I am quite certain this is solid brass- It ... moreis non magnetic, very heavy, the lamp weighs over 9 lbs. The whole lamp measures just under 24" tall, The lantern intself measures 7" square and between 10- 11" in height. The base of the stand is also solid brass, and the rest of the stand is iron(magnetic) The lantern portion is very ornate and has 4 unbroken glass, tiny checkerboard, panels in it. One of the panels is loose and not attached to the lamp, but is not broken. The lamp is in excellent working condition as can be seen in the first picture. The only other thing wrong with it is that is needs a new brass cap screw for the top of it- one of the original is missing and currently has a regular screw in place. The electrical cord is short and measures around 20- 21" in length. This is a beautiful unique solid piece and would look great on a patio or other outdoor living area, as well as for indoor decorating. Lamp is dirty and needs a good cleaning. This sconce takes a standard Edison base light bulb, not included in the purchase. The wiring is in good condition. The door on the bottom has all of it's original tabs to hold glass in place, the tabs are broken off in the light as shown and screws with washers are used in their place, not noticable when closed. Some wear and chips to the paint and some surface rust. It measures 9 3/4" tall by 6" wide and stands out from the wall 8 1/4" The glass is honey slag glass in good condition, no chips or cracks. Exact age unknown. We are told the more inclusions of bubbles in the glass the older the piece. This globe is loaded. Really a unique wonderful piece of glass. Hand painted but we think this was done in more recent times. We see the artisan had a few spots of paint outside the lines on the glass. Presented"as found" We see that this is slightly dirty and could use a careful cleaning. No chips or cracks but we do see some fleabites ... moreon the fitter flange. As the glass sits in the base this fixture measures approx. 8 1/2" tall. 4" fitter. The widest part of the glass measures approx. 7 1/4" diameter. The cast iron base measures approx. 6 3/4" diameter x 1 3/4" tall. It has some casting numbers. The glass attaches to the base with three set screws. The center to center mounting holes(base to ceiling) measure 3 1/2" diameter. Please look closely at the photos as the photos are integral to our description and is the best depiction of condition. It is 13" in height and 5-1/2" wide(at widest width- globe) There are some areas of white paint on the fixture and globe. The globe has a strap/buckle design, which consists of black paint, and some areas with silver/gray in color(which is the color under the black paint) Three screws are still intact for attaching the globe to the cast iron wall mount fixture. The wall mount is also gray in color with some places that have black paint. Both the globe and the wall mount have areas of white paint(as if accidentally painted on while someone ... morewas painting around it on the house) There is a small crack(two lines) in the corner of the globe; however, it is still functional. There are no broken pieces. I have not found another one like it!

2 Matched Vintage Mid-Century Small Light Industrial Age Porch Bath Globe Shades
Folks. I bought this these globes with several other antique and vintage globes. These are 2 matched mid-century glass shades. Measures about 4" tall and the outside measurement of opening that fits into a fixture is 1 3/4" There are no cracks. There is tiny flake off chip on the white glaze on bottom rim of one and some light roughness on rim that is common. They are all white with one window in the front. Vintage Antique Porch Light~Slag Stained Glass~Mission Arts Crafts~Parts Repair
This is an old antique arts and crafts style porch light. I has 12 heavy slag glass panels all the way around the fixture. None of the panels are cracked o r broken. The base of the fixture is metal and has several coats of paint that are chipping. There is the old cloth covered wires inside. So it should b e rewired for safety. This w ould look great on an old house. I'm selling it to be res tored or for parts. It measures 10" in length. 5 3/4 across the top, and 4 1/2" across the bottom. It contains glass on 3 sides of the copper frame and glass on the top as well. Its frame in copper and has a real nice patina look.
