This is a custom made gunsmith quality solid brass range/cleaning/bench rod for muzzleloaders. This 3/8" diameter rod is 36" long and has a removable 1/2" T' handle on one end. The working end is threaded 10-32. I've been building these rods for use at my bench for years. I've also built them for other gunsmiths. This rod will stand up to pulling the stubborn stuck ball or bullet. Instead of the standard 10-32 steel set screw to hold the'T' on. I've threaded the outside of the rod 5/16-24 so the'T' wont snap off. I've pounrd the'T' with a hammer and even put weights on the rod to make a sliding hammer puller. I dont really suggest all this, but it's tough. This rod is 3/8" in dia. so it will work on barrels.45 and larger. This vintage camel saddle is in sturdy condition. The leather cushion is in worn condition though a cover could be made for it making it an excellent home accent and for sure quite the conversation piece! It is made of wood and has the leather cushion and it also has brass accent caps at the top on each end. Due to it's age the caps each have a split but are still quite firmly attached. It also has brass accent plates on the bottom of each leg and brass tack accents. The upholstery is not in the best of shape as the pictures will show. I absolutely fell in love with the legs on this piece. I have never seen another piece like it. It is 19 inches long and 13 inches wide. The stool is about 14 inches high overall and the brass legs are each 10 inches high. The stool is very sturdy and well built. The inside cushioning is also very firm and plump. The upholstery needs to be redone in my opinion. Once that is accomplished. You will have a truly remarkable beautiful piece of antique furniture. This is a beautiful Vintage Hollow Brass 3 strand Graduated Ball Bench Hammered Beaded Necklace. It is pre-own and in good condition. I do not know when it was made but. Looks old and it is not signed. The largest bead is about 1 1/2 inch and the long tube bead at the top is about 4 1/2 inches and the flat bead at the top is about 1 1/2 inch across. This auction is for is for five pieces of vintage 1930s era funeral home/ mortuary equipment made by Holland Brass Works(Chicago. Illinois) as part of their Saint Mary's Equipment line. Made of cast and painted aluminum with Bakelite. All come apart so that they can be stored and transported in the pictured custom fitted wooden cases. These are from the days when people would hold wakes in their homes. And Funeral Directors would bring this equipment to those homes. Included are: Two candlesticks with butterscotch swirl Bakelite inserts. Assembled. Each one is 43" high, and the base is 13" in diameter A stand with crucifix to hold Mass cards. Tray has an insert covered in grey color velvet. Also has the butterscotch Bakelite insert. From the base to the tray is 36" Including the crucifix it is 45 1/2" high. Two kneeler ... moreends. We are pleased to offer this very beautiful and unique. Antique to older vintage, bench. The bench features a fabric wrapped, wooden seat mounted upon double, metal leg base. The bases are very interesting. Each side features a four legged design. The legs are very curved in semi-circle fashion and the hyperextend the bench at each end. They are a copper colored, hollowed metal and are paired with brass colored, ball and stick accents. There is an embossed, floral medallion/plate attached at the mid point of the bases both on the outside and inner profiles. The legs are a copper color while the feet and the ball accents are in a brass"washed" finish for contrast. The bench seat appears to a heavy plywood. It is padded and covered with a cotton blend fabric. The fabric has machine embroidered, Nouveau inspired, floral/leaf designs. ... moreThey are accomplished in colors of red and gold. The fabric has a tasseled trim of black and gold. The bench is not marked. It is in very good condition with some expected signs of age. The metal legs/feet do have some patina and some oxidized spots. These are not severe nor distracting. The fabric looks fairly new and the bench appears to have been recently reupholstered. The bench is solid and sturdy. But it is not heavy as the metal is hollowed. The legs do have some give to them so this is more of a decorative piece versus a functional piece. It is exceptionally beautiful and it is very interesting. It combines elements of Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau and Art Deco. Would be fabulous in an entryway, hall or at the foot of a bed.
