Another one of my estate sale Relics. The stool is in good working condition.And is made from cast iron,and twisted heavy metal wire. I'm not sure what occupation might have used the stool. It appears to be from the late 1800's to the early 1920's,not sure. The stool has a threaded rod that runs thru the center of the ornate cast iron. The rod raises and lowers the seat to the desired height. The piece measures 18in tall x 18in wide x 18 in wide,and you can adjust it to a height of approx 22 + inches. The piece is heavy. Antique Vintage Black Metal 3 leg Milk Stool about 10 inches and 10 1\2 inch diameter top in very heavy metal construction with a few bumps& bruises from all it's years of service. I took it out of the cellar of the house that we moved into about 24 years ago where it's been sitting all these years. This was our 3rd move since the small farm where we had the cow whose name was"Summit Farms Flora" when we all took turns milking her with this milk stool that we've kept all these years and why I have no idea. When we've lost or forgotten or threw out so many other items since those days back in the 1950's. We had a couple horses, the cow, some chickens, some bantam hens, couple ducks, couple geese, and always a dog back then and now. The wood appears to be handcarved and is very thick. There are clover designs on the top and on both of the side handles. It is in good condition for it's age with some expected marks. Dents, cracks in wood, and a slight curve to the wood at the top, but it does have a beautiful patena, see photos. The chair stands 28" tall, is 19 1/4" wide and 14" deep. After researching I found out it is a antique Labor Birthing Chair from around the early 1900's. Antique piano stool. Restored. Mom and Dad collected antiques for decades. Starting in the 1950's, this is from their estate. Dad often would provide cards on some of their antiques. The following is his writeup: Spindle back piano stool. Maple, turns on screw. Chair seat is 14" diameter. Total chair height is 34.5" This chair. With brass claw/ glass ball feet and adjustable seat, is in great condition-see pictures. Local pickup. Or I will work with packing/shipping company of your choice. Antique Walnut Piano Stool Glass Ball Claw Feet H. Holtzman& Sons Columbus Ohio Description: Up for auction is this antique swivel piano stool. Made in the early 1900's by the Henry Holtzman Sons Piano Company, which operated in Columbus Ohio between 1893 and 1959. This highly desirable company produced piano covers, stools, chairs, benches and cabinets. This piano stool is made of solid walnut with beautiful contoured parts and turned legs. The legs rest on cast/iron and glass ball and claw feet. The rotary seat makes it possible to raise and lower the seat and is functioning well. The cast iron bracked is marked Holtzman& Sons Columbus and the center wood is stamped NUT.PAT. JUNE 18 08. The stool has not been restored. And shows wear to the finish and some nicks and scratches commensurate with its age. The wooden seat of the ... morestool does show signs of a previous horizontal split repair(vs. the more common and troublesome cracks seen along the top of these seats) There is still a thin gap in spots and a 10mmx4mm nick on one edge- but the seat is very solid overall. BACK IN THE DAY. THIS TYPE OF FURNITURE WAS MADE FOR A DEFINITE PURPOSE, AND WERE USED UNTIL THAT PURPOSE DRIED UP. THIS ONE WAS HANDY FOR SITTING ON, AT THE TABLE, IN THE WORKSHOP OR IN THE BARN, OR IN THE SITTING ROOM OF A HOME. LATER ON, IT PROBABLY BECAME A STEP STOOL, AS WELL AS A PAINTING STOOL. CERTAINLY WELL DISTRESSED, BOARDS SLAPPED TOGETHER TO MEET A NEED, BUT ALSO DECORATIVE ENOUGH TO PUT ARCHES IN THE DESIGN. MEASURES 12 X 13" ON TOP, STANDS 18 1/4" TALL. This is one of the cutest louis xv footstools I have ever seen. Gorgous flowers and an incredable hand done needlepoint top that is also in excellent shape. Super cute. measures aprox 16 length.12.5width,10 inches tall. it is solid and very good shape. Way cuter in person.Thanks for looking.

It does have some wear and a few surface cracks but a little Howard's mahogany and she will look brand new. Vintage Mid Century Industrial Stool This stool still has its original seat padding and cover. The seat is stuffed and padded with cotton and hay. The stool measures 27" tall x 13" wide.
