My guess would ... morebe that this piece is from around 1910. It features an Arts and Crafts or almost a Frank Lloyd Wrightish design. It's 11-1/4" wide and 29" tall. The glass is all original but the window has been partially releaded and has new zinc on the edges. It's been cleaned and regrouted so it should be good to go for another 100 years. The upper pattern is made up of opaque white granite. An off white opalescent, opaque brown granite and some opaque orange granite glass. The field is clear chip glass and the inner border is the same as the off white in the pattern. The outer border is a very interesting shade of opaque green. All in all a very cool little Arts and Crafts design window. I'm going to have to raise my shipping and crating because in most cases the 25.00 doesn't even cover the Fedex charges. The actual material costs for the crate this window will ship in. see my feedbacks about packing and crating) will be 15.00 no time included. Antique Arts and Crafts Style Stained and Clear Glass Window. This auction is for an antique stained glass window that came out of Chicago. My guess would be that this piece is from around 1910. It features an Arts and Crafts or almost a Frank Lloyd Wrightish design. It's 11-1/4" wide and 29" tall. The glass is all original but the window has been partially releaded and has new zinc on the edges. It's been cleaned and regrouted so it should be good to go for another 100 years. The upper pattern is made up of opaque white granite. An off white opalescent, opaque brown granite and some opaque orange granite glass. The field is clear chip glass and the inner border is the same as the off white in the pattern. The outer border is a very interesting shade of opaque green. Antique stained glass window(door topper) sourced from Baltimore. Maryland. Guessing 1920's- 40's but could be older. Half Circle that is 15" tall at center and base that is 30" wide. Wood frame has been stripped of many coats of paint but needs to be sanded and refinished. The glass is in good condition. The lead is in fair condition. Yellow, blue, pink, red, green glass; with a white"45" that is grounded in a cobalt blue glass background. Due to the fragile nature of the item. 6pc Painted Antique American Stained Glass Window Set
fid10033-10038 A set of Painted Antique American Stained Glass Windows from Eagle Mills. New York, circa 1900. The set is comprised of 6 individually framed 2 piece sections. The frames are original and measure 24.75" x 77.75" each. In the picture immediately below, I have arranged the individual framed panels in a completely arbitrary composite. The thumbnail sets below show the individual framed pairs in multiple images. The windows are essentially all in excellent condition with only a couple of cracks in the entire set and perhaps 4 border pieces which have been damaged and need to be replaced(which I will have done) The top panel of each pair is in a ventilator frame and they all still open and have their original hardware. Up for bid is this uniquely designed larger vintage English leaded stained glass window from the early 1900's. It's 22 1/2" X 27 1/4" with frame. This window was designed using clear& textured glass in a beautiful& very decorative way. Each of the four larger glass panels used in the lovely design featured in the upper center of the window have small ribbed circles made into the glass. I've not seen this particular style of glass before& it definitely caught my eye! The four clear glass panels in the design have a wavy texture. Nice contrast. The two bands of glass on either side of the design are scalloped. The two narrow bands of glass leading down for the design have a tiny tiny beaded texture. The other peekboo panes have a honeycomb texture. This window was hung from the left side. There is one antique ... moremetal hinge still attached to the side of the frame. There is a notch in the wood on the top part of the frame where the other hinge has been removed. Part of the hardware from the latch is still attached to the right front side of the frame. Some of the paint has been removed from just above the hardware. The unpainted area at the top of the frame is where another piece of hardware had been attached. The frame's shape& also unique in it's shape& design. The front of the frame is dark brown. The back& sides of the frame are black. The previous owners had painted the design blue& some of the leading red. Most of the paint has been removed. But a little remains. Hard to see& can be removed with additional cleaning. This window weighs a little more due to the additional wood in the frame& the larger size. There are no cracks. Nics or chips in any of the glass. The additional leading used to separate the different glass pieces adds definition to the whole design. The glass is very secure inside the frame& the antique wood frame is very sturdy. One step from the corner) You really cannot see these unless you are specifically looking for them because of the color of the slag. This is a wonderful example of the craftsman era windows in the more expensive boulevard homes. Size: Approximately 33.25"W x 24.5"H x 1.25"D. If you need exact measurements please ask. Antique Church Stained Glass WIndow- 9 Feet Tall Consolatrix Afflictorum- circa 19th century At the end of the 19th century Buffalo. New York's St. Joseph's Cathedral was being built. A large assemblage of stained glass were created for it by Franz Mayer and Company of Munich, Germany. The stained glass installation was completed in 1913. The cathedral was demolished in 1976 due to structural problems. This is one of the pieces from the cathedral. It's from the collection of John Leuthold of Los Angeles. Amazing artistry. It's 9 feet tall and 38" wide. Condition is very good. About six of the panes are cracked. But they're intact. No rapairs or restoration.
