Antique Hand Made Natural Oak Wood Industrial Bench Bar Stool with Foot Ring
Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE This is a really great example of beautifully hand-crafted furniture. The attractive curved 4-leg configuration is very stable and still in excellent shape. It was obviously designed to stand up to a heavy workload. But the stool has seen its share of use over the years. There are small saw marks in a couple places on the seat edge. The seat has apparently come loose at some time in the past and been reattached with L-brackets. Although this may not be original, it is very sturdy. The foot ring does have a split in it. These things can be observed in the photos. The chair could be restored by a skilled woodworker. Approximately 28” tall x 15” square. Please examine the photos closely and email any questions. Fantastic early draftsman swivel adjustable stool made of oak with cast iron hardware. The stool is a unfinished project from an estate sale. The cast iron parts have been refinished in black paint and the oak has been stripped and clean. There is a split in the seat and previously had been glued possibly before the restoration process began. The 5/16" thumb screw is missing. Very sturdy clean and very close to being able to put your finish on. Adjustable from 22" to 25-26" and the seat measures 14-1/2 across. Feel free to ask questions and thank you for looking.

This is a very Nice Chas Parker CO Oak Swivel Top Adjustable Antique Glass Ball Claw Foot Piano Stool made in Meriden CT. It is a wonderful piece and in very good shape. It has been very well taken care of and is out of an Estate. The glass balls on the feet are chipped pretty badly. Still Very sturdy and a wonderful piece. Piano stool is 19 inches tall when adjusted all the way down. I have not refinished or retouched the piece. Dowel legs look on good solid condition. Not wobbly at all. Someone toes the legs with string to he it together they way they used to to reinforce and strengthen and prevent the legs from breaking. ANTIQUE PILGRIM CENTURY ENGLISH OAK JOINT STOOL WITH BEAUTIFUL MOLDED APRON
This antique Pilgrim century English oak joint stool is circa late 17th/early 18th century. It has a nice thumb-molded single plank top. Which appears to be original, while still retaining its original pegs. There is a beautiful molded apron on all four sides, and nice vase and ball turned legs, supported by squared stretchers. It also has its original feet. The construction of this joint stool is pegged, mortise and tenon. The surface is a nice warm brown with a pleasing patina. The joint stool measures 21 1/2" high x 18" wide x 10 1/2" deep. It is in good condition overall. There is a partial crack on the top. From age. One leg shows wear or damage(as shown in the last photo) but it has since been stabilized, showing no further damage. It is a very sturdy stool, with no loose joints. There are two repairs to the apron, one ... moreon the shorter side, and one on the longer side. These repairs have been done meticulously, and I am mentioning them just for accuracy. Please zoom in on all of the pictures for detailed close-ups. This joint stool is really a nice survivor of an earlier time. With good color and wonderful form. Antique rare oak industrial draft stool chair adjustable ornate metal leather
Rare unique antique 150 to 200 years old or older industrial oak draft stool goes up and down. It is one of the most beautiful draft stool I have ever seen. It has an ornate steel cover under the stool and a heavy cast iron underneath the stool to allow the seat to go up and down. The legs arch out to give this stool a retro look. The back is real thick leather. Under the leather is straw padding. I have owned this for years and I have decided to part with it. There is no name and I have tried to find one like this and I have been unsuccessful. I have seen oak ones but not with the ornate steel cover. It is almost in perfect condition just normal small nicks and it goes up and down smoothly. It is hard to put a price on this but when I looked on ebay and antique stores, I could not find any like mine but those that looked a bit like mine ... morewere $500 to over $1000. This is one of a kind item. I honestly do not know what the cost to ship this to you will be as it is heavy and a large package. Probably c.1680 vintage or thereabouts. Lovely Stool with molded apron with shaped corners. Molded edge single plank top. Splayed turned legs. Retains a lot of it's original toe or hoof-shaped feet on bottom. Pegged and mortice& tennon construction(several extra very old square nails added as well on the top in it's history) Nice old dark color to wood which has a coat of vintage varnish on surface which has wear to it as found in estate. This piece is coming fresh out of a nice estate that was filled with nice-quality antique items this past weekend. I assume it is probably an English stool. But uncertain of origin myself. This piece is full of charm from the rich honey hues of the English oak through to the splayed feet and artisan construction. However the outstanding feature is surely the four animal carvings of the finials terminating each leg: intricately carved in crouching poses each one is delightful and charming. Solidly constructed the cabinet has twin folio slides with leather handles and would serve well as a childs stool. Side table or foot stool. Small in size but large in appeal with solid joints and construction. Delivered waxed& polished ready for the home. Antique 1908 Oak Piano Stool, Ball & Claw Feet, Holtzman & Sons FOR PARTS
