This is a cool industrial Stool that looks to be made by toledo from what I've seen. Probably 1930's 1940's period. The seat is cool and has old wheat pennies inlaid in the seat. The seat looked to originally been an army green color from back rest. The paint is worn off and there is some rust on it as seen. It is very sturdy! The measurements are posted in photos. Here we have a vintage or antique Machine Age industrial drafting stool by UHL Toledo. This stool is the authentic item but it is missing it's label. As you can see from the photos there is some wear and paint damage as well as some mild rusting but it is in great condition as you can see from the photos an awesome look. The seat of this stool is about 24 inches tall and it's surface area is about 16 inches by 14 inches. As shown in the photos the back rest is about 38 inches tall. The height of the chair is no longer able to adjust. When it was in factory use it seems that they customized the chair so that it could not adjust higher but the stool does swivel. There is no makers markings anywhere that I could find on this item. It resembles the Toledo stools though. This item works well and is in vintage condition. There is plenty of wear on this piece. Antique Machine Age Industrial Chair Stool Steel Do-More Casters Adjustable UHL
Here we have a great Machine Age industrial chair. This chair is made of steel and I have seen people listing them as UHL Toledo and also as Do-More stools. I have not seen any markings on this chair to indicate either of them as being the brand. The casters are Bassick casters and as you can see from the photos there is some wear and chipping to the wheels. Photo 10 shows the worst of the chipping to one of the wheels. As you can see from the photos this chair has been repainted and maybe recovered but it was obviously done awhile ago. The back rest of the chair is about 31 inches tall and the back rest is about 15 inches wide. The seat is about 17 1/2 inches tall and is 12 1/2 inches by 16 inches. The back rest of the chair is adjustable as you can see. The seat of the chair looks like it may adjust but I wasn't able to figure out how ... moreit does so. Presenting for sale this old industrial drafting medical doctor dentist stool. It is a wonderful old piece. Very solid and sturdy. It looks to be all original. Overall has age apropiate patina. Shows really great. A faboulous piece to display in your Mid Century Industrial Uran Modern collection. The paint is wore on the base. Metal caps on the legs have scuffs and dents. The top is leather. It has crazing and some small cracks. See photos please. It has a cast metal base with the original castors. The seat height is ajustable. I have not cleaned oiled or waxed this. For your consideration is this great looking antique adjustable stool. The Ash wood base is sturdy and measures 15" wide x 30 1/2" 36" tall. The base has been cleaned and then given a coat of hand rubbed furniture wax. The poplar seat has traces of the red finish here and there. The seat has been sanded smooth and has 3 coats of water base varnish. The seat adjustment has an early patent date of 1895. The bentwood footrest has a few cracks and is slightly out of round as is typical over time. The piece is sturdy and is nothing that detracts from its appearance or use. The piece has gouges. Antique Industrial Piano Stool Steampunk Wood and Ornate Cast Iron Victorian
Up for auction is an Antique Industrial Stool. Made of wood and cast iron. It looks to be pre 1900, but I can't say for sure. It is in good condition and has the PERFECT patina. The center section is all wood and has 3 cast iron legs, the seat has the original wood. It looks like the seat cover has been professionally recovered, there are some cracks here and there, the bottom of the seat is separated at the factory seam- just needs clamped and glued. The cast iron is a bit rough and could be sand blasted to smooth it, but that is your preference. The seat is adjustable, one it is raised it gets a bit wobbly, but at the bottom it is nice and sturdy. It measures 19" at the lowest point and raises from there, the base of the feet is 15" wide, the seat is 13 3/4" wide. If you have any questions please ask. Thanks.

Here we have an amazing Machine Age industrial stool made from the C. A. Cook Co. of Cambridge. Mass. This stool is adjustable in a few ways. The back rest adjusts up and down and also back and forth depending on how good of posture you would to have. The seat of the chair also adjusts in height. from as low as about 20 inches to as high as about 24 inches. The seat looks similar to a butcher block table top and is about 16 inches by 13 inches. Antique Industrial Adjustable Cast Iron Steel Stool Seat Chair like UHL Toledo
This is an absolutely killer industrial chair/ stool. With adjustable seat back. The two things that really stick out to me as unusual with this are the seat back assembly and the splayed out feet. The height of the seat is approx. 18" With the seat back(as configured currently) at 31" though it can adjust higher or lower to desired height. The feet create a rectangle of approx. 13 1/2" x 14 1/2" The seat is approx. 14 1/2" in diameter. The only minor issue I can discern is that the front piece of the seat is seperated(totally stable as is. Since the metal ring is supporting underneath) and just needs to have some wood glue put into the crack to tighten it back up. Visible in last photo. Sold with No Reserve. vintage Antique Industrial Toledo UHL Drafting drawing Stool NICE
Up for auction is. Super nice vintage Toledo UHL Drafting Stool. It is in great vintage condition. It has the original snap on padded green vinyl covers. Which have been protecting the wood underneath. The wood is in great shape, with no chips or cracks, just a few scratches and spots- see pictures. The base is in good shape as well, with just a little surface rust here and there. All functions work great, the seat adjusts from 23" to 31" all the feet are original and move freely, the back adjusts as well. The seat measures 16" wide x 14" deep, the back is 14" wide x 6 1/2" high. The foot rest is 16" diameter. Part of the original label sticker is still intact on bottom of stool. The original covers are in nice shape as well, they snap on and off easily. There is one small less than 1" rip on seat and ... moresome off the stitching on back is starting to come loose. For your consideration is an updated vintage factory stool. The stool features a distressed painted finish and great original wooden seat. The seat measures 23 3/4" with the back 35" tall as shown. The screws in the back have been replaced to facilitate the back adjustment. Which is approximately 3" The wooden seat is 14 