ANTIQUE PIANO or PUMP ORGAN STOOL with GLASS BALL & CLAW FEET
Up for bid is this nice antique. Black painted, piano or pump organ stool, with glass ball and claw feet. While there is a crack under the seat, the stool is structurally sound, so much that it takes my weight of 280lbs and still spins with ease. Sure it could use some glue and a few clamps, but if you didn't have to and it still works regardless, why would you bother. The stool stands approximately 17-18" high. It could be stripped down to reveal the original finish as well as the actual wood, species unknown. A nice piece as a project or just the way it is. Shipping and insurance will be $45.00 due to weight lone, except to Hawaii, Alaska and all international destinations, where I will ship to, however, costs tend to be a bit higher. Life marches on adding to ones age as it goes. The time has come for me to downsize. This uniquely fab black linen and painted black wood foot stool-parlor ottoman stands a regal 7 inches in height(even taller when pillow top is fluffed) with a supportive stand being that of 9 inches across in diameter. I do believe from closer inspection one of the foot stools original legs has been moved to a new location-leaving behind a view of where it was at. The attached pillow top displays an impressive needlepoint in a peasant design. Impressive but not over the top. Pillow stool skirt is attached as one piece. I did appear at one time one of the wooden legs had a metal medallion with an identification plaque on it. However at this time it is gone-leaving behind the circular area where it had been! This wonderful primitive milking stool was discovered in an old barn just this past summer in North East Wisconsin covered in lots of dirt. And probably old cow manure. I think I did a pretty good job of cleaning it up and saving as much original green paint as possible. One of the legs cracked in half and I did glue it as shown in photo it just to let you know. The legs are loose in each hole but secure that they will not come out. They could be trimmed on the ends to set more level if wanted. It is full of old worm holes probably dating back to the late 1800s as it takes a long time to get like this. I would sand it lightly ... moreand refinish with Danish oil or something to your liking. Primitive antique foot stool wooden bench 2 layers of vintage textile cover
Cutest little footstool! All wood with chippy paint and a cloth-covered top with two layers of textiles that appear to be original. The seat pad is detached. See the pictures for the best description of the fabric- its a dusty rose color with a woven floral pattern, feels like a cotton texture and there are no rips but it shows its age. There is another layer of fabric underneath this covering but I did not remove the top cover to investigate. Both textiles are held in place with small tacks and are intact enough to clean up or add your own layer of history- perhaps a needlepoint. No weird/bad smell. Dimensions are 14" long by 10" wide by 7" tall at the frame plus about 3/4" for the pad. The joints and nails are in good condition but I would not plan to use this as a step stool(unless by a child) I did not find any splits ... moreor cracks in the wood frame and all of the nail heads look alike(a little rusty) so no signs of modern repairs. Just an adorable little ole thing! Very charming and functional; picture this holding your stack of books next to a favorite reading chair. Great primitive decorator piece! Vintage Antique Signed Piano Organ Stool Adjustable Claw and Glass Ball Feet
For your consideration is a nice maple wood piano stool. The stool is marked"TONK CHICAGO NEW YORK" on the cast iron threaded seat support. The stool is very solid and adjust in height from 19 1/2" 25" and has a 14 1/2" diameter seat. The glass balls on the feet are free of anh cracks and chips. The stool has had the seat reglued and overall refinished at some point in its past and surfaces have a smooth sealed finish. There is a color variation on the base of the stool. Almost looks like shadowing in the finish, not sure what it is but it does look nice. I took lots of pictures of different sides so you can see. Recent Wisconsin farmstead estate find is this rare 1800's foot stool in the shape of a heart. The wood is oak and the s eat is covered in old faded green velvet. The oa k is in good condition and untouched. I did not oil this or clean it. The velvet top shows much wear but is still intac t and I would not change it. Amazing piece of American Folk art. It is about 14 inches long and 10 inches wide at its widest poin t and about 7 1/2 inches tall. This came out of an old farm house and is in original condition. Offered is this unusually-shaped vintage/antique large wooden stool or small table. It is approx. 17 1/4" high. It is approx. 20 1/2" wide and 15 1/2" deep at the bottom. The legs slope in and the curved top is approx. 19 3/4" wide and 12 1/2" deep at its deepest point. I don't know what kind of wood it is for sure but looks like old pine. The stool is in very good condition. Sturdy and solid. It has been painted several times. Most recently black, but the bottom is unpainted and shows some age. The top is made from two pieces of wood; it's not a crack. This interesting piece would make a great low table or even a mini desk for a small child. The upholstery appears to be original and is very worn. It is red velvet. The cushion is firm to sit on and the wood edge around the base of the cushion is reeded and has been painted bright gold.
