Which are both in working condition. The shade is frosted and has some blemishes(scrapes, discoloration etc. due to age. The chrome has some pitting and discoloration spots. It shows it's age, as this is a vintage fixture. In order to change the bulb. You have to pull on both of the side arms to release the shade(similar to the function of a toilet paper holder) I don't think the switch is original to the fixture. But I think the original looked similar to this, although it may have been a push button. This is a toggle switch. Perfect light to go over a bathroom vanity or it could be hung directly on the ceiling. Try it sideways as a sconce! Many wonderful purposes for this cool retro lights. I deal a lot in light fixtures and this one is fairly unique and uncommon. It came out of an old craftsman style house in Carytown in Richmond. VA. Please ask any and all questions! This is a vintage western glass ceiling light shade probably from the 1950’s. It has a different scene on each side. The scenes are in green. Brown and tan with a white background. There are scenes of cowboys sitting on a fence. A cowboy cooking over a fire, horses, and a steer wrestler. There is a rope lasso around the center hole. There are some small pinhead size bubbles that you can feel when you run your hand across the inside of the shade and some minor scratches in the finish. There are no chips or cracks. The shade tapers in at the center of each side so the dimensions are larger at the corners. This is a nice old shade that would look good in a western themed room. Vintage Mid-Century Electric Light Fixture
Ivory and brown vintage wall-mount lamp. Not sure how old it is. But it was hanging in my grandma's house my entire life, so it's at least from the 70's, although I suspect it's older than that. Plastic and brass. Original two-prong cord, no chips or cracks, the gold star design on the front is still shiny metallic and perfect, not peeling at all. An enormous amount of time would be required to duplicate this light because all of the components are vintage and it is the only one I have ever found. It has a very nice caramel color with beautiful-highly detailed clear glass. All components are in excellent condition and are from the 1930's era. The shade and stem are matching. The shade measures about 16 inches in diameter and is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. Notice the correct bobesche at the top of the housing. The chain has been left with its vintage petina- looks great. Brass of this quality is very hard to find. The ceiling canopy was sanded and repainted as is also from the same era. The socket housing is vintage but has been repainted. There are three new porcelain sockets pictured with 60 watt bulbs along with all new wiring. You are viewing a 1940s Ceiling light fixture, Shade thick glass and is a rose pink Satin color on the outside.It has a clear raised design of leaves on the outside rim and center. The inside is smooth and the outside is a slight texture to it. There are 3 small holes for the hanging chains to the aluminum colored fixture the chains and fixture are all will are included. All is in excellent condition. The glass shade measure 11" in diameter. And is quite heavy, 3 1/2 lbs. This fixture has not been tested. All wiring appears in good condition, though it is original. It has scalloped edge at ceiling, with a clear designed glass piece just below the 5 1/4" base at the ceiling.The fixture is 4" in length, then hangs approx 4 more inches with the chains. An industrial warehouse type light fixture made of steel with a porcelain or enamel type finish. The shade is apr. 14 3/8 inch in diameter and the overall height of the light is apr. 8 1/2 inches. The socket is for a standard size light bulb base. It was removed and tested and it does work. The socket has screw terminals for easy rewiring. The threaded hole on top will accept a 1/2 inch pipe. VINTAGE CHROME FLORESCENT CEILING LIGHT FIXTURE 50's 60's
BULBS ARE FOR PICTURE ONLY- THEY WILL NOT BE INCLUDED* This auction is for an old light fixture probalby for the 50's or 60's. It is chrome but has lost its perfect mirror finish with a bit of patina from age but it may buff up a bit. It measured 12.75" at the base and is 4" high. I hooked this up and the bulbs just glowed and flickered a bit. I didn't want to buy new bulbs to test it as I wouldn't be able to ship them with the light. So. I don't know if the old bulbs are burned out or if it needs a new balast. As you can see by the photos, the wiring is all original so you may want to rewire and install a new balast anyway.
