Description: This Art Deco custard glass shade is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Only one available. The shade was used on chandeliers and wall sconces. The actual width is 6-3/8 inches across the top rim. It is 3 inches tall. The mounting notch is about 13/16" wide right at the rim. There are a couple of tiny dark spots which are contained within the glass. And a slight blackish line, which can be seen in a couple of photos, that are impurities and a result of the manufacturing. Antique Victorian Gas/Electric Brass Wall Sconce~Acorn Pull Chain~Hubbel~Flowers
Beautiful little sconce. And has a very unique acorn finial on the pull chain. The set screws on the pierced top fitter are pretty little flowers, and all three are present. It was in use in our 1891 home until just recently when we opened up a wall to the reading nook it was in to make a master bath. I suspect it was there from when the house was wired to replace the gas lights. Our town. Bellefonte, was the second town to be electrified after Edison's home town! The sconce is wired and ready to go. But please an electrician or knowledgeable person double check the wiring to your satisfaction since it is not a new piece. The wiring is cloth covered, but doesn't look original, so may have been rewired more recently. The piece is marked 250V Hubbel 250W on the socket. And Pat Applied For on the arm. Brass 20s Victorian Craftsman Wall Sconce Fixture Glass Shade Antique Art Deco
Antique All brass wall sconce with special details. Nothing can be purchased with this quality anymore in the new market. The old sockets were made to last and out of brass also. This one sconce has a brass turn socket than has been cleaned and rewired and works very well. The pictures do not show it is lit. But has been tested. The glass looks great in the pictures and far away, up close you are able to see at least 3 nice chips, but the glass is stable and strong as you can see in the pictures. The glass looks white, but has faded with age. Used to have gold accent lines and every other panel a purplish hue. Some of it has aged off. The brass is in excellent condition and was just cleaned a sealed. Retaining the patina and the special color of a purple around the edges of the bulb cover and the edges of the sconce wall plate. An attractive Arts& Crafts Glasgow School brass wall sconce with very good quality repousse stylised bird decoration in the style of Talwin Morris. It stands 28cm high and measures 11.5cm wide. The actual repousse work measuring approximately 10cm x 7cm. There is an original hanging hook to the reverse as shown. Vintage Bronze Wood Spanish Rustic 35x9" Wall Sconce $49.99
Vintage Bronze Wood Spanish Rustic 35x9" Wall Sconce $49.99 This is a unique piece made in Italy. The logo is on the back but I cannot read it clearly. I believe there are 3 letters UNS in some order or the other. It is obviously a quality piece. The wood is solid and I am not sure if it is oak or walnut. It is an entire piece that is over an inch thick. The back of the sconce is finished except for stain. The front is covered with a piece of brass or bronze and the lamp shade matches it. There are some dings in the top of the shade but none on the surface. See pics. It has a really nice ornate piece that hold up the candle. The flecks on it are dust. I should have cleaned it before pics. It measures 35" tall and is 9" wide and over an inch thick. The wood has beveled edges. The cream candlestick is in excellent shape as is ... morethe wood and the bronze except for the dings on the top of the shade. The ornate piece at the top is not meant for hanging. It has even been flattened so the sconce will lay against the wall perfectly. There is a mounting aperture in the back with bronze around it to mount the sconce on the wall securely. I do not think this piece was meant to be mounted to the wall and not removed. The piece of original cord is gold and would look nice with the lamp hanging down. The mounting piece. Too is one not used for permanent mounts. The lamp will need to be rewired. Someone cut off the original gold cord and tried to marry a piece of white cord with an on/off switch. I think this piece dates back to the 60's when the spanish renaissance style was in fashion. Gorgeous antique pair of art deco or nouveau wall sconces. Cast metal by Moe Bridges of Milwaukee Wisconsin. Painted beige with bits of green on the leaves and other parts of the fixtures. Heavy cardboard candle covers over the sockets. Retain original finish, they have been rewired with new sockets, the original switches are still on the lights but are not hooked up. If you wished to use the switches again they should be tested, and probably new switches installed. Will work fine wired directly into your house wiring and bypassing the switches, just wiring to a wall switch. There are small bits of metal cut on the sides of each fixture, probably for wiring, this isn't readily noticeable and over all these are really cool. Up for sale is an Antique Solid Brass Gas Wall Sconce features a rose design. Looks like a bouquet of roses. There are 2 tubes that lead to the large open roses, which thread onto the tubes. The front features a hole where a knob would be mounted to control the flames. There are a total of 2 gas burners, it could be used as candlestick holders or even be converted to make a really nice wall accent lamp. It is approximately 21"T x about 12 1/2"W, and total it stands approximately 4" from the wall, so I would say 4" deep. This is a really intricate and realistic casting, note the detail work on the closed buds and on the leaves. This is a very quality piece, and very solid and heavy, it weighs almost 6 lbs. It was made in the late 1800's to early 1900's and is of an Art Nouveau style. This would make a lovely accent ... morein any home or garden.
