An Antique most likely dating to the late 1800's Cast Iron Base and pole Steel Top and Leather Seat Stool. most likely from a Ice Cream Fountain but maybe from a Bar or other industrial setting. Super Steampunk Item. the top pole and base is black. the pole shows lots of pitting from age. the cast iron base is nice and clean. there are issues with the leather top in several places it is worn and shows it's age. the seat is 12 3/4 inches round. the stool stands 26 inches tall and the base is 9 inches across. please look at the pictures closely and ask questions. ready to ship.

7 rare antique heavy bronze ornate 1800s bar foot rail rest pole stool bracket
This is a stunningly rare set of 7 antique 19th century solid bronze Victorian bar foot rail rest mounts/arms. they are made from very thick bronze and are extremely heavy. also have acquired a wonderful patina from age. they have nice Victorian detailing and done in high relief. the circular end has nicely ribbed edge. each measures 6 3/4 inches tall by 3 3/4 inches wide and are 2 1/2 inches thick. very rare set. Seats are all cast iron& steel, no wood. Each of the stools have a weight of 20 + lbs. Each have their original white enameled porcelain finish. Show no signs that they have ever been painted. Three of the screws in one of the seats appear as not original(as shown) Considering their age& in comparison to the others shown in research. These are in quite rarely seen, ... morewonderful condition, very sturdy, show some signs of age related wear to the porcelain finish, some loss of shine as well as scratches to the top of each seat. Some chipping is also present. One of the pedestals has an attached(by screw which can be removed) chrome finish ring which is broken off, which may have originally been some type of foot rest. Please note: dark blotches shown in the photos of the seat tops are only shadows. These were purchased from a local estate sale. Sold as both coming from a local area Drugstore dating in the 1920's. Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE This is a really great example of beautifully hand-crafted furniture. The attractive curved 4-leg configuration is very stable and still in excellent shape. It was obviously designed to stand up to a heavy workload. But the stool has seen its share of use over the years. There are small saw marks in a couple places on the seat edge. The seat has apparently come loose at some time in the past and been reattached with L-brackets. Although this may not be original, it is very sturdy. The foot ring does have a split in it. These things can be observed in the photos. The chair could be restored by a skilled woodworker. Approximately 28” tall x 15” square. Please examine the photos closely and email any questions. This is an Antique Cast Iron Swivel Base Soda Fountain Ice Cream Parlor Bar Stool. I purchased this about 17 years ago. Planning on using it in my kitchen dining area when we remodeled. It has been in my shop all this time. Honestly I forgot I even had it out there and found it while cleaning it out. It is a beautiful piece, with great detail around the bottom of the base. It is in perfect swiveling condition. It has the holes to bolt down if you like, but it is not necessary to bolt it down. It will stand without falling. It was originally use in a ice cream parlor. You don't necessary have to use it for a stool. There are so many other creative uses for this case iron base. I have seen others, but none with the cool detail design around the bottom of the base, that's rare! It is inches tall. It is 2 feet tall.

For your consideration are these three absolutely amazing solid brass base swivel stools. I took them out of my buddies grandpas basement bar. They were in the house for around 70 years. Not sure where they were before that. They all work just as they should! They have had a removable cover made for them in the 60s. Base mounts to the floor with one bolt on the inside of the base. So there is no mounting hardware showing. Wood frame seat swivels on a wood insert with a metal bussing held in place with a single screw. Base is solid brass! Not brass plated. ITS COVERED WITH MULTIPLE LAYERS OF PAINT AS YOU CAN SEE THE WHITE AND RED PAINT UNDER THE BLACK PAINT. THE SEAT IS A SWIVEL SEAT THAT JUST SITS IN THE HOLE AND IS SOLID AND ALSO IS COVERED WITH LAYERS OF PAINT. VERY NICE AND STRONG WITH NO CRACKS OR CHIPS. THIS HAS A GREAT DESIGN AND AFTER TALKING TO THE LOCALS, SOME STATED THAT THEY BELEIVED THIS CAME FROM A SODA FOUNTAIN BAR, AND OTHERS STATED THAT THEY BELEIVE THIS WAS FROM AN OLD MACHINIST SHOP. The 11” diameter oak seat folds up and rests onto bracket. The cast iron bracket would attach to a vertical support or wall. Because of the design of the metal mount. The seat is folded down against the wall when not in use. There are no identification markings on the wood or iron. Bracket measures 7 1/2" tall x 2 1/4" across. Seat is 11" diameter. Antique or Vintage Arts & Crafts 4 Legged Bar Kitchen Stool
Item up for bid is a fantastic old 4 legged tall stool. The top has a horizontal crack that runs almost the length of the top. The seat is double thick with the pieces held together by flat head screws. Seat has some white spots on it of unknown origin. Item was found during a recent estate liquidation in the attic where it had sat for many years so it could use a good polish to really bring out the beauty of the wood. ANTIQUE CAST IRON BAR STOOL 1880-1890?
ANTIQUE CAST IRON STOOL FROM THE LATE 1800'S. THICK WOOD SEAT WITH ETCHED OUT TURNS. THIS STOOL POPS IN ANY ROOM AND BRINGS YOU BACK TO THE LATE 1800's. THERE IS HAIR LINE SPLIT IN THE SEAT. WHERE THE WOOD HAS SHURNK OVER THE YEARS. THERE IS A REPAIR TO THE WELD OF THE FOOT REST, APPEARS TO DONE A LONG TIME AGO. I HAVE TAKEN PHOTOS THAT WOULD SHOW HOW IT REALLY APPEARS EVEN THE REPAIR.
