Antique Vintage Retro COSCO Step Stool Ivory Cream Vinyl Padded Seat
This is a vintage COSCO brand step stool from the mid 50's. It is in great condition and shows little wear for its age. This stool has a vinyl covered. Padded seat. There are two small spots in the vinyl on the seat. They look a little bigger than a pin hole and can be seen in the last photo(one near the upper right and one near the lower left. The bottom step has some light rust starting and there is some rust spotting on the metal legs, as would be expected with a piece of this age. There is no deep rust and it should clean up pretty easily. Overall the stool really looks great and presents nicely. Please check out the pics. and email with any questions. Thanks for looking! Period Antique Queen Anne footstool, vtg, pegged,wood,cloth,old furniture,stool
A Queen Anne style antique footstool being offered as found in the basement of an estate sale years ago. I purchased it with a full intent of having it restored and recovered. But it is untouched from when it was acquired. Since it is pegged, I thought that it may be period, but I am not an expert in this field. It probably is at least 19th century in age. My thoughts were that it was probably English, but I do not know the exact origin either. The four thick secondary woods appear to be pine. I am not sure of the legs, maybe chestnut? The pine forming the legs is quite thick measuring about 1 1/2" in thickness. The four sides appear to have peg holes for joining, yet the pegs are missing. Each leg appears to be made in 3 parts. The main part has a peg and is attached to the pine with the peg(a small crack is visible and I can see the ... morepeg) Each side piece of the leg is also attached with a peg. The stool is very sturdy, so I think someone has applied nails at a later period to provide strength. I definitely see nails. I believe that most of the nails on the sides were from old upholstery. There is a cloth top, but I think that the stuffing was applied ontop of the top. The stool measures about 18" in length, 15 1/2" in width and about 10" tall(now, without cushion top) It is in good condition as shown, but needs to be reworked to be functional and possibly refinished if that look is desired. It is being offered as found and untouched by me.

Antique deeply carved wooden small stool This is a small deeply carved antique stool. Not sure what had gone on underneath- it has both brackets and hinges, and I am uncertain which came first- it may have once been a folding stool? But whatever happened, it was a very long time ago! see pic. The carving is beautiful and is on the seat part at well as at either end. It measures 13 3/4" x 7 1/4" x and 6 1/2 is high. This is an antique A Merriam piano/organ stool that is adjustable. It measures 21" tall when the seat is at its lowest. It has beautiful iron claw feet that hold glass balls. All glass is in good condition. Alittle scratched on bottom, but not chipped or cracked. It is very tight and sturdy. There is a crack in the top of seat( I had a nice crocheted cushion on top) but it is still tight and seat does not wiggle or move. It screws and turns up and down very nicely. Antique Small Round Foot Stool ~ Needlepoint Top ~ Cast Iron Legs ~ 1897-1900s
I am offering an antique small round Foot Stool with a Needlepoint top. It measures approx 10" in diameter and 7-1/4" tall. It is a wood base with four cast iron curved legs. The Needlepoint is an off brown color with what looks like a basket of flowers in center. The needlepoint is tight and all in really good shpe. With a a few loose threads, could snip off, but I have left as is and I am not sure how old Needlepoint is. Not sure if all is original, but now has what looks like painted gold around wood edge of stool, on the round balls under edge between each leg, and gold on the outside of the 4 legs, black inside. Around the approx 1" edge it is worn and has knicks, pictures will show. The tacks holding in the needlepoint are the original brown color. The legs are fastened tight with screws and one must have come out at ... moresometime because a newer screw has been used on one leg, and a picture will show. It has been in my family since new and was purchased from Wormser Furn. Co. in Fresno, CA. You will see where someone wrote 1897 on back, not sure who, but Wormser Furn bult a new store in 1903. It measures approx 10" in diameter. is 7-1/4" tall and weighs 3 pounds before packaging. There are shadows and light reflections from my camera in pictures. Sorry my pictures do not it justice. This is an amazing piano stool from the Victorian Era. A time period characterized by incredible ornamentation and attention to detail. It is a whopping 26" tall, 14.5" side-to-side and 14.5" front-to-back. This piano stool has claw feet, an intricate bottom support system of pillars and legs, and a swivel seat with a raised 10" backing for comfort. The seat swivels perfectly with no issues. The gap beneath the seat and the rest of the piano stool(where the swivel mechanism is) shows some glue work to secure the seat to the rest of the stool, and in no way interferes with the swivel mechanism. It is only visible when one turns the stool on its side and looks inside the gap; otherwise, it cannot be noticed. Small Antique Carved Mission Style Shoe Shine Cobblers Wood Stool Bench w/Drawer
