present large and commodius buildings. The progress of his business was gradual, from making a dozen piano-stools by himself, as in ... more1862, 63' and then with hiring one or two hands a part of the time, to his present condition. He now employs, when the business is good, from twenty-five to thirty hands in the shop, and at the same time hires all his iron-work, castings, screws, etc. done outside. Mr Briggs has secured five several patents on his piano-stools; two on the screw style, two on the ottoman style, one on the portable back. The Massachusetts Charitable Mechanics' Association, Boston, in September, 1869, awarded to him a diploma and honorable mention of his piano-stools. In September, 1871, at the New England Fair at Lowell, Mass, a silver medal was awarded him for his portable piano-stools. Overall good condition. Ornate cast iron legs. Wooden painted frame shows some minor wear and paint loss. Hinges appear to have been replaced. The seat and turned center carved and highly decorated column is solid walnut with very rare thick elaborate cast iron base legs ornately adorned with ornamental embellishments painted black and trimmed with gold. The top surface is solid walnut. Beautifully age distressed and also ornately painted in Hitchcock style design with gold accents. There are many potential uses in any décor. This vintage footstool has a painted wood base and ornate cast metal legs. The footstool measures approximately 14" L X 10" W X 6.50" H. The footstool originally had a needlepoint covering over padding but has been nicely repainted at some point. The wooden base is distressed with tool marks and nail holes and there is some wear to the paint of the base; the paint on the legs is in excellent condition. Fantastic restoration project! 4 cast iron. Wood and porcelain bar/ soda fountain/ counter swivel stool seats. On the inside it says ART PORCELAIN PRODUCTS, INC. BROOKLYN NY. One can only imagine the stories these seats could tell: Not sure if top is leather, leatherette or vinyl. I believe these are from 1930's 40's era. Very heavy, each weighs approx. 12.6 lbs and measures 12 diam. Lots of dirt and rust, some lifting of the top on one seat. The glass balls have several dings and cracks and chips. The feet have been painted before and that is all peeling off. They are rusty. Great design though, unique.
