Flowers are shades of reds and pinks and whites, with green foliage. Needlepoint is attached to board(see photos) and is removable. The body of the footstool wooden with a dark stain. The needlepoint is in wonderful condition with no tears or holes or pulls, and looks to have been attached onto a new board. Wooden stool is also very sturdy and in great condition with normal wear in the form of scrapes and scratches. Found at an estate sale, I do not have any other information about this item, when it was made, where it is from, or how old it is. This pretty footstool would compliment any Victorian lover's decor, but would also fit well into the English/French Country decorated home. Scratches, and rubs to the wood, with examples shown in the images below. The fabric is in good condition, free of any tears of holes. There is one larger chip on the underside(image 15 below) though this does not affect the sturdiness of the piece.
