Up for sale is this Standard double sink from 1941. The sink is approx 51" wide at widest by 25" front to back by 12" high. The sink has 6" back splash and apron with the outside faucet holes are 8" o/c which is a standard size deck mount. The basins are 21" wide x 16" Left is 6" deep& right is 12" deep. The has its original porcelain and will require complete restoration, refinishing or could be used rustic. Other parts available such as restorable legs and drain boards for each at a additional cost. The sinks are heavy and Shipping with freight( over 150 lbs. can be expensive, the sinks itself weighs approx. 200-240 lbs. Everybody has a dream kitchen. And this is the sink that belongs in it. This is a salvaged 1939 cast iron double-bowl farmhouse sink. Unlike many sinks of this type. This one has a sleek angled-corner design which reflects the period of time between Art Deco and Streamline Modern architectural styles. There are tabs at the bottom onto which legs(not included) could be attached, however this sink had been installed without them. The sink needs refinishing. Unusual to rare shape of DENTAL SINK: a CLOVER SHAPE Sink. In Thick, Heavy Ironstone or porcelain, not sure which. No manufacturer mark that I can see. Has Brass pipes. Spout is maybe zinc over brass. Again, not sure of metal content. SIZE: Sink alone is approx 10" by 6 7/8" and sink is 4" high. Not including any fixtures. The pipes BELOW sink extend 3" and the spout rises about 4 1/4" including its fixture. If you want to put this on a shelf, as is, with pipes and spout, it would need about 9 1/2" to 9 3/4" clearance in an upright position. sink's opening(drain) is about 2 1/8" diam. CONDITION: Overall Good. With wear and SCUFFING along top edge, several tiny surface nicks inside bowl(appear as dark spots) I did not bleach this, but if you did, bleaching would probably hide much of the darkness ... morein the nicks. Here is a complete drain assembly with stopper that was removed from a 1950's American-Standard bathroom sink. This compliments their'Re-Nu' lavatory faucet sets. The tailpiece is is short and only has about an inch or so for connection. The plating is in decent shape with a few jawmarks and mineral deposits. The drain flange shows the most wear, and the stopper shows normal wear. Plan on replacing any gaskets as any rubber parts are dry and brittle from age. Please check all photos for condition. There are some imperfections in this piece from use over the past century. There is a shallow chip(about the size of 2/3 of a quarter) on the right-side lip. It doesn't quite go all the way through to the cast iron. It's hard to see in my photo, but it's there. Not terribly noticeable when the sink is installed, but porcelain chips can be filled if you were to choose to do so. The sink is quite heavy. For sale is a Vintage Farm Sink. I am not sure the year but it is in great shape for its age. No cracks or leaks. One spot in the sink about the size of a dime could be painted out and refinshed. It comes with cabinetry which is rare. It is big at 69" wide so there is a lot of countertop space. This is a rare find in such good condition. Cabinetry is made of metal as well. Here is a pair of sink leg tops that were found on American-Standard sinks from the 1930's-40's. These are for a very specific style of legs/towel bars. They are for round tubular legs and not the more commonly found hexagonal ones. Also, the towel bars thread into the sides of these; the bars that were found with these were radiused tubular pieces. Up for sale is an extremely rare and hard to find Antique Copper Wet Bar. Included in sale is a sink. Small rectangular drain, lower pipes and faucet. This was reclaimed out of an early 1900's house that was being torn down in Lake Oswego, Oregon. All pieces have original aged patina. We opted to not have these polished as some designers want orig. patina.not freshly polished. Could be easily taken to a metal polisher and brought back to a wonderful shine. All items have some wear as is normal for things of this age. Sink does not apprear to have any dents or damage. It even has its original pull out copper drain filter. Rare Vintage Bathroom Marble top w/Porcelain Oval Sink (complete)
You are bidding on a very rare complete marble top and backsplash with it's original oval porcelain(under mount) sink. Complete with the original nickel support mounting brackets and sink mounts on the bottom of the marble top. There are no cracks, but only one small chip in the far rear left hand corner(as seen in pic)The marble top and backsplash has some staining around the two faucet areas, which is likely due from years of wet hands turning the faucets and water left sitting. I do believe that these stains could be removed with marble cleaner and a little effort. The nickel support brackets are in good shape and could be shined up very nicely. This sink unit would make a lovely addition to any vintage bathroom. Here is a faucet set that was removed from a 1950's-era'shelfback' bathroom sink; the faucet set is Central Brass and the drain assembly is Universal-Rundle. Both valves open and close properly. Though a rebuild may be wise due to the age. The trim is in poor shape. With pitting and wear to the plating.
