For sale is a antique or vintage cast iron mailbox. Approx 6" W x 12" T. It has a tapered from, goes from 3" deep down to 1-1/2" deep toward the bottom. The back is metal and the rest is cast iron. The front has the words Post Box, has lockable front and to peep holes. The back metal plate has a good bit of rust but no holes and is pretty solid. Vintage HP Jornada 820 Windows CE Mini Laptop
The Jornada 820 was the first in the Jornada line of HP's"handheld" computers running Windows CE. It was introduced in 1998. The mini-laptop form factor. With a decent sized keyboard and a small trackpad made it more comfortable for the users of larger laptops, with long(10 hour) battery life, and a decent-sized display. The machine came bundled with"pocket" versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint that were compatible with the Windows-based applications. This computer is fully-functional. The screen is clear. And the keyboard works smoothly and reliably. It has a Compact Flash memory slot, which contains an included 8 Megabyte Kodak Type II CF card that works fine. It also has a built-in 56K modem, a PCMCIA card slot, 16 Megabytes of internal RAM, RS-232 serial port, USB-1 port, and connector for an external ... moremonitor. The original battery pack still holds a solid charge, though runtime seems to be about 3-4 hours of normal use versus the originally specified runtime of 10 hours. The unit requires two easily-replaced button-cell batteries to retain the content of RAM when the battery is expended, and does not include these batteries. The adapter has a taped splice or repair in the low-voltage cord that goes between the computer and the power supply, but this does not affect its operation in any way. The door is made of solid Pine, and features 9 wavy glass lites and 3 raised panels. When most people hear"pine" they think of a cheap. Weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10- 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However. There are a total of 3 pieces, the largest piece has two windows. All three pieces side by side. 9' 7" length. The approximate height of the windows is 21" The largest piece with the 2 windows is 4' 4" in length. The frame is 3" wide The two side windows are 31" in length. The frame is 2" wide The pattern. Detail& colors are beautiful. The wood frame is in nice enough condition on all pieces for a quick restoration. One piece of clear glass requires it be secured to the metal. Due to the age of these pieces there will be imperfections. There is one hairline crack to one of the side windows and there is one hairline crack on the larger ... morepiece. They are small.
