They will require a socket and two wires found at any local hardware store or home center for less than $5. One glass shade has a hairline crack whick is shown in the pictures. Its mainly only visible from the outside. Overall great fixtures made of white metal to withstand the test of time. To be honest I removed the socket and wires because it was just too unsafe to use, the wires were frayed and I wouldnt want anyone to just hook it up and get hurt in any way. Unique Old Hanging Light Fixtures From Church? Gothic / Steampunk

Purchased at an estate sale, I was told they came out of a restaurant, but I do believe they had a life prior to that, since they are very, very old; I think they may have come from an old church or publc building like a train station. I believe they were hung from the ceiling, quite an architectural find; very old and unique. Their style is up for interpretation maybe Spanish? Gothic? Italian? I don't know for sure. Though they are old pieces I believe they could be restored to their original glory if someone was so inclined to put the time and energy into restoring them. They are in very nice condition and are 100% original from the porcelain sockets to the fabric insulated wire. There is no manufacturers mark that I could find on them but they are extremely well made and of a very high quality. Each fixture measures 10 and 1/2 inches tall by 4 and 1/2 inches wide and will extend 6 inches out from the wall once mounted. One fixture is missing the candlestick cover tube as shown in the photos, I chose not to replace it so as to keep them all original and leave the replacement choice up to the buyers discretion. 2 Vintage Victorian Ceiling Light Fixtures for Hanging 3 Chains Different Color
This buy it now is for a pair of antique ceiling light fixtures. They have the same design but are two different colors. One is clear frosted and the other is a pink frosted. This is old glass with numerous bubbles in the glass but no chips or cracks. These are about 10" across and about 4 1/2" deep. The fixtures are closed at the top and each have 3 holes in them that you would hang a chain down to hold them up. I do not have the chain or rest of the fixture. Just the glass ceiling globes. They were used on an Orleans style home that was built in Texas. They are hand blown amethyst glass into metal frames. As you can see they were out in the weather and they wire/wrought iron frames have rusted but they are still intact. I have not cleaned them but I did wash some of the dust off of one so you can see the color of the glass. There are some tiny flecks of white paint on the glass you will need to remove as well but that is easily done with paint remover. You will never find ... morea pair of fixtures like these again! I feel they will clean up nicely and one could re-paint the wire to preserve it from further rust. They come in two peices that you would screw together. They will need to be re-wired as they have the old fabric covered wiring. The small pieces go on the top with a"ring" to hang them from. Sadly. One of them has broken areas on one side. If you are adventurous you might be able to get them repaired but I would not even begin to know how. OR you could just turn that one to the backside so it could not be seen. Unusual Post Mounted Vintage Green Enamel Light Fixtures with yoke style B
The stylized dome shaped fixture comes with hardware to mount either on a post or hung with threaded pipe. This fixture originally was designed for mogul bulbs but has the adapters in place for regular size bulbs. I have several and some have small chips in the enamel but overall are in good condition. This is vintage porcelain over steel. This style has a yoke that surrounds the bulb area for post mounting but the round top has threaded plugs that can be removed for insertion of a threaded pipe so it can be hung either from the side or from above. 3 Vintage 50s Lightolier Ceiling Light Fixtures Mod Mid-Century Saucer Retro
Let me make it clear from the start that this is a LOCAL PICKUP ONLY auction. CASH ONLY. I have three of these great vintage Lightolier ceiling light fixtures! We took these down when we bought our house. Which was built in the late 20s(so these didn't exactly go with the house) The man we bought the house from told us he remodeled the living room/dining room in 1954, so I'm assuming that is when he bought these. They are a great"flying saucer" shape. With frosted white shades that have little unfrosted spots for the ... morelight to shine through, and little bumpy designs in the unfrosted parts.there is a close-up picture of this so you can understand what I am saying. As a matter of fact, I have taken so many pictures that I believe a detailed description of what they look like is unnecessary. What is necessary is a detailed description of the few flaws they have. Because I do not want anyone to be disappointed if they buy them. These things are over 50 years old, so they are bound to have some dings. There are a couple of rough places on the edges of two of the"saucer" shades. Actually. Only one is actually chipped.the other one appears as if it has been"shaved" off, like with a plane, and is not rough.it could just be a manufacturing flaw. These are pictured closely. Neither are very noticeable from the bottom, which is how they will be viewed when they are installed. The chrome parts are all nice and shiny, but at a close range the"pitting" that is inevitable with chrome can be seen in some spots. The worst spot, on one of the vertical"legs" is pictured. Vintage 1930s - 1950s kitchen light Light Fixtures. PAIR PAIR PAIR ! VERY COOL!!
This is a really cool pair of kitchen lights. I think its 30s 40s or 50s. I am also listing another retro kitchen light. The chrome on these is painted. And I did not want to put stripper on them(I did not know if it would hurt the chrome) but the paint seems to be coming off easy enough(I put duck tape on and pulled it off) I think they would clean up pretty easy. The small one has a bit of rust, but I think that is from something that was up againt it in the shed. If these do not sell, I will go ahead and strip them and re list. Vintage Pressed Glass Globe Light With Matching Fixtures Lighting Kit Hi Def Pic
Glass Glob e Light Fixture with M etal Mou nt Everything was taken in High Def no cracks or dings in the glass that is seen. The metal framing mount has a few marks on it appears to of originally been painted gold which is common. It is solid and holds up well but the wiring will need replaces which is seen on the backing. The mirror plate has a few nicks in it which is also common. But if you want it all here now here it is usually people mix and match frames and what not and really only care about the globe which is fine. I will ship what you want and junk what you don't for instance the wall bracket is completely rusted and will need replaced. More then likely you weren't going to use it anyway. Anything you want stripped off of the lot winning bidder can let me know. The diameter of the fram e itself is ab out 12 inches from the ... moreouts ides. The metal itself is kind of heavy but painted I would guess some of it is brass more like ly iron maybe. THE OPENING MEASURES 5 3/4" FROM RIM EDGE TO RIM EDGE. THESE PROBABLY CAME OUT OF AN INDUSTRIAL OR LARGE OFFICE BUILDING AND POSSIBLY WERE USED ON LARGE CEILING FANS. THEY ARE MILK GLASS WITH BLACK STRIPES AROUND THE 3 PYRAMID EDGES. THERE IS SOME BLACK LOSS. BUT SHOULD BE EASY TOUCH UP, IF YOU EVEN DESIRE TO DO SO. THE RIM EDGES EACH HAVE SMALL FLAKE CHIPS.
