VTG ANTIQUE MIDDLE-EASTERN? CURVED FOOTSTOOL STOOL BURNISHED WOOD PERSIAN RUG
You are bidding on a unique foot stool. Place of origin unsure, but could be from the Middle East. It is curved, and stands 10" tall at highest point, 7&1/2" at lowest. Overall measurements are 11" x 18. It features a Persian rug attached with large nail heads, some border tape(some missing) and is about 70 years old(I showed it to the owner of an Oriental rug shop) The wooden side pieces are hand done burnished wood. On the back side of the stool is the remaining wood slats, and an antique quilt that was used for padding. Because of the missing and broken slats, the rug is not fully supported and sags in the center. Sturdy stool, it just needs some TLC. If you have any other information about it, please contact me. Although it is very worn, you can see the canvas in some spots, there is no unraveling of the stitches. That's great news. The wood is nicely detailed with turned wooden legs. The top of each leg is decorated with a carved flower that interrupts the round sides. Wood if cleaned and oiled will transform. Even considering the condition I think it is a fabulous piece. Vintage older wood footstool Nice old wood item what I assume to be a foot stool. The piece is old and quite original looks to be hand made. The item shows significant use and age. The finish is untouched and the wood patina is very attractive. There is a non distracting crack or split on the top center this adds to the flavor of the piece in my opinion this can be seen in the images. There are signs of past very old repairs as well. The images detail the item and its construction. Its craftsman made and doubtless for a specific application several decades ago I would guess it served as a foot stool. This item would make a great plant stand. I can picture a bronze or older plaster statue sitting on this as well. Very retro older wood item with a lot of soul. Beautiful. Victorian era, small, round lady's antique cast iron and wood footstool. The three cast iron legs and the edge of the solid wood base have been painted an egg-shell white/cream. Paint has chipped off in spots, adding to the character and age of the piece. The top is a beautiful needlepoint pastoral scene of girl on a bench next to a pitcher with a cherub; background is deep red orange. It may be the original, partial original, or a replacement cover. If original or partially original, it is in stunningly mint condition. If a replacement, it looks very authentic to the piece. Needlepoint Footstool For your consideration I have a beautiful antique needlepoint stool. It measures approximately 12" by 14" by 8-1/2" high. This stool was made pre-1940 in that the screws used in construction underneath are not Phillip's screws but the single slot screws. The tapistry background is dark blue with a beautiful hand stitched floral design. i am not an expert on furniture but I believe the legs are what is referred to as a Queen Ann style. There are a couple of minor scratches to the wood finish but overall condition is very good. much prettier in person! This piece is in wonderful condition for age. Small split in the wood on the inner side of one the middle feet(mentioned only for accuracy) Warm and rich patina. The original backing is fabulous. This piece is an estate piece which had begun the reupholstering process when the woman passed.therefore it will need new upholstery. Not so good if you want a finished piece, but, perfect if you are looking for an almost done piece to go with your existing décor. This is a lovely antique stool with a carved wooden base and a padded needlepoint top. The tapestry background is a golden yellow with a beautiful hand stitched floral design. Measures 14" x 10" x 8" high. The design and the single slot screws suggest a manufacture date prior to 1940. The stool is in good. Vintage condition. It is quite strong. There is some wear to the finish on the carved base, see close-ups. The needlepoint top is very clean, free of odors or stains. Upon very close inspection, there are a few missing stitches(see close-up) on the needlepoint top which is rather charming. Going through the many. Many boxes that I inherited, that were stored in an air conditioned storage down here in Florida, I found a very rare find: this very cool antique footstool that is made out of 100% wood and has a decal on the top that measures 12 1/2" at its widest and 7" at its tallest. The decal depicts an eagle outspread wings with its claws holding onto two American flags, arrows, and a branch with leaves. The two American flags that look like the first American flags made with stars and stripes that were flown between 1977 to 1795. This footstool measures almost 16" at its longest, 9" at its widest, and 10 1/8" at its tallest. This footstool is very sturdy, is made out of 100% heavy wood, and even the nail holes have been sunk-in and filled over. This American eagle footstool has a nice weight to it weighing ... moreover 6 pounds. I know this footstool depicts a decal that represents flags from the 1700's but I don't think this is that old but it could be 100 years or older~I don't know. Being very old, this footstool is in good to very good used antique condition, and the only fault that I could find(which is understandable because of its age) is that some of the decal has some wear spots in it. PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION Up for auction is a Vintage/ Antique Hand Carved Wood Footstool. This has an orange and green fabric that is worn in many spots and should be replaced. The wood legs look like someone painted them brown. They have knicks and chips and flaking in the paint as shown in the pictures. All of the legs are tight. But one of them must be uneven because it rocks when placed on a flat surface. I could not find any markings so I don't know who or when it was made. Antique Small Oval Wood Footstool Early 1900
This is a very nice small oval wood footstool that dates to early 1900. It has spindle legs. It is hand worked and has four small decorative carved squares at the top of the legs. We believe that the piece is oak but it also might be rosewood. It is covered with golden rod color velvet like material that may or may not be original to the piece. The piece show normal wear for age. There is a very slight movement in the piece. We believe that this is due to the fact that the oval piece wood is cut in sections and the legs are fitted in. It does not affect the sturdiness of the piece. It measures 16 inches long by 10 inches wide and 8 inches tall.

Antique Small Round Wood Footstool Early 1900
This is a lovely short round wood footstool. We believe that it is made from oak. The wood is cut in an interesting manner. It shows two areas that appear to be the age rings of the tree. The piece has been refinished. But it wouldn’t take much to restore it to the original condition. It is covered with a pale floral brocade material. It measures 11 inches across and about 4 inches tall with the pillow. It is about 3 inches tall without the pillow. Overall the piece is in very good condition. It does show normal wear for its age. There are a few holes in the bottom of the piece from screws and/or nails. Please see the photos.

This antique. Black lacquer, rectangular, wood footstool is circa 1880. It measures 14 inches long by 10 inches wide by 9 inches tall without the upholstery pillow. It is approximately 11 inches tall with the pillow. It has been nicely re-upholstered with burnt orange color velvet like material and edged with mixed color brocade. It could easily be recovered with your fabric of choice. The rest of the piece appears to be original. The footstool show normal wear for its age. It is sturdy with no loose pieces. Cool little stool is an estate sale find. An excellent example of the craftsmanship of a long-gone age. It's crafted from wood with a multi-tone finish that looks great in sunlight and has a woven cane seat that has some breaks but is plenty strong enough to seat an adult. It has graceful curved but simple lines that call to mind mission or arts and craft style. The stool is 18 1/2 inches tall measured to the top of the curved seat slats(which measure 18 3/4 inches across) The cane seat measures 12 1/4 inches by 12/12 inches across.
