It dates from the early 1900's around 1920. It is a signed Electrolier fixture. This company made high end lighting in the 1920's and 1930's. This fixture comes with the slip shade. The glass shade is free from any chips or cracks. This lamp looks quite nice hen it is lit. The sconce has the original gold paint and it is free from any signs of rust which is nice. This slip shade sconce has the original switch on it and it is still active and working. This lamp has been tested working however it still has the old cloth wires so you may want to have them replaced. The sconce measures 6 1/2" x 10 1/2" and projects 5 1/4" from the wall( with the shade on) The slip for the shade is 4 5/8" at the top and curves in over 3 1/4" As you can see there is some white wall paint on the one corner. This could easily be cleaned off but we did not want to ruin any of the original gold paint so we will leave it up to you. Never Any Reserve! All questions will be answered promptly! This vintage light fixture has such great design on the piece. It's all around the outside and then then ittle circle in the middle of the light. Its in great shape. No cracks or chips. Is a cream color with the flowers. There isn't a chain switch that should go in that hole. You can always purchase one in a restoration strore. The flowers pink and yellow. There is some paint on the ceiling mounts that need to be cleaned off. There are no chips or cracks to the shades but there is a spot that has been ground down on the rim around the fitter on one shade. It is hardly noticeable and undetected when put into the ring. The shades are cased with orange and white faded colors on the outside and white on the inside. The shades are 4"long x 5"wide. Vintage round ceiling light fixture with base glass turning purple
Nice old classic ceiling light fixture with good detail and intact without chips or scratches in good working condition when it was removed from my porch. This fixture is about 45 years old and the glass was originally clear. But is turning purple from age and has cool vintage look. The base is included, but has rusty areas. Some buyers don't need a base, and others paint them, so it is included as is. Measurements are as follows: the total drop down from ceiling is 5 1/4 inches with base. The glass cover itself is 4 inches high. The inside diameter opening is 5 1/4 in and the outside diameter opening is 5 3/4 in. The cover is 6 inches across overall.
