Vintage 1947 Antique double basin Cast Iron Farm Farmhouse Kitchen Sink & legs
Up for sale is this 1947 Richmond double basin farm sink and legs. The sink is approx 43" wide. 25 1/2" front to back by 12" high. The apron is 7" and the back splash is a total of 5" The basins are 17" wide x 15"there is a super deep basin on the left at approx 12" deep and the right is 6" deep. The outside faucet holes are 8" o/c and are standard size deck mount. The sink set is 65+ years old with its original porcelain and has been used. It shows signs wear and tear, sm nicks, scratches, scrapes, staining, etc etc. There has been a couple areas repaired with epoxy. The area around the drain holes had some deterioration from a leaky faucet and the top left corner of the back splash. They do not stick out but there. There are stains as well from a drain board had sat for a while. See pictures ... moreof close up areas. That being said the sink is still better than most and looks good. The cast iron legs are adjustable and bolt on in front of the drains. The legs and underside of sink will need to be scraped and repainted depending on preference. You just do not find character like this anymore and are getting more and more difficult to find, and great investment as well. I have been selling these sink for years and take pride in the sinks I sell, the sink pictured is the one received. Here is a chance to own a stunning antique kitchen sink with tons of character to enjoy for many years to come. Please ask questions if need more info. This sink was salvaged many years ago by a gentleman who worked for one of the locally in Kansas City for one of the numerous railroad companies. He kept it his entire life then handed it down to his daughter who intended to use it in a remodeled retro camper/trailer. Those plans fell by the wayside when she and her husband decided to tour the country in a new RV. The daughter said she thinks this was in a caboose for use by the engineers. I am not certain. But am guesstimating the sink to be circa 1920s-40s. It was made by VACMAT PRODUCTS, CHICAGO. It is a wonderful petite size for a variety of uses! It measures 12 3/4" front to back. 17" side to side, the"backsplashes" ... moreare 12" long, the bowl is 6" deep and the back lip is an additional 1" The sink is in excellent. Vintage condition with fantastic patina! It is made of galvanized metal or aluminum, so it is not heavy like cast or porcelain. The exterior of the base has been painted a number of times and the layers are visible in several places. It appears to have first been white, then army green and finally aqua or teal. It still has the original rubber stopper on chain attached. The sink would be perfect for so many uses! It would make an awesome addition to your tiny house. Mancave, camper, cabin, small bath, craft room or it could be used as a planter or fountain base, which are my favorite ideas! Very Nice antique cast iron white porcelain kitchen sink. Manufactured By Kohler. This sink has a tall apron and a deep 5"basin and if you are standing at just the right angle you can see a very light pearlescent rainbow in the porcelain on the apron. Old sink has left side basin and right drainboard. The porcelain has pock marks. Scratches, paint splatter, and scuff marks, as well as a few small chips around the bottom edge. Most of the porcelain with the exception of the bottom of the basin still has its glossy sheen that is usually dull on these old sinks. Vintage Hotpoint Sink Diswasher Electric Sink 1950's
This is a vintage Hotpoint sink with Dishwasher from around 1950. I believe back then Hotpoint called this an Electric Sink. This was a pretty high end item for 1950. My father used to collect neat old unusual items and this was with his collection. I know it has been in storage at least the last 40 years, don't know much about it before that. It is in used condition but not to bad for an item 64-65 years old. Drain is rusty, sink has some rust stains. The 2 flip open soap dishes next to the faucet open and close nicely. The knob for the dishwasher is missing. Some stains, chips, and scuffs on the front. Some chips, stains,and I think it's caulk residue on the side of the metal cabinet. Jadeite vintage dentist spit sink, Rare and Awesome!!
This is an incredible piece. I found this at an estate auction from a dentists house. I deal with the fire king jadeite but have never seen a piece like this. Its was labeled 1950s Jadeite Dentist spit sink. It is my understanding one of these in such great condition in almost impossible to find. I can't find a flaw in it except the glaze is wore off where it would screw into the drain. Dentists would use these as decorative pieces in their office to add a little flare and to use for patients while cleaning there teeth. But no chips. Cracks or fissures. Its pretty much mint. The last pictures are its true colors I took without the flash. Light greenish. Its very pretty. It also has a pat# 87228 imprinted in it. Rare Vintage Sylvanian Families Flushing toilet and sink These are from an old Sylvanian Families set. I am not an expert. But I believe that it is from the'80's. Both in very good. Gently used condition. There may be a bit of fade or scuffs from play as all of these items have been played with. The sink does not stand on its own. It needs to be adhered to the wall of a dollhouse. The toilet makes flushing and water noises when the handle is pushed down. It takes 2 AAA batteries which are not included. I have tested the toilet and the noises work perfectly. It worked better with the toilet tank lid'off' or gently resting on top. When I snapped it on tight, the noises didn't work. Vintage Metal Elgin Kitchen Cabinet For Sink Handles Emblem
You are bidding on a vintage metal kitchen cabinet made by Elgin(Eqin? Overall it is pretty solid with a few areas of rust. None even close to going through the metal. A few dents or bends but as you can tell there is nothing major wrong and should be an easy restore. Handles and emblems are all there and would clean up decent. To be prefect you would want to re-chrome them. Three holes were cut in the center backside of the floor for piping to a sink. The only part that is missing is a wedge type clip on the cabinet that catches the pin on the door and holds it shut. And to point out the obvious. There is not top! Drawers and doors open and close well and well aligned. I know most people are only interested in the emblems and handles but it would be nice to have someone restore the entire unit. It looks like something that may have been used to spit in at an old dentists office. I don't know. It has a water supply to wash it out and a drain.