This is a beautiful stool. Except for the damage: The grain is great and the color is still quite rich although there is wear to the finish in places. Particularly to the seat; I'm not sure if this has ever been refinished. I purchased it with the thought of repairing it but we're moving next year and I need to clear out my projects. The center column is missing half; also missing is the rod that would have fed down through the column. The ball bearing parts are missing too. If a person was going to use the seat there are a couple of places that may or may not want filling in. And also there is some sort of hard, dried substance on it. The legs are loose so this could not/should not bear weight in its present condition. The legs appear to be without cracks but consider this stool to be for parts or repair as it has extensive damage ... moreand I may miss mentioning something. The four metal bird-like claw feet are in excellent condition with a beautiful patina and great detail; there is some rust present. The glass balls are all present. Overall they are in good condition and look great when the stool is in proper position. However. One has a very shallow chip and another has its back side broke off in a peculiarly flat, smooth fashion so maybe it's a production flaw. The screws look to be original. The iron plate on the underside of the seat reads HOLTZMAN& SONS COLUMBUS O. I'm not sure of the age of this stool but Holtzman was in operation from the 1860's to 1959 and remained family-owned for the duration. I believe. This looks to be from its earlier decades. It has a patent date stamped underneath of June 18, 08. I will be offering a choice between standard and priority shipping so make sure you compare costs at checkout. Condition- the top whilst 17th Century may be a historical repair/replacement as a small groove/mitre is apparent to the underside of the seat board indicating that this may have been recycled from another piece of early furniture. Vintage early 1900's Mission Oak foot stool in all original condition. Great Arts& Crafts form but it is unsigned and I do not know the maker. Nice larger than normal size at 16" tall. 19-3/4" long, and 15-3/4" wide. It is all solid oak and retains its original finish. There are some small chips at the foot areas but otherwise just normal surface wear. The leather top is worn and also has tiny paint dots here and there. I have had this stool in my home for 20+ years and it is now for sale as I prepare to move and downsize. This 19th century foot stool or bench comes from my own 35 year collection. It is made of Oak with wonderful hand carved legs that are wood pegged into the body(Photos# 8 and# 9) which was painted brown and decorated with red flowers and green leaves. It measures 6 1/4" high with a 2 1/4" apron and the top measures 10 1/2" by 10 3/8" with a 3/4" wide by 1/4" thick border which is held by small round head nails. Although I purchased this at a local Antique Flea Market. It reminds me of some Anglo Indian pieces that I've seen but I am unsure of it's actual origin. It is in good to very good used condition with some cracks in the top, nicks throughout and the paint decoration is s little worn. This is a very Rare 1907 Gustav Stickley signed oak gout or monk stool that is in 100% original condition. I think they made these up to 1915 so I cant date it exactly but it is clearly at least 100 years old. This is the Craftsman oak square 12" X 12" and around 4.5" high. The leather covering has some cracking but I took photos from every angle of this rare. Original stool. There is some typical scuffs and scrapes to the edge of the legs, otherwise the finish is as it was when it came from Gustav's shop. Has the rare red label that is nearly 100% intact, look for yourself in the photos. Virginia estate. The adjustable seat is 23"27' tall with a top diameter of 13-3/4" At the base. The four splayed legs span 13-1/2" It features four turned and splayed wood legs that are capped with a cast iron top attaching to the swivel round seat. It has 8 stretchers. One of which is likely an old replacement, and most unique of all is the dual height bentwood foot rests. These heavy duty footrests are attached to the legs with bolts. The attachment to the seat has the word PATENT embossed in the iron. It remains in very good condition. But does show excessive wear on ... morea small area of one footrest. The stool is structurally sound with tight joints. And it sits level and steady on any flat surface. It measures 24" tall with a top diameter of 13" At the base. The four splayed legs span 13" It features four splayed wood legs with the original metal glides at the bottom of each one. 8 original stretchers, and a worn finish. It remains in very good condition. The legs are secure to the top and the stool is structurally sound with tight joints. Small slivers of wood are missing from the worn. But smooth top seat. A better than average Arts& Crafts Stool. A quality piece. Maker marked with monikers on top. I believe it to be English made. I believe this is a studio piece and not mass produced. I have seen a lot of mission and arts and craft items over the years- this one stands out. Great solid original condition. 16" high x 14" deep x 19" wide. Original patina. This week we have this early 17th Century oak english joint stool or small table. It appears that this piece is all orignal without any new wooden pieces as you find with many other items from this period. proper wear to stretchers and top. All joints are hand wooden pegs with mortice and tenon joints. One leg is a bit shorter and the piece rocks slightly.