This auction is for a beautiful vintage shoe shine stool. It is a wonderful piece as it is carved on 3 sides and even has the original tools mounted inside. There is a metal shoe frame mounted in the box so the customer could set their shoe on it for polishing. There is also a really neat measuring tool of some sort mounted in the box. This opens and closes by turning a key style handle. Also included is a shoe brush with bristles at one end and a pick on the back side of the brush. All the tools are in great condition. What I love about this piece is that it is a perfect size to use as a stool and display. It also is practical as it has a drawer in which you can store things in. The vintage fabric on top of the stool is sound and looks good. There is a crack in the wood on the uncarved side of the stool. 4 Antique Indian Face Head Dress Cast Iron 2" Glass Ball Claw Stool Table Legs
This is an antique lot of four matching ball and claw cast iron and glass ball stool or table feet that are true survivors. Very old these have what appears to us to be an Indian Head with Feather Head Dress in cast iron and the glass ball portion is a little under 2" across. The one glass ball has most of the inclusions that are still intact I can only feel one of the chips missing the rest can be seen but not felt. These glass balls and show inclusions to each glass ball. Not sure what is factory made and what was from decades if not a century of use. The top of the leg where the taper goes in is around 1" wide and overall each leg is nearly 5" long. All four have no finish on them and are as found with some cool original patina that is surface rust and none is actually damaged in any way. Beautiful Victorian/Deco design with spiraling intricate framework. Antique Elm Stool With Rush Seat In Excellent Condition. Real Bargain.
Lovely looking stool in excellent condition. Although I have listed the stool in victorian. I think the balustraded legs have more of a Georgian look to them? I really don't know the true age of this item. Though I am pretty certain it is old and original. Would suit an artist, weaver or lace maker ect. I have looked through ebay pages and cant find any similar. Measures approximately 67.5cm high and 37cm square at the bottom legs and 32cm square at top seat. Available for auction is this amazing stool. This is a very old well made stool. Everything on the stool is still very tight. Nothing loose or wobbly. The stool is from the 1800's. The claw feet are huge and authentically very old. They are not newer made to look old. The claws are cast iron and have faces on each one and the crystal balls are about the size of baseballs. The stool it self is wooden painted black. The seat on top is not original but still old and in good condition. The stool is NOT adjustable. ANTIQUE 9-1/2" TOP-OF-STACK OAK WOOD FOOTSTOOL This sale is for an old small Top of the Stack oak wood footstool that was recently removed from an estate in the Cumberland Valley of Pennsylvania. It is shown as the top stool in a group picture with an average size stool to indicate its relative small size. It measures 9-1/2" long x 4-1/2" wide x 4-3/4" tall. It features nicely scalloped double aprons. Rounded bootjack legs with cut-outs, and nice worn finish on all surfaces. It remains in good condition. It does show the normal imperfections of old primitive footstools including tight separations. Partially exposed nails on the underside of the top and missing slivers of wood. THE TOP 12" X 12" IT IS BEAUTIFULLY INLAID WITH 57 INSETS AND 2 HAND CARVED BUTTERFLIES. IT HAS A RICH DARK PATINA AND ALLIGATORING TO THE FINISH THAT ONLY COMES WITH 100 YEARS OF AGING. WE BELIEVE THE MAIN LEGS AND CROSS PIECES ARE OAK AND THE TOP AND INLAID WOOD IS PROBABLY PINE OR BIRCH. I HAVE SHOWN PHOTOS OF EACH LEG AND SIDE. OTHER THAN SOME WHAT LOOKS ... moreLIKE OLD PAINT SPLATTERS REMOVED. THE FINISH IS EXCELLENT. WE FOUND THIS STOOL IN SYRACUSE. NY SEVERAL YEARS AGO WHILE VISITING MY HUSBAND'S FAMILY. ALTHOUGH WE DO NOT HAVE PROVENANCE WE BELIEVE IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN MADE BY STICKLEY OR POSSIBLY MADE AS A GIFT FOR A CHILD BY A STICKLEY EMPLOYEE. THERE WERE STICKLEY WORKSHOPS IN FAYETTEVILLE, EASTWOOD AND MANLIUS NY. WE HAVE PROBABLY PURCHASED 25 STICKLEY PIECES OVER THE YEARS IN THE SYRACUSE AREA.