1/2" in diameter and is stamped by the mfg. HALLOWELL" The base measures 14" x 14" square. The piece has been disassembled, painted and distressed and the seat sanded, sealed and given a hand rubbed wax finish. Each of the four legs has eight pre-drilled holes so that the height can be adjusted- this is done simply with two screws on each leg. Which was once a powerhouse in the machine tool industry(J&L, Bryant Grinder, ... moreFellows Gear Shaper, etc) There is a very good chance it came from one of the local shops at some point in time(an awful lot of artifacts from those shops is sitting in the homes and shops in this area) This appears to be a Yankee solution to a shop need. The oak chair top is by Marble& Shattuck and I think was originally an office chair. It was at some point married up with the old industrial green tubular steel stool base. It works fine. The tube the post under the chair sits in has a bronze bushing in it as a bearing. The chair is somewhat wobbly in that bushing. So perhaps a new bushing is needed. There is a set screw on the side of the tube at the top of the base. If you use it, then the stool won't swivel. Sizes: 20-1/2" wide at the foot rest. 23" deep from the seat back to the foot rest in front, 43-1/2" high at the seat back, 26-1/2" high when the seat is at its lowest point The oak seat has a big split in it as shown. It needs to be glued in my opinion. The side braces also have splits in the wood down low underneath. The finish is quite worn with scratches. Scuffs and such from years of use and handling. I have had this for years and love the look; it has the best seat; VERY distressed with the center worn to the extent it is depressed at least a half inch or so.some marks on the oak. A few nicks, what appears to be a light water mark.I LOVE IT that way.when you flip the stool over it looks like the seat was either replaced at some time or reattached. The iron base is great with a few signs of what appears to be old paint. It sits about 30 inches fully extended with 7 inches to go down; thus its about 24 to 30 inches high. Vintage Industrial Wood Metal Adjustable Stool Antique Welded Hand made?
For your consideration is this wonderful bar or kitchen stool. Has a great industrial look. True vintage to antique. You spin the sit to adjust the height from 27" to 21" in height. Large 1" acme threads. Seat has a tiny bit of wobble but is strong and not in any danger of breaking. look at the photos showing how this is mounted! Excellent vintage look with welded large nuts and bent rod creating the frame-all of which have a very rusty like exterior. Because of this I wonder if this is an old home made stool or did a company actually build it this way? 1 break in the foot rest that needs a weld. Threads are oiled good now but will need periodic re-oiling. Antique 1900 Industrial Cast Iron Dentist Medical Chair / Stool - Very Good
Antique/ vintage 1900 industrial cast iron dentist dental medical chair/ stool. Arms are stainless steel and it has many adjustment features. It sits upright. Push the foot pedal on the floor and it reclines all the way back, or stop it at any level. The brace for holding the head raises up and down( does not tighten all the way) and pivots all the way back. The seat is like a piano stool, and it spins to raise it. Both arms can have height adjustments, and can be swung in and out. Chair is all original and appears to be complete, except for 1 of the leg floor grommets. Most moving parts, from what we can tell, also seem to work correctly. Chair is old an there are always going to be adjustments that will have to be made. Vintage Industrial Wood Metal Adjustable Drafting Stool Antique Operator Stool
This is a stool loaded with charactor! I was told it was an artist or drafting table but also told it was a operator or engineers stool. Measuring approx 31.5" without raising it up(this includes the high of the metal pad( on the bottom which was obviously not original to the piece but could be removed) Legs measure approx 19.5" across(at bottom) and stool seat is just over 14" in diameter. I wish I could read the original tag on the stool(see pictures. Tag is slightly better than pictured but hard to read) I can read the word mahogany on the tag but there is also a word preceeding it which I cannot. I am having trouble reading anything inside the company insignia. It appears to be a person standing in the center but again, I am unsure. I would LOVE to know where it came from but have come up with no results. The leather cover ... moreon the seat(seat is not solid. It is a wooden rim with hollow middle) is tattered around edges. It appears to be a blue type fabric underneath it, looking from the underside I do not believe it is original. The mechanics of the chair appear to be in working order. Chair raises and lowers with a bit of play. The wooden arched foot rest has 3 spots of cracking but it is solid and this appears to only be through the outer layer of wood with the deepest of the cracks less than half way through the wood. It does not seem to affect the integrity at all. One of the wooden plugs on the bottom of the legs(covering an old flat head screw) is gone, the other 3 are in tact. Vintage Antique TOLEDO Metal Furniture Co UHL drafting stool /industrial chair
You are bidding on a vintage wood and metal drafting stool. It has a label that reads: Toledo Metal Furniture Co. UHL. Industrial made wood and steel construction. Original sticker on the frame stating UHL steel. Great comfortable stool with adjustable swivel seat and adjustable back. The seat height is 28 inches at the lowest and can go up about 4 to 5 inches. The seat itself is 16 inches x 14 inches. The seat has lots of wear with nicks and even looks like cigarette burns. Such patina is hard to beat! The seat has been removed for shipping. Four bolts hold it in place and are on the seat with the seat. This stool has been made to last and it certainly has! Very heavy. Could be used as a bar stool or artists stool. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING!

Legs are made of 1" tubular steel and wrapped at the bottom with 7/8" pressed. Bent and welded steel. This chair has fantastic patina. There is a great little tag on the back that reads; Property of Defense Plant Corporation an Instrumentality of the United States Government" Probably dating the chair to the World War Two Era or earlier. The chair may need some adjusting to be suitable for everyday use. Measures approx. 18 1/2" and can be raised another 5" or so. The back can also be raised and lowered approx 6" up or down. Front to back. The seat measures approx 12" and side to side is 16" The base measures ... moreapprox. 15" square. When I brought it into the office.
